I didn't listen to vid because it's "thoughts of doubts". All religions teach people of faith. Faith is what creates GOD. Faith lets you see GOD. Without faith, you will become a non-believer. Most great people with her own type of faith made things happened. Many things exists without explanation, but it do exists. If GOD don't exist to you why argue? Because in your soul YOU KNOW, if he does, you will die a fool.

Around age 19, I started doing a tremendous amount of research into religion and spirituality. Also, I did a lot critical thinking about all I had read. I was raised in a very strict Christian home, and it was really hard for me to transition from what I was taught, to what I actually believe now.
I mean, the threat of eternal damnation is not to be taken lightly if it's something you were taught and believed since a very young age.
As of today, I feel the biggest issue with humans is they try to anthropomorphise god - and hold him strictly human standards of goodness and righteousness. As I cannot digest this entire universe - and all of it's inhabitants - being the result of chance, I firmly believe that God is beyond our petty little emotions. It's when we want God to think, feel, and act as we would that we fail epicly.
I don't believe this God is offended by my lack of belief in it. Frankly, the God of the Big Three sounds more like an overpowered tyrant, with tremendous insecurities. Basically, It sounds like what most humans would be if they were given absolute power.
I believe a Creator or Supreme Intelligence exists, but it simply does not involve itself in my day to day life in the way most people believe it does.

I checked out the vid and this guy is either a confirmed atheist or an agnostic. I have had many conversations with atheists down throught the years so his argument is not new to me. He is very eloquent but eloquence does not address some basic core questions.
The atheist mindset as I have seen it usually boils down to a few things:
(1) Intellectual Superiority
(2) Rejection of the concept of Spirituality or
(3) Personal life experiences that led you to conclude that God does not exist
Especially since the age of the greek philosophers and again beginning with the dawn of Darwinism the atheist philosophy has gained much ground.
If the person is sincere and genuinely open minded I will engage discussion. When they seem to base their views on intellectual arrogance and prefer to punch holes in any belief just for the sake of punching holes then it fails to be productive.
You can punch a hole in anything as a skeptic but your fulfillment comes from the feeling of superiority you feel and not a genuine honest and sincere search or quest for truth in life. They claim to cling to logic but are actually clinging to an air of arrogance. That isn't logical. That is emotionally fulfilling for themselves.
So the point is that everybody does everything for a reason. This planet and universe also exist here for a reason. With no supreme creator or energy source how or why does the universe exist?
The Big Bang Theory (which is a theory with no scientific basis and did not follow the scientific method but was pure man made conjecture) does not answer the age old question of how we all got here and why are we here in the first place? How has this Universe been sustained for thousands of years and again why and for what purpose?

I have no idea why some users were going back and forth about people that massacred others being self proclaimed Christians or not.There have been many killings done in the name of Christianity. That doesn't mean they were actually Christians, more like actors.
Tupac was right when he said,"Everybody kissin ass to go to heaven ain't goin I put my soul on it", because in the Bible it says, "many are called, few are chosen". Basically everyone claiming(again more actors) Christianity are NOT going to heaven, because God knows if their heart is pure or not. He knows all the behind the scenes, secretive things we never tell or show anyone. That's why so many actors playing Priests or Pastors are being exposed. We're seeing the other parts of them, that was once concealed from us. Can't fake the funk, with God.
The common denominator when it comes to being a Christian is faith. That is a hard thing to have, when you can't actually see it in your face as proof. People barely believe in themselves, let alone in God. It's hard to believe your girl or wife is 100% faithful, because of the temptation you know that's out there. It is by faith that you are saved. Belief is everything.
Too much pride in the world and not enough humility. Pride will get in the way of faith every time. The dude in the video was too smart for his own good. He didn't notice the other parts to it. God's love is like a parent, that maybe the reason that kid don't get it.
It's all our choice to go with God or not. Even though God knows what will happen(because it is already written), we don't know. Because we don't know our immediate future in the end, we have to continue to live and make choices we think are right for ourselves....be it selfish or not. But it is our choice to make it. If you're not following God wholly, cool your choice. There are consequences to that choice.
The bible may have been written by man, but it was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. Proof of the Bible's accounts have shown up lately. The History channel through out the weeks had shows on, that found Gomorrah, of Sodom and Gomorrah from the Bible........they found where Moses announced the ten commandments on Mount Sinai and discovered calcium deposits at the top of the mountain that give credence to the flood mentioned.There are too many signs in the Bible that have come to pass for me not to believe that God is real.

Much of what he said was TRUE...but he is misled as much of America is misled today. The Grand Architect of Life is not a Christian GOD. I will leave it there for now. You're right about the atheist crowd by and large. The problem with atheists is that they claim to KNOW the opposite about what others BELIEVE.

Then to hear these outspoken atheists go on and do what outspoken believers do, but to not even notice how hypocritical they are - because they hate religion pushed on them, they're so blinded by it that they don't realize in many ways they're pushing non-religion on others - which at it's core is a belief system itself.
The absence of proof of God is not proof that God doesn't exist, just as that same absence of proof does not prove that God does exist.
What's funny is that to outright deny God would be to limit the possibilities of this very universe - and to me that is an arrogance higher than that of so called "bible thumpers" because at least they can plead ignorance - but the great atheist is based on "facts."
And what are the facts? Fact is, we don't know what exists beyond our own world. Hell we don't even know all of what exists on THIS world. Every day, every year scientific theories are proved wrong, or there's new evidence. What that tells us is that we're still figuring things out, and honestly we're still crawling.
Just look at the images of the universe. You see everything in color, but it is not so. They are colored by artists. Everything is still very primitive. Yet despite that we have had many scientific advancements. Who knows what's next, or what may be possible.
Evolution? By saying there's no God definitively you can weaken the argument for Evolution. With humans damn near able to create life in a lab, atheists believe there's a limit to the achievements of a possible life beyond our own.
