Please forgive me. I agree 100%. It was wrong for me to sexually fetishize MBJ, and openly lust after him. I would never want you or the other men around here to who are paragons of wisdom and the backbone of our community to feel under pressure or like they are sexual objects only good up to the point they cease to give me and other black women pleasure. Black men and women have been at war with each other for far too long. We have adopted white thinking and white beauty standards instead of being true to ourselves and loving ourselves. I agree, this
MUST end.
I humbly suggest we begin this journey of enlightened thinking and reimagined community and intimate relationships together, and in fact we can start with the men in this thread here who have expressed their concerns so sincerely and eloquently. We can start a new movement, right here on BGOL.
I will do my part to overcome my social conditioning from white America and stop sexualizing men and gazing upon them for selfish pleasure, and I know in my heart that you will do your part, too.
As the head of the black woman and our families, I look forward to you and the other black men here taking the lead on this so I and other women can follow your examples and emulate your selfless sacrifices.
There are some men who would seek to simply mentally and emotionally manipulate black women and get us to comply with correct thinking and modified behavior while they continue to get the payoff of this social conditioning for their own pleasure. You, however, are not like that. You are a man of honor and action, with steadfast convictions whom I trust with my entire being and I desire other black women to know they can also trust you and other black men as well.
To that end, I look forward your taking the lead and making the effort to dispel any fears black women may hold that you and other black men are untrustworthy or self seeking and also taking the good faith action of relieving the mutual pressure which I and millions of other black women feel, by deleting the thousands of threads you've created with thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of replies full of beautiful women with looks and bodies unattainable for the average woman and mothers of y'alls children, which were posted here for your amusement and sexual gratification
before we all came to the mutual realization of the harm this mental and social conditioning that white media and white society has foisted upon the minds of black men and women, has had on us. Now that y'all have made me aware of these actions by our common enemy, I will fight them together with you and encourage all black women to do the same.
Send me a list of the threads you would like deleted and, once that is done, we can make a new thread and work out a strategy for nullifying and reversing the harm inflicted upon our people. I look forward to building with you and following your lead.
In the meantime, forgive me if I fall back into my old habits and hungrily lust for MBJ and others as I await your guidance and action on this matter. I fear I may waiver badly until I have your shining example of sacrifice and resolve to guide my way. I eagerly await your leadership on this matter, my King.
