Jam_Jam said:You say "Anyone can stop eating, it's not that hard."You've got to be kidding. I know plenty of fat people that couldn't pull themselves away from a table with a crane. The problem with fat people is that their stomachs are stretched. The larger their stomachs get the more food they need to feel full. This is why many obese people need medical intervention to lose weight.
I agree it takes will-power and determination, but will-power and determination are not so easily achieved.
No, YOU must be kidding with a statement like that

"The problem with fat people is that their stomachs are stretched. The larger their stomachs get the more food they need to feel full."
Everyone's stomach is the same damn size.
When they have a medical procedure (like the lap band), they are merely making the stomach smaller than what it NORMALLY IS
They're NOT returning the stomach back to it's normal size, because it's been "stretched out"
Plenty of people have lost weight without any medical intervention.
What makes them any different from anyone else?
They lost the weight with exercise and better diet, plain and simple.
Stop being an enabler and providing even more excuses for poor health choices and lack of motivation!!!
