If Arnold feels he is really rehabilitated and more help to society alive, then he should spare him. A dead man does no good to anyone, but if he is just doing all this as a cover, then he should die for his crimes.

Tookie should have taken his death sentence bravely without clamor for clemency. He would have gone down in history as a martyr to many and a role model for redemption. His legacy could've been (to children) "Let my mistakes, redemption and punishment serve as an example to you that though you may make grave mistakes, you can always be redeemed, but still must responsible for the choices you make. Redemption does not mean to be pardoned from responsibilty, but be enlightened, reformed, respectful and responsible whether others forgive/pardon you or not. Remain diligent, yet humble. Seek serenity not validation." Atleast that's what his legacy could've been.

i don't know about that. governors don't grant clemency on their personal opinion. there's bullshit to consider. arnold has done work here in the inner city in houston that never received national attention so i can't write him off like that. as a matter of fact that made me think he would grant it.

Cats go from Saul to Paul everyday so I don't know if Tookie would have changed or not. As things go, he would have probably ended up dead if not where he ended up anyway.....prison.
The "if's" are endless in this but what I do believe is that if he had been paroled, he wouldn't have gone back to gang life.

Word many dont know that that meathead actually works in the ghettos. He has an obsession for helping disadvantaged kids. He's genuine about it. All his other views may be fucked but he really cares about the kids. He's always in the hoods in the bay area trying to find ways to fix problems. I highly doubt he's a racist.

Would you be willing to risk your life or property at the hands
of the LAPD for a convicted murderer? Would you hit the streets
knowing the history of the LAPD to protest for a man whos already

And by the way... for everyone who questions Tookie's guilt, just know that whether he's innocent of these specific charges or not doesn't change the fact that he was THE HNIC of one of the most murderous street gangs in American history and he didn't earn that position non-violently. Tookie deserves the death penalty for not only all the other people he's personally killed, but also for the people who were killed by the gang violence/environment that he played a key role in creating. Nothing personal, but justice must be served for all those people who weren't given the oppurtunity to have celebrities plea for their live's before Tookie (and the like) killed them in cold blood.

I didnt say shyt about the black vote Dr Truth! I say minority vote and you can say what you want but I know Arnie didnt get the job just based on his wife's connections.
He is going to lose some of that fund raising money from the minority rich cats... and to say Snoop doesnt vote is pretty comical because he is a registered voter.
