If you don't have a job you are a scumbag and you are lazy why wouldn't you work when jobs are literally falling from the heavens for you? When white people can't find jobs...they create jobs so they can have money and the government sanctions them legit even if the jobs makes no sense. White people hire white before they hire anything. So if you're a white male and you don't have a job then all of those things are true. Black people jump through hoops to get a chance at a job that they'll get turned down for. The economy is only bad when white men can't get jobs. That's when its a crisis that's when we need to do something. When you guys could get jobs and black men were still struggling and getting passed over...there was no national outcry for this....why? cause that's the way it was designed to be.

Well written. I just hope it is sentiment and not just words. I don't think it is possible for me to be racist as I come from an interesting family. I don't care for bigotry, no matter who exhibits it, but I do understand why we as blacks feel it necessary at times to remind others who benefit from a racist system, that we can be just as cruddy as they. I walked into an open board meeting last week and was the only black person there, but they were making decisions that would affect everyone. Funny thing is, I never feel out of place being the only black anywhere I go. I actually feel superior, but that is my "Jamaican/ German / deity(yep had to throw that one in), arrogance showing through.

Let me point out a little known fact.
Black people or 'the oppressed' or even if you want to take it further 'the formerly oppressed' cannot be racist. To be racist means that you have to be in a position of power to discriminate against those not in power. Black people as a group in this country are not in a position of power, regardless of who lives in the white house. Therefore, Black people on this board cannot be racist, on prejudice against their own and other people.

That being said it is the white people on this board that are indeed the racist ones. Now, I don't believe that there are as many as some of ya'll making it out to be so I'd like to think that most of the board is really prejudice because I think most of the people of color here are misguided, mis-educated, and unconcerned with their history, present, and future as a community, family, and individual.

About the baseball thing. Wasn't McGuire brought up on roid charges a while back? What happened with that? Now I'm assuming that race has something to do with the OP and Bonds but I'm just saying. Baseball has a short shelf life. First it was all white...then they 'let' Black people in...then they went to the Caribbean and recruited...now they importing from Japan, (surprised to learn that the Mariners is owned by Nintendo). To me, every desirable player in the MLB is of color but no one wants to defend them. The ones that get the defending are the ones that are either moderately good at the sport, or are exceptionally great in the sport for being white, (and I'm not being prejudiced. I HATE baseball but this is what I see from reading sports news). So for a guy like Bonds, it might not have been juicing up to compete with this next man but to compete with the next man that looks like him. That pressure to be the best for his culture, carrying that pigment with this statistics. Now I'm not condoning the steroids but if you're a good player and you feel the need to do something that is going to kill you the pressure on that decision has to be overwhelming. I think taking all these folks to court on this bullshit is ridiculous, there are more important things the courts need to rule on than the use of something that is illegal in certain circles. Pay a fine, have your stats docked in the record books, keep it moving.
