All gym heads..check in..Killa is the strongest on board

I ran out and got Creatine cause of the hype. Worked out with these 2 big cats that raved about it. Took some for a couple of days and my nose would bleed. Stopped it and tried again a month later just to see. More nose bleeds then I did some research and spoke to my doc and he said I was already getting enough creatine from the red meats I ate on a regular basis. But yeah its a kick, felt like my muscles never tired but mentally I was telling myself I should be at failure right now so I never over pushed it. I just gave it away after that.

I get the best pump when I take L-citrulline. Your kidneys process citrulline into arginine. It relaxes your blood vessels and helps your body produce Nitric Oxide.

I get mines from bulk supplements on amaxon, mix the power in water daily.
i take L'Citrulline also (9 grams daily) /stacked with my NoxiPro preworkout drink. it definitely opens up your blood vessels.
as for creatine, yes, if you're already getting a sufficient amount from your diet then you don't need it. Stuff does work though. Pulls water into your muscles and gives them that full look. I may cycle back on it myself.

I mix my L-Citrulline with Beetroot Powder. They both do the same thing but I feel like I get an extra boost.

Damn I gotta get back on my gym grind. Strong ass mofos!
I've transitioned over to calisthenics but the weights was my first love.

OHP is my favorite press.
I'm up to 185lbs strict looking up it to 225lbs strict.
My best bench days may be behind me. Got close to 300lbs at one point.
My bodyweight is 167.

I might try this. I got tendonitis in my right Achilles tendon and it hurts like shit. I got to try something cuz I got to get this weight off. But I haven't been able to do much considering this tendonitis and my back issue

Looks like a good workout

Haven't been on creatine in years. Been taking magnesium and potassium just throughout the day. And nitrixoxide before workouts.

I'm down to 155 from 170 (took about 4 months)... personal goal was to get rid of lower belly fat and I've achieved that at about 90%... now I want my muscles to "pop" a little more. They do sort of now since people say I weigh more than I look. But personally I'm not that satisfied.

So I may go back to creatine but just seeing if yall use it as a pre-workout or just take that shit anytime during the day.

Quick and easy question for the fam.

I found a boxing gym that also does bjj and Muay Thai that is close by and mad cheap.

Took a walk around and spoke with the owner (white guy) went into the boxing area and it's nice but I had to see that "don't tread on me flag"

Do you go or just drive 25 minutes to the next closest BJJ gym ...

Was the gym empty? I recommend taking the free class that is usually offered to get an idea of the school's diversity.

creatine is not a 'pwo' type of supplement.
you take a 'maintenance' dose daily
usually around 5g.
or you do a loading phase for a week (you take it 3-4x a day) to saturate your muscles faster, then once saturated go back to 5g daily.
how you take it is really up to you.

Yep. Just started taking 5g a day.

So in essence I can just take that shit everyday same as say like a multivitamin

Zombie BJJ Bethlehem PA. Not black owned but referred to me but outside my price range right now.

Thinking about it, probably going to go with them.

I feel the dilemma. I’m into Capoeira, Boxing, and BJJ. I went to a few Cac led Capoeira studios and it lacked Blackness, they didn’t talk about the Yoruba deities or nothing. The Black Capoeira Angola studios were too far away. I found an Asian Capoeira instructor in my area, and when I walked into his studio he had the Yoruba deities plastered on the walls and I said,

“Finally! Hotep approved”

We need more brothas in the arts, teaching combat from a Black perspective.

I'm glad you said that .

My wife and I was just talking about renting a room in a community center and looking for a BJJ teacher to have more families that can't afford but want to train in the area.
