American Skin 1.15.2021 (Nate Parker) police are in trouble

You already know the nigga gon die in the end. They probly don't even kill the white cop before he get's killed. It's fuckiin hollywood man. Spike Lee. They ain't fixin to do no revolutionary shit where niggas win in the end.

Damn he let the white man win?? Yeah I'm not wasting 2 hrs on white man wins in this climate. I liked the Nat Turner flick, till the END. They also did not show enough violence against the white slave owners, after making viewers watch a man's teeth get pulled out:smh:

I was hoping so bad he wasted that pig instantly after the verdict came in.

Nate is a talented brother and I Felt like it had some good dialogue.......

But if I can add a criticism to this film and with his last film about Nat Turner....he doesn't go as hard as he can. I don't know if he's handcuffed or what because he claims to have to fund his own films because studios won't get behind it.

The trailer for this film and the actual film don't seem to coincide.....and I hate to tell a artist how to create their art but it should've been far more bloodshed than this with this type of subject matter.

Hold on when Nate Parker become a coon? Hollywood sure did a lot to make sure his career goes down the drain after doing a film on Nat Turner.......

As long as I’ve been breathing, anytime you have a white girl/boyfriend, wife/husband, you’re a coon.
Mixed offspring = you’re a coon

I don't see what the big issue that people are finding with this film. I feel like it speaks to real life and did what it was supposed to do. It was a dramatic and deep movie.

He got his closure, he got what he needed to rest easy at night from what occurred. Yall seem to want a movie where a black mand goes and murders police. What does that solve? Ok the killer who killed his son would be dead, do you think he would be able to live a happy life after that? NO, he would be dead just the same way he died in the film. What he did was far more gratifying than just killing a cop in revenge and have to face the consequences of that. He made that dirty bitch look in the mirror and face the reality of his racism and the whole department had to sit through that realization despite all the fuckery they stated before hand, they could not say shit after that. That to me is FAR more powerful than just killing in revenge and then being labeled a murderer and get locked up/torn down for it and having your family scrutinized and also being targeted by cops because of that action. It's a movie based on life and I think having these bitches see themselves and be unable to hide from the lies they tell themselves every day when they treat our people like we ain't human is far more damaging to the department as a whole than just killing one officer. It was a great movie in my opinion, money well spent and it opens up great conversations and I feel like this work should be appreciated. Now (in the movie) despite the news/media discrediting the man and stating he had ptsd and that was the reason for what went on, dude has a whole documentary from start to finish of what happened and the world will see it. Great fucking film.

I do think the film is more deep than people gave it credit for...I think people watched the bitch too fast.

We already know the deal...we wanted them to go out guns blazing.....that's how they set it up anyway....you just know Omari Hardwick's character is going to sacrifice his life because they establish he's dying from cancer..........that cat went out with a hug fuck a guns a blazing. And Michael Warren character just got shot for no damn reason.

Dudes talking about they want their money back because the movie didn't go the way they wanted sound crazy.

Ahhh shit.... Just for arguments sake you think Shannon Sharpe a coon?

The shoe fits

I agree...

Most of the time it felt like they were trying to teach white people, which they were.

Also, if the son listened to his Dad he’d be alive.

I also would’ve like like the son not doing dumb shit to end up getting killed. He didn’t deserve to be killed but what was he doing? Where was he going?

His Dad told him to chill and he didn’t listen to what his Dad told him earlier or when the cops pulled him over.

That’s also a lesson for the viewers.
