Affluent black neighborhoods in Atl?

Camp Creek is about 40 miles from me or 50 minutes according to GMaps so I might have to hold off on that one so it looks like Cascade it is for right now.

Thanks for the info folks.

Is there any business in the Camp Creek area that anyone knows that I can put inside of my navigation to get there?

Waters Edge (Stone Mtn.)
Sandstone Estates (Lithonia)

that Camp Creek area is coming along nicely too....everything u could possibly need is in and around that area.

Real talk Henry County would be choice #1, followed closely by some parts of Lithonia. I'm more of a country cat so they suit my needs. If you looking for a more city feel, go over to Buckhead.

My folk just purchased a home on 4 acres and an auto garage out back out in Henry county and the white dude was so ready to leave he included 2 antique pickup trucks and at least 50K worth of auto mechanic tools in the deal for nothing.

Country my ass, when you seen the country, City Boy!!!!!!!!

Yo, what part of Glenwood are YOU talking bout? :hmm:

Them white folks aint having none of that over on johnsons Ferry, habersham, believe that.

has to be talking about where East lake Meadow Used to be Houses starting in the 700's now amazing change over there!

Cascade is only two exits north of Camp Creek! Camp Creek has plenty of black owned businesses. They just recently opened The Ultimates Sports Bar & Grill which is basically a smaller version of Fox Sports in Atlantic Station. Another thing come to LA Fitness between the hours of 4-7pm and you will see the motivation you need.

atlanta has plenty. try stone mountain and lithonia areas. there are subdivisions for days over there. and if you're trying to buy something dont let those folks give you a head fake. there is little to nothing selling in dekalb county right now besides foreclosures. So if somebody says, "Oh I can get xyz for my home" tell them "oh really. try it" then come back in 2 months and offer half of what they thought the place was worth.

Where can I find some of the affluent black neighborhoods in or around Atlanta that aren't gated?

I'm not looking to move but I do want to see how well some people are doing.

The most affluent black area is Dekalb county GA. I is one on the most black areas in the nation. Fuck what everyone is telling you.

I live out in paulding county.
In dallas,ga .
I love this area. People say I live out in the boonies, but when they get
here they realy like it. I have been out here for about a year.
My first house was in lithonia. I liked it but the houses are to close to each other and I didn't get as much house or land for my dollar.
Out here I live in a swimm / tennise community ,nice big yard.
Good mix of folk in the sub division too. Whites, blacks, asian, and quite a few mixed race couples. My house was about 190,000 for a pretty good size house'3100sqft' 4 bedroom, 3 full baths ,sunken living room, huge master suite, and it came with ALL the appiancese, everything brand new. I'm lovin it out here

Look, forget that "AFFLUENT" black neighborhood bullshit!! It does not exist!! 2 years ago I was looking for a home here in Atlanta and I visited many areas. Many on here have mentioned Camp Creek, I knew Camp Creek was a no go when I drove thru the Pulte Development and saw niggaz living in 600K houses with an Escalade, and 3 other cars in the yard with Dealer Tags on them. Plus my girl was a Mortgage Broker and I knew she had been qualifying niggaz who made nowhere near the money to live in the neighborhood. Shit is going to really hit the fan down there in 3 years. Hell I just received a forclosure listing that has 20 houses down there in the Camp Creek area... joints being sold for 195K. They were originally bought for 350K.

Lithonia is cool, but Forclosures are fucking it up also. By the way "BLACK COMMUNITIES DO NOT APPRECIATE"

Now listen to me good, if you want to live in a home that will benefit you in the future... live in Sandy Springs or Cobb County. Now I know there is no "affluent" black areas in Cobb... fuck that shit!! White folks take care of shit and don't steal from one another.:hmm:

I'm not looking for a house, just a nice area that is made up of mostly black folks.

how the fuck do yall got all these alleged wonderful neighborhoods but the aids rate is through the roof? shit don't add up

I am finding out the hard way. I have a very beautiful home and that shit has barely appreciated 30k in 5 years. I was expecting a 70k appreciation by now.:smh::smh:

I want out. Never again will I live in a black subdivision.

I promise you Dekalb county offers that. Lithonia. Stone Mountain area. Then there are the hot spots in ATL. Atlantic station full of upscale black women etc.
