Did I say the Ravens,I was talking about us....

He's whining and crying about not being favored and yet for the past 5 meetings the Patriots been favorite and won 4 of them...even when we was favorite earlier this year,it was only by 1 point...

And for him to act like nobody isn't going to pick the Patriots is even more ridiculous, because like I said there will be people picking the Patriots to win the game....

He need to sit his crybaby ass down somewhere with that bullshit....

I bet you that chart I posted from the "experts" picks will be the same in this broncos game.

especially that patriots hating fag chris carter:angry:

Denver Broncos' Chris Harris tears ACL
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000312768/article/denver-broncos-chris-harris-tears-acl

The Denver Broncos got some bad news Monday.

Cornerback Chris Harris suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during Sunday's 24-17 win over the San Diego Chargers, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported. USA Today's Lindsay Jones first reported the news.

The corner will do pre-rehab and have surgery in a few weeks, per Rapoport.

On NFL Network
"NFL Replay" will re-air the Patriots' 34-31 win over the Broncos in Week 12 on Monday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. ET and again on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 12 a.m. ET.

» Can't wait? Watch it now on Game Rewind
» NFL Network schedule
Harris left the game midway through the third quarter and did not return.

Harris is one of the most invaluable defenders and a big loss as the Broncos prepare to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

After Harris went out Sunday, San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers torched his replacement, Quentin Jammer, often as the Chargers mounted a fourth-quarter comeback. Jammer was burned repeatedly and after the game admitted he "played like (crud)," according to The Denver Post.

There is a chance that, facing Brady, Denver could move veteran cornerback Champ Bailey back outside after starting him at nickel back this week.

In their first meeting against the Patriots, the Broncos defense broke down after the half when Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie injured himself on a Hail Mary in the second quarter and missed the rest of the contest. This time, the Broncos will face Brady for an entire game without one their top cornerbacks.

I'm rooting like crazy for the Broncos here. But, as a fan of a team that plays the Patriots twice a season. I really don't like Denvers chances...Particularly because of how the started letting San Degio back in the game. Seemingly, unable to stop one receiver..Kennan Allen.

That WILL be exploited by the Patriots. A questionable secondary against the Patriots even with their diminishing receiving corps is never good.

Additionally, I don't believe in Denver's Pass-Rush. Losing Von Miller has really hurt them there. Plus throw in the fact that the Patriots have one of the best Oline by Talent and the Refs helping them out is obviously not good.

I hoping for a Denver win, But all signs are pointing towards a Patriots victory and another Superbowl where they would get killed against either NFC representative: 49ers and especially Seattle.:yes:

Damn

Sorry to hear that brother blues

Man that's messed up

U in my prayers Fam

He's gonna be watching the game from the best seat in the house

The only reason why the Chargers came back was because our starting corner got injured in the 3rd quarter....I really doubt the game would of be even close if Chris Harris was able to finish the game....

no I'm talking about this seasons week 1 to week 17 not being favorites.

patriots were not the favorites this year or last year against the broncos, but the patriots won both games.

Quick Take: Patriots at Broncos

Three thoughts on New England Patriots vs. the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High:

1. Just as Bill Belichick predicted: In a postgame meeting with receiver Wes Welker after the Patriots' 34-31 victory over the Broncos on Nov. 24., Welker relayed what was discussed. “He came over and he was like, ‘Good job, we’ll see you all again, I’m sure.'" Nice call, Bill. From start to finish, the Broncos and Patriots were the AFC's best, most consistent teams this season. And we never get tired of another Peyton Manning-Tom Brady duel. So it seems fitting, from this viewpoint, that these teams will meet to decide the AFC champion.

2. Broncos didn't get a heavy dose of Blount: The Patriots' offense has almost reinvented itself over the past three games into more of a ground-and-pound attack, with 6-foot, 250-pound bruiser LeGarrette Blount leading the team's three-man committee at running back and turning in two record-setting performances. Guard Logan Mankins said after Saturday's victory over the Colts: "Right now, I don't know if we're a better running team than a passing team, but the running is working. So why go away from something that's working?" Blount played just two offensive snaps against the Broncos on Nov. 24, in part because the Patriots fell behind 17-0 in the first quarter and became more one-dimensional toward the pass. From an instant analysis perspective, this is the key for the Patriots this week. If they can play the game on their terms and get Blount going, I think they have matchup advantages against a suspect defense that could be exploited and ultimately result in a win. If they are forced into a spread game like they were Nov. 24, the chances of victory decrease significantly.

3. In a sub defense game, secondary is as strong as it has been: In the Nov. 24 game between the teams, the Patriots were in a sub defense (five or six defensive backs) for all 90 snaps (including penalties). That's usually the way it goes when playing a Manning-led team and Manning was content to hand the ball off against the lighter box (280 rushing yards, 48 carries). That chess match figures to be in play once again. For the Patriots, they are as healthy and as deep as they have been all season in the secondary, which is ideal in this type of X's-and-O's chess match. Aqib Talib and Alfonzo Dennard are locked in as the top cornerbacks, with Devin McCourty and Steve Gregory the starting safeties. Nickel back Kyle Arrington played a solid game in the slot against Welker on Nov. 24 and the Patriots also have impressive rookie Logan Ryan.

I have no clue what happened to the poll, because I clearly had it Jan 18th..I always triple check what I wrote, whenever I make a poll....

As for the Broncos/Patriots.....The Patriots have been favorite against the Broncos in the last 5 meetings...The only time they were underdogs against the Broncos was the game in November and even then the point spread was 1....

Sunday will be the second time they will be underdogs against the Broncos, for Brady to cry and whine about being underdogs against the Broncos is ridiculous, because they've been favorite in 5 of the 6 meetings and won 5 of them..

For Brady say nobody wont pick them is so fucking ridiculous, because there will be people and analysts who are going to pick them against the Broncos,so I don't understand what the fuck he's talking about....

the poll is now closed(on the first day of the week)WTF:lol::lol:

as for brady's comments.......

are you trolling me:confused::confused:

Why do you refuse to read my responses.
I clearly said (to you) he is referring to "this season" not the last 5 broncos games man:hmm::hmm:

stop talking about the last 5 broncos games. I already told you that he is not talking about that.

the problem that he has stated(even before the article I posted) is that in "2013-2014 season" the patriots are not been picked to win games "this year" from the "experts".

So stop trying to put past broncos games in his statements.:lol:
Of course he could not be talking about the last couple of broncos/patriots games.
you have only had manning for 2 years. All the other years the broncos have had a worse record than the patriots.

Patriots have played the broncos 4 times in the last 3 years and are on a 4 game winning streak against the broncos.

That includes beating.....
Manning(0-2)2012 and 2013
Tebow(0-2)2011 and 2012

like I said,I have no clue what happened to the poll, because I tripled check the date, before I finished

And I could of swore his comments was about the Patriots being underdogs against the Broncos...even if they weren't I still don't see how he can say they've been underdogs all season when they've been the favorite for most of the season..

Sure they've were underdogs against certain teams, but looking at their schedule now, they've been favorite in atleast 10 games this season..

As much as I hate the likes of Bel and Brady, game recognize game. Peyton is no match for Brady and will not win in a scoring shootout.

NE - 31
Denver - 20

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning to face off for 15th time since 2001

The Denver Broncos were successful in beating the San Diego Chargers in a rubber match on Sunday, and with the New England Patriots stymieing the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, we have our AFC Championship game. It's a matchup of No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, so the system works, but it's more than that. It's a game between two very familiar foes.

Peyton Manning led the Broncos to a 13-3 record this season, while Tom Brady captained the Patriots to a 12-4 mark. What's more interesting at this point, though, is the history between these two players. On Sunday, Jan. 19, Manning and Brady will play each other for the 14th time, and the fourth time in the playoffs.

The first time these two met was in Week 3 of the 2001 season, when Brady made his first career start. He completed 13 of 23 passes for 168 yards against the Colts, winning the game by a landslide. Still, that was more due to Manning's three interceptions than strong play by Brady.

They met again later that season, and the Patriots won big again, this time with the help of three Brady touchdowns, the first time he'd thrown that many in his career.

Brady and the Patriots have been victorious in 10 his 14 matchups against Manning, counting the 34-31 overtime victory in Week 12 of this season. Brady has thrown 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions against Manning's teams, while Manning has thrown 27 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. Brady has a completion percentage of 67.0 against Manning's 62.4 in these matchups.

The most important games among the 14? Why, two AFC Championship games, of course!

In 2003, the Colts played the Patriots in the AFC Championship, and Manning had a horrible game. He threw four interceptions, three of which went to Ty Law, and the Patriots cruised to a comfortable 24-10 victory. Manning was sacked four times in that game, and Brady threw for 237 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

But Manning and the Colts did get revenge on Brady and the Patriots ... three years later. Manning managed to throw for 349 yards and a touchdown in a 38-34 victory in the 2006 playoffs. It an 18-point comeback, which is tied for the fifth-largest come-from-behind victory in postseason history.

Both of those AFC Championship wins led to Super Bowl titles. Here's a look at each game played between these two (asterisk marks playoff games):

I didn't have a preseason posted on this board. I actually got a series of bets going on in my local chanels. With one set of folks I'm dealing with, I'm the only one with both my NFC and AFC picks in the race. In another group one guy got the 49ers all the way against the Chargers so I really need the Broncos to win to edge him out.

You got us scoring 20 points...really...we're the highest scoring team in NFL history...

Both teams have changed since Broncos, Patriots last met

Less than two months have passed since the Broncos and Patriots met in a wild regular-season game New England. But as the two teams prepare to face off again on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game, there are significant differences on both teams. Here are some of the major changes on both teams since the Broncos and Patriots met on November 24:

– Broncos linebacker Von Miller had his best game of the season in that November meeting, scoring the game’s first touchdown on a 60-yard fumble return and adding two sacks and two tackles for loss. Miller is now on injured reserve.

– The Broncos’ secondary has undergone significant changes. Chris Harris was the Broncos’ best defensive back at the time of that previous game in New England, but Harris suffered a torn ACL on Sunday against the Chargers. In that first game, the Patriots’ passing game really picked up after Broncos cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie left with an injury at halftime, but Rodgers-Cromartie is healthy now. Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey didn’t play in November but will play on Sunday.

– The Broncos’ defensive line is also very different. Broncos defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson had a sack and a tackle for loss in the November game, and he hit Tom Brady as he was passing twice. Vickerson is now on injured reserve. Derek Wolfe was a starter on the Broncos’ defensive line in the November game but hasn’t played since then after suffering seizure symptoms on November 29.

– Broncos tight end Julius Thomas was injured and didn’t play in November, and backup tight end Jacob Tamme was Denver’s leading receiver in that game. Now that Thomas is healthy, he’ll be one of Peyton Manning’s top targets, and Tamme will likely be a non-factor.

– Rob Gronkowski was a huge part of the Patriots’ offense, with seven catches for 90 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos. Gronkowski is now on injured reserve.

– Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount barely played, with just two touches. Blount has recently emerged as the focal point of the Patriots’ offense, with 48 carries for 355 yards and six touchdowns in the Patriots’ last two games. The flip side of Blount’s emergence is that Brandon Bolden, who was the Patriots’ leading rusher in the November game against the Broncos, is now a non-factor.

– Patriots safety Steve Gregory didn’t missed the November meeting with a finger injury. He’s healthy and starting now.

– Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes had nine total tackles and recovered a fumble against the Broncos. He’s now on injured reserve.

– Patriots defensive tackle Sealver Siliga is now a starter but was inactive when the Patriots played the Broncos.

– On special teams, Patriots punter Ryan Allen is hurt and might be unavailable on Sunday. The Patriots had Devin McCourty returning kickoffs against the Broncos in the regular season but have now turned those responsibilities over to Blount. The Broncos had Wes Welker on punt returns against the Patriots but this time will have either Trindon Holliday or Eric Decker returning punts.

Do all these changes add up to an advantage for the Broncos or the Patriots? We’ll find that out on Sunday. But we know for sure that these two teams are very different than they were in November.

Beeiii help me understand something.

How did the Patriots destroy the Broncos when their win only was prescribed by a botched kickoff return:confused:

:lol::lol:
I guess you missed the game and 24 point deficit :hmm:
here ya go .I'll let you see it again..........

http://www.bgol.us/board/showthread.php?t=766851

You also forgot to mentioned that when DRC got injured, right before halftime,a rookie took his place and Brady was able to take advantage of it....

I have no clue, who's going to take Harris place, but its most likely Webster,Carter and Jammer will get some help from the safety, unless they move Champ back to his spot and Brady throw the ball in the middle...

The one thing I will say is that we must shut down the running game down and put pressure on Brady or it will be a long day,for us...:smh::smh:

josh already knows jammer can't cover and champ feet are done.
so we already know jammer will be starting.
just like in game #1 you have problems in the backfield.
the same thing that was exploited in the patriots 24 point comeback and the chargers comeback last week.........

Covering the New England Patriots: Chris Harris injury could expose back end of Denver Broncos defensive backs for Tom Brady

As the San Diego Chargers made a comeback bid against the Denver Broncos in their Divisional Round matchup Sunday, the question asked by many watching QB Phillip Rivers tore down the field with a wide-open passing attack was "Why didn't they do this sooner?"

The answer was simple: They couldn't. At halftime, Rivers was 5-of-8 passing for only 20 yards, with the biggest play being dump off to Danny Woodhead that was caught three yards behind the line of scrimmage and taken for a seven-yard gain.

What happened in the second half? The Broncos lost cornerback Chris Harris.

Halfway through the third quarter, Harris limped off the field on an injury away from the ball that was not even noted during the CBS broadcast. But the loss was huge. The Chargers were simply better moving the ball overall during the second half. But from the play Harris went down forward, Rivers was 12-of-18 passing for 192 yards and two touchdowns.

Heading into Sunday's AFC Championship Game, one of the main keys for the Denver defense will be sorting out its cornerback situation without Harris, with reports emerging Monday that he's done for the year with a torn ACL.

When the injury occurred, the Broncos were lined up in a nickel package with Harris and No. 1 corner Dominique Rodgers-Chromartie lined up on the outside and Champ Bailey working the slot. After the play, the Broncos brought in 34-year-old corner Quentin Jammer, who took over on the outside receiver.

The impact of the loss should be familiar to the New England Patriots, who saw what happens when a team loses a top cornerback without a solid replacement last season after Aqib Talib went down in the AFC Championship game. The loss has less to do with the individual player's talent than the fact that everyone else on the depth chart is bumped up a slot and often forced to play out of position.

The Broncos are fine at their top corner spot with Rodgers-Chromartie. The issue remains with Bailey, Jammer and the rest of the Broncos secondary, should the Patriots divert from their recent run-heavy style and opt to spread the field.

The Patriots are riding high on their run game, coming off of two straight monster performances by LeGarrette Blount and the offensive line. However, against a Denver team that knows what they'll be getting in the New England rushing attack, exploring the mismatches in the defensive backfield may play a significant factor.

Breaking down the Broncos' backups for Harris

According to Pro Football Focus, Harris saw over 100 more snaps in coverage than any other Broncos corner this season, working on the outside in base packages and then dropping down into the slot when teams brought additional receivers onto the field. Harris gave up 36 receptions on 56 targets in 393 snaps in the slot with opponents with a 65.6 QB Rating when throwing on him there.

However, when Bailey returned from a foot injury in Week 13, it allowed the Broncos to keep Harris outside, especially during the last two weeks of the season, while the 35-year-old Bailey worked his way back into the rotation.

In his limited time in that position, though, Bailey's numbers have not been great. Over his 40 regular season snaps as a slot defender, Bailey was targeted six times, giving up three receptions, including a touchdown. Against the Chargers, Bailey played 23 snaps, all in the slot, with Rivers going a perfect 3-for-3 when going in his direction.

The Broncos ended up sticking with Jammer on the outside for much of the game after the injury -- and had little success there. Rivers was 3-for-5 for 97 yards and a touchdown against him, with rookie Keenan Allen burning him outright on a couple occasions.

Behind Jammer, the Broncos also have the option of playing veteran Tony Carter or rookie Kayvon Webster on the outside. Against the Chargers, Carter was inactive while Webster did not log any plays in coverage.

What it means for the Patriots

The Chargers' No. 1 weapon in their second-half comeback was their breakout rookie wide receiver Allen, who finished with nine catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns. At 6-foot-2, 211 pounds, Allen's a larger target with speed that uses his size well. And while he's certainly not as good as Allen at this point, the Patriots do have a similar target in
6-foot-3, 209-pound rookie Aaron Dobson, though his status against the Broncos is still very much in the air.

Outside of Dobson's potential return as some form of legitimate outside receiving threat, the Patriots will likely be looking to find ways to get the ball to Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola (even Austin Collie or -- gulp -- Kenbrell Thompkins) against Bailey and Jammer (or Webster or Carter).

The Broncos will likely have the edge in the matchup whenever Rodgers-Chromartie is in coverage against any of the Patriots' receivers. Although, if there's a team left in the playoffs that can live with having one receiver taken out of the game while the quarterback surveys the rest of the field for open receivers, it's the Patriots.

Looking back at Week 13

It's tempting to look back at the two teams' last meeting to see how the Broncos' defensive backs match up, but there's not too much to draw from the data. According to Pro Football Focus, the only Denver corner who didn't have a crummy game was Rodgers-Chromartie, who only played saw the field on 13 passing plays. Meanwhile, Harris, Webster and Jammer were all target seven times and gave up four, five and six receptions, respectively.

Overall, the numbers just reveal more details about how Brady shredded the Broncos on 34-of-50 passing for 344 yards and three touchdowns.

I know I was talking about you, but how Am I suppose to know your internet would be down the day of the game and(from week 13 to week 17) for so long:D:D

I wasn't going to announce to the world, let alone the messagboard I was moving....

You should of known I would of made a thread or chopped it up in your thread for that game...Unlike some people I dont hide, when my team loses a game.......:yes:

Luck got people thinking that the Patriots defense is great or something.

There's Talib, Wilfork and everybody else.

The Colts couldn't even run on that defense, its going to be a different story when we play them and let's not forget JT was't in the game in November,so we will get all our weapons back....:yes:

Broncos Sign Former Patriots Cornerback Marquice Cole Ahead of AFC Championship Game

The Indianapolis Colts pulled a trick out of Bill Belichick‘s playbook by signing wide receiver Deion Branch last week. It didn’t work out so well. The Denver Broncos are hoping for better results with the same move this week. The Broncos signed former New England Patriots cornerback Marquice Cole on Tuesday. The signing comes just one day after Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. was diagnosed with a torn ACL. Cole, 30, has spent most of the last two seasons with the Patriots, recording 32 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception in 27 games with the team. He served primarily on special teams while filling in as depth in the secondary in 13 games this season. After being released and re-signed multiple times by the Patriots this season, Cole was finally released for the final time on Dec. 26 ahead of the Patriots’ season finale against the Buffalo Bills. The Broncos’ secondary stymied Philip Rivers during the first half of their divisional round matchup with the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, but the second half was a very different story. Without Harris Jr., who suffered an injury in the third quarter, Rivers torched the Broncos late in the game, including two fourth-quarter touchdown passes to wide receiver Keenan Allen. Cole likely won’t fix the Broncos’ secondary deficiencies, but he will at least provide some depth to a defense desperately in need of some.
