Has it ever occurred to you that one of the reasons we tend to vote for democratic candidates is because the individual candidates (or at least the ones the voter is most interested in) more closely shares the voters' POV, as he/she sees it? Sure, we do a lot of straight ticket voting, but isn't that caused, <u>in</u> <u>part</u>, by support for another candidate?
BTW, I'm not arguing in support of the democratic party, or for any party, as a matter of fact. What I'm trying to get at, however, is WHY we do some things, how we might do things differently/better; and to take a look at the some of the myths: one of them being, that we support the democratic party "BLINDLY". I don't think its as simple as blindly.

Honestly Bro, I know some broke republicans and, unfortunately, they are Black. I also know some white ones too who could use some dough, right now. JB, it is OUR responsibility to spread black historical knowledge and discuss sensitive issues privately. Issues such as abortion are sensitive and should be dealth with, there is funding available, grants. It simply takes initiative on the part of one man or woman to form a non profit organization...

Nearly, a couple years ago, I had thought about forming a non profit called Billion Black Babies the aim to check in on and support the children specifically, but with the imput of parents.

Starting off locally, possibly thru networking expand the program to other localities, then unite. Apply for grants for starters, then by attending local functions & events, ask for help. The aim would be to monitor the lives of the young ones till they are older, work the willing back into the program. The program would involve development of blacks with an aim towards afrocenticity.
