Am I just Dumb for not realizing my my gut/fat problem is all do to . . . .

There's a lot of misinformation in this thread...

Like shit that has been medically proven FALSE. I'm not even going to go into detail... Niggas gonna believe what they want...

Just know that I've lost 40lbs doing intermittent fasting and have kept it off for over a year now. And honestly, it's not hard to follow nor stick to the plan.

you can lose weight eating kit katts if you are not eating too many calories. Not eating sugar is not some magic cure to lose fat. There are fat vegans who don't eat processed foods.

my thoughts about sugar really don't have alot to do with losing weight.

refined sugar has been proven to cause many health issues for the obese and the non-obese. just because one is not obese does not mean that they are healthy.

refined sugar is a problem. period. here is something for you to think about. the process to create refined sugar and cocaine are very similar. in addition to that both sugar and cocaine also are absorbed into the blood stream very quickly and provide a rush or high. and both sugar and cocaine are easy to become dependent upon.

again, my issue with sugar is not solely fat. it is the other health issues that are my primary concern. those include diabetes, increased risk of stroke/heart attack, inflammation of all sorts, skin conditions, insulin resistance, tooth decay, periodontal disease and i can keep going.

you don't eat right and workout to lose fat. you eat right and work out to stay healthy. our society has brainwashed us to think working out is about looking good to buy clothes, attract the opposite sex, go on vacation or attend an event. that is the wrong way to think about it.

everyday when i get up to run i literally tell people that i am taking my medicine. when they first hear it they say what do you mean. i reply that many people wake up and have to take a cocktail of drugs to manage some health issue. i prefer to stay healthy and not have the health issue. eating right and working out does that. thus my medicine.

under no circumstance is refined sugar necessary for the body to function. it is also not good for you. do we all consume it? yes. but limiting it or eliminating it is a giant step in the right direction for HEALTH. not just fat loss.

https://www.brainmdhealth.com/blog/what-do-sugar-and-cocaine-have-in-common/

Now new research published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine backs that up by demonstrating that sugar has a similar effect on the brain to powerful illegal drugs and that it can be as addictive as cocaine! Furthermore, they say, cutting out sugar can cause cravings, binges, and withdrawal symptoms – like a drug addict going cold turkey.

But here is the good news: Once you let go of sugar, your cravings WILL subside.

Within a short time (usually several days) of eliminating sugar, many amazing things begin to happen in your body. Your hormones begin to regulate. Your hunger/satiation signals normalize. You begin to enjoy the taste of real (unprocessed) foods. Fruit tastes sweeter and vegetables more flavorful.

And by eliminating sugar, which contributes to lack of focus and inattention, you have a greater ability to focus on making the healthiest eating choices.

I cut way back on sugar and bread. White rice too. Dropped 40 lbs. Of course I was exercising often. I was pre-diabetic at the time. Stopped messing with those foods, now I'm good.

Does She Know Shes An Angel?
By Thriftbooks.com User, June 15, 2000
It often seems like an accident but the spirit always leds us to where we need to be. I found Queen Afua's book under a stack of dusty books in a book store some years ago. After reading this book four times, I think I am finally on the path to healing. This, of course, is a blessing. Only an angel sent from God could cause the healing of a people and that is what I think we will all find at the end of our journey if we...

A lot of the Keto people say you actually dont need to exercise. That once you put your body in Ketosis, it will burn fat and you'll lose weight.

idk king. i cant see anything but benefits from taking a walk, jog, getting heart and breath up. I would never want to listen to someone saying dont need to excersize. But what do i know.
