WHOA – A RAPPER NAMED BIG KOON?

WOW. This is 2008 and there is a real rapper named Big Koon. Well, I am going to Keep it real, I knew about Big Koon for a few years now. My homey Julia Beverly of Ozone magazine had Koon in her mag. I didn’t understand then and I don’t understand now – a rapper named Big Koon. Anyway, the rapper is garnering protests at Florida A&M for that name and the flyers posted with “Koon” on it. More on this later. All I can say is that that’s a terrible name.
