Obviously a republican plant. 36 posts?
LS, my response is twofold, first off these type threads have been popping up only recently on BGOL. Thoughtone's assesment is correct. These lurkers have been coming out of the cracks since Obama emerged as a frontrunner for the presidency and they can't stand it.
Secondly our feelings and opinions on abortion is not the agenda of the original poster. This thread was to assess political views to determine republican strenghts among blacks, nothing else. Besides who starts a thread and never bothers to comment for over 6 hours? So yeah when I see crap like this I can wish people like this were aborted. Only 36 post since Aug 17, 2005.
ok baby. I was just a little surprised. You aren't usually this rough. Thank you for your explanation hun. I appreciate it.

There are those who say they're against abortion yet those same people won't even donate a single dollar to charities that help struggling mother's.
It's cool but I do believe in a woman's right of choice. There are those who say they're against abortion yet those same people won't even donate a single dollar to charities that help struggling mother's. Just because a woman makes a mistake or is possibly raped shouldn't mean she has to live with that the rest of her life. Although the act itself does become emotional baggage that she carries the rest of her life but its not a financial burden.
I am however sick of posters such as this and yes they will bring out my dark side.

I believe that it should be the choice of the couple and not the gov't. If the couple decides that at that moment in their lives they can't take care of a child then they should have the option to abort. The gov't gets mad when families have 7 and 8 kids and ask for support but then when people try to prevent it from happenin they dont want them to![]()
I do feel you on the point regarding freedom of choice. To each their own. I do NOT judge those who have made that choice to abort but its not something that I personally advocate.

Liberals (mostly pro abortion) don't give to charity as much as right wing christians. They give the most, regardless of income level. I don't know where you get the idea that they don't give to charity for these women. And even if they don't, it's ompletely irrelevant. They're against it on the grounds that they beleive it's immoral. Whether it's difficult or not is completely beside the point.
And while it's sad that a woman who is raped can become pregnant and it's horrible to have to deal with that, it has nothing to do with the child conceived. He/she did nothing wrong. The misdeeds of a parent have nothing to do with a person being allowed to live or die. Besides, most women who have abortions do so because having a baby is inconvenient. A very small percentage has them for rape or incest or any of the other reasons the abortionettes like to talk about. It's mostly used by lazy women as birth control.
If my knowledge of history is correct one of the reasons the first settlers came to this land was to get away from their oppressive government. The principle of separation of church and state led them here. IMO the principle extends into the bedrooms of all citizens. Where the hell does some (so-called) elected offical get off telling women what to do with their bodies.
The decision on Roe vs. Wade was no mistake as it was determined by the Supreme Court. But now these hand picked puppet judges of Bush junior and senior threaten to turn this country back to the 1950s when women electing to have an abortion were literally risking their lives.
The government does not belong in our homes.

Look it is a simple problem to solve. Increase the cost of abortion to $50000.00 dollars from each parent for every termination where there is no evidence of rape or risk of the mother's health.
I can guarantee you then that you will see people actually making sure then that they are adequately protected before they step into the saddle to ride.![]()
This comment is SSOOOOOO reckless!!! It won't change anything.. it'll deter some people, but all it's going to lead to is women getting more illegal abortions, and causing more health problems. 50,000 is ridiculous, how about 1000? People do need to be held accountable for their actions.. but it is THEIR choice to abort. Think about it, without abortion so many would be so worse off, children and parents. Our can't population at the growth rate right now, imagine if abortion wasn't a viable option?
