Lol yeah she needs the validation from the crowd too much. Next battle she has, I'm SURE someone's gonna break that shit down on her.

Havin said that, I think this was the best battle she ever did. Her bars were on point, performance, body looked aight in that outfit, she did her thing. If I could get her to just fall back a little bit on all the dick riding of every celeb in the crowd and begging the crowd to applaud every bar, she'd be aight.

Most of em keep going and only stop when the crowd applauds their shit. She stops and looks at them like "you hear what I said?!"

They are rapping over beats, and they're just doing it to capitalize off of the little name they have, plus the battle industry that's built up. The way they're doing this, they shoulda done a long time ago.

I dunno, at first I was happy to see it, but it really seems like a money grab that maybe they couldn't get on their own doing shows or something.

I'm still kinda excited about established MCs doing it, but I think they should go through the URL, use the same rules, split it with Smack for bringing his battle rap fans to it and the added promotion. Kinda corny to copy something then change the rules.

If it turns out to be good I'll be surprised. I'll be watching but they might put a black eye in the game of Album MCs battling.

but keith murry and fred dro are both a little off and I think that should make it pretty interesting..


fred dro got serious anger issues so he should hilrious if murphy starts getting to him..

it think it would have a better chance of suceeding if the used human beat boxes instead of djs since they GOTTA have beats.

Why won't these rappers travel and battle each other and do the same battle 4 or 8 times then upload it to YouTube. I still haven't see big t vs arsonal. Why won't big t and arsonal travel to Portland perform that battle, go to different venues and perform that same battle with no cameras allowed

I bet you could do it for $7500 - get the local spitters for the undercard; don't pay em and make a local promoter put up the rest. Even if Portland don't feel it let everybody paying for the battle stay for the afterparty and let the ladies in free until 12. Fuck it, tell em you want half of the door and the bar too. The little battle amateur circuit they had around here pooled cats from all over and had no shortage of sponsors -every barber shop and dope boy wanted in. It would've been crazy to have a celeb outside the local radio cats and Russ Parr & his sidekicks rolling thru.
Shop around before you spend for their travel and hotels. Take a lesson from Smack - he has those cats flying in luggage section of the plane on the landing gear, sleeping at a KOA without an RV.
 
I don't know if he's big stage material...

...because his presence is underwhelming - but I'd LOOOOOOVE to see this nigga go up against Chilla.

They're both from Boston, too.

Them niggas would bar each other into a coma.

Umm, a few things:

1. How many dudes on this card are hungry? If this card was from 2012, I'd be amped the fuck up.

2. Has Hollow become Lux and Mook? :lol: I notice Hollow ain't battling like that no more unless it's a major event. :lol:

Ill Will hasn't met expectations on the big stage yet. His best post pg showing was when he took B Magic outback and whipped his ass. That is the reason URL is hesitant to just throw one of these new PGs on that stage. Huge risk involved. It's easy to sit in hindsight after an event underwhelms and say they should have just thrown some PGs in there.
