A collection of #ADOS Tweets from @KingTahara that no one cares about

They've already gone in on me.

I've been trying to get answers for a while now.

Crickets. I get tweeted at by King, or called some type of nonsensical name by Soul.

I have been told to go to the site. All of the answers I seek are there. They weren't.

I've also been told to reach out to the "leaders".

Apparently they are super accessible.

I've been fairly quiet because reaching for answers from this lot is wasted time.

I only replied because I don't like the thought of someone saying that myself and those that look like me are bottom caste of some imaginary caste system.

Yes, things for black Americans can improve. Understatement of the century I know.

But to say we are below anybody is BS. What are white people kings, and we are peasants?

And free shit supposed to put us on their level? Deserved as it may be.

That's BS. There's more of them & they have a massive headstart. But we have so many smart brothers & sisters.

That gap is closing & they are scared. Which is why trump is president.
Wait, just realized you actually quoted my response, which answered your questions, to Watcher.
Yeah you're not that intelligent/and or not liking how they make YOU FEEL.

Once again, we are fact based.
Save your emotions for the oxygen network.

Save your emotions for the oxygen network.

Everything is feelings, emotions, fear mongering, and guilt shaming with the anti-ADOS. No data, no historical references (unless they want to draw a comparison to immigration), no nothing. :smh:

Of course the goal is real action (tangibles son).
Sort of fucked up that Black people "gotta take over the govt." To get shit specific for us when no one else does...
We aren't scared of your scare tactics. As the bottom caste, we have nothing else they can take from us. We'll just withdraw from your political process as it does little to nothing for us as it stands anyway.
If want to view reality as scare tactics whatever.

Seems like you all have already withdrawn since there isn’t realistic goals behind the talk. Doing as much collateral damage on the way out. No need to pretend.

This is where your whole plan fails. Republicans are working to put in place things that will block your agenda 100% for 40 years no matter when you decide to get off your asses and do s0mething.

you let Trump get 4 more years. the supreme court will be 7-3 conservative AT LEAST and even if you get everything you want, have the entire house, senate, and president vote for reparations, the supreme court will say "lol no. now go sit your ass down an go back to sleep"

and not even just the supreme court. trump is packing all of the courts with young right wing judges with life time appoinments.

so you are basically checkmating yourself.

now Queen T will probably respond to my post with some shit I won't read. I haven't read any response of his in weeks.

Failing to read his responses and posts is part of your problem. There is a wealth of information in them concerning the variety of issues we are discussing in the ADOS movement. Now, if you simply dislike Twitter as a format, then I understand, because I don't like Twitter's layout at all.

I will address the rest of your post in my response to Camille below.

Ok so a few questions: are we able to get reparations without legislation being passed? If so how?

If not, say ADOS sits out the election, votes GOP or whatever, dems lose and the GOP maintains power. BGOL ADOS have already said lobbying the GOP is out, so does the agenda sit idly by until enough dems get power again?

Before you answer let's see if we can agree on recent history so we can theorize how this plays out.

Obama got elected and had a slim majority for about 2 years. During this time he lost his shine. Dailykos was practically a hate site against him. White liberals, mad about him not moving fast enough on LGBT and not getting their wishlist with the ACA and other issues, decided to sit out to teach him a lesson. Black folks didn't come out as he wasn't on the ballot and white racists mad about a black man in the white house showed up and showed out en masse. We lost everything state level and in Congress.

Now the GOP doesn't just sit idly by when they get a bit of power. They wanted to make black turnout ineffective for all time. While we were out of power and the voting rights act was gutted by the scotus, GOP led areas suppressed and gerrymandered to their hearts content. Dems can win 90% of the vote, and only 10% of the seats. (That's an exaggeration but the point is our voting power was greatly diminished and we have to win by an overwhelming margin just to barely stay on the playing field.) Some maps got overturned but with the scotus ruling this will happen less and less. See this link also on ways they consolidate power: https://m.dailykos.com/stories/1862658

So 8 years later we are just now picking up seats at the state level and during all this time any and all progressive agendas have stalled. All those liberals who wanted to teach Obama a lesson have been fighting tooth and nail to hold on to what he got passed and thanks to the GOP sabotage, namely Marco Rubio screwing over risk corridors, health care plan cost doubled.

So, if we do this again, and dem power is reduced further, the cycle continues. In addition we now have a open white supremacist in the WH stirring the racial resentment pot, so we have no idea how the electorate is going to pan out.

So what is the plan, to get legislation passed, from a group that gets rewarded by their base for anti black rhetoric and and passing any law that hurts us and denying anything that helps us, even if it affects them the same or worse? What makes you think candidates seeking power won't also play to the white vote and refuse to consider or discuss reparations for fear of backlash or loss of votes?

How do you get someone to write legislation, introduce it, whip the votes, get it passed and get it signed with or without dems in power?

I'm looking for actionable plans, not a wishlist and a never ending stream of complaints. Is this something we are really working for, because if not, how is this something more than just creating resentment, causing division, stroking discontent and ceding power?

If this is something we want to see in our lifetimes, can we really afford to let another 10 years pass by while anyone inclined to give you what you want is kept powerless?

If asking how something gets done is a threat, then that means there is no plan. Why should I expend any social media or personal capital I have or donate or whatever?

If I came to you and said I am going to get us a billion dollars and I would like your participation or yout time or your money, wouldn't you want to know about the plan to evaluate it? If I said I'm going to go and tell people I want it, I'm owed it and I'm going to get it and the people I'm telling aren't even the ones who can give it to me, would you still join me? A goal without a plan is just wishful thinking.

I'll tell you now, health care and other issues take priority for me over reparations. If dems get power again, I want healthcare secure first.

I've been trying to be convinced that the idea of reparations and amplifying the message is something I should put time and energy into but the loudest mouthpieces are telling me I'm too stupid to understand and have failed repeatedly to present any concrete steps. I'm practical. If y'all pull this off, I get paid anyway. All I see is the stirring up of discontent with no outlet other than to lash out at others so there is no reason for me to join in and keep myself angry and worked up for no reason.

That is Trumps playbook with his white supporters. Make them feel superior but give them a target to go after for all their woes when they feel their lives aren't shit. British actors can't get reparations for you, attacking them is a distraction. Unless you are going after a director lobbying for a film on reparations, those targets are other distractions. Anything not lobbying the lawmakers or working toward getting the ones in power who will support this is a distraction. Eyes everywhere but on the ball. There are legit advocates for reparations out there, I'm just not convinced y'all are hooked up with them.

I know and understand the attitudes Africans and immigrants have toward us and vice versa. I also understand that it has been shaped by white supremacy. We have bought into the stereotypes and white propaganda about each other. The solution isn't more distance, it's coming together to learn about each other.

Once more, a lot to address here. First of all, I don't think you thoroughly read my first response to you. In particular, where I explicitly stated:

".... the general idea is to LEVERAGE our votes. In primaries and the general election. If a candidate hasn't presented an agenda that has real-world benefits specifically for Black Americans, then why should we vote for said candidate?
I also said:

This is a key difference between those of you who are pro-Dem and those of us who are pro-ADOS. We think the Leftist/Dem agenda is just as vested in marginalizing and destroying Black America as the GOP is. I can't stress this enough. They are just as dangerous to us as the GOP!!

For whatever reasons, you do not want to address these issues. So what if the Supreme Court become 7-3? Or the GOP gerrymanders its ass off? What tangible benefits has blindly voting Democratic achieved for us? Please read the articles below. All are from left-leaning institutions, so please don't come at me with some "Russian bot" or "Russian propaganda" talk. And these are stats. Hard numbers.
Shit hasn't improved for us as a group in 50 years, and in some cases, shit is worse. In the case of mass incarceration, Democrats were contributors to or the architects of it, especially the Clintons and Biden. Yet one is now a leading contender for president and we should get behind him, huh? And another, Kamala Harris, has a long prosecutorial history of locking black people up in the so-called "liberal" city of San Francisco. And speaking of San Fran, since Pelosi is from there as well, do you want to have a conversation about the gentrification and cost of living in that city? How about NYC or the former "chocolate city" of Washington DC? These are all overwhelmingly liberal cities. Let's talk about how many black residents have been forced to leave.

Do you see my point here? As it currently stands, voting and supporting Democrats in the way we currently do is not benefitting us in the least. You are saying "while we were out of power" and "we started picking up seats" and I'm telling there ain't no WE here!! Current progressive Democratic politics is not advancing the interests of the native Black American a.k.a. ADOS population!! Now, if you're gay or a feminist or an immigrant or pro-abortion , then perhaps you're part of that "we". And the only way these other groups are able to push their agendas is with the support of the black vote. Show me what we're getting out of this. Do some research on what it means to be a "captured electorate". Start here: Black Voters Are So Loyal That Their Issues Get Ignored

Now, when it comes to the specific legislative process of pushing reparations, I prefer to follow Professor William "Sandy" Darity's train of thought: Most of anti-ADOS people on this board have Colin-itis, but I have faith you at least will read that.

I don't expect reparations to happen overnight, and they may not ever happen, but I still have a vested interest and desire in seeing an ADOS-specific social and political orientation and movement. You call this "stirring up discontent" as if everything was fine and dandy before we started talking about these issues. This shit has been simmering for awhile, in particular as it pertains to immigrants in general and black immigrants in particular. But Barack Obama, the "first African-American president" :rolleyes2: really brought this to a head. And many of us began looking at what he did, and what he didn't do, and we began assessing his background. And we started having open conversations about things we see going on in Hollywood, and the workplace, and in higher education, as we encountered these immigrants. And now that Trump has put a bull's eye on them, we have turned a critical eye on them as well.

I attended this event at the Economic Policy Institute in DC last week. Professor Mehrsa Baradaran was discussing her book "The Color of Money: Black Banks and the Racial Wealth Gap". Very informative book and her presentation was a great overview of it. But in particular, I want you to check the 1:18:00 mark. Listen to what the raghead ask and then listen to how she politely responds. Then watch what he does. This is why I talk about turning a critical eye on them.

How can any sane person refute any of this.
(But they will lol)

I'm literally going to copy and paste this message to any and all people who are questioning ADOS and why we are who we are.

It's been pointed out several times that this whole movement was created by white supremacist as a tool to suppress black votes. If dudes still follow it after that, there's no logic you're going to provide that will change their minds.

Which white supremacists created the ADOS movement?

Why do you keep saying bottom caste?

I'm not bottom of anybody. Nobody is above me.

Yall the one saying we serve whitey, yet you're the one saying the better than you.

That's some defeatist nonsense.

Who the fuck says they at the bottom, so inaction will change the circumstance?

Once again. This movement is lead by economists, educators, and lawyers. We aren't emotional and lead by good feelings (nor bad). Every wealth, education, and employment metric sees my people at the bottom.
Our movement seeks to solve and remedy this.

Your way isnt working. So fall back and respect the movement.

This is why your dumb ass gets dissed. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!

Now I could reference the following books, all of which are serious academic works:
  1. Faces At The Bottom Of The Well: The Permanence Of Racism
  2. American Apartheid: Segregation and the Making of the Underclass
  3. The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism
  4. The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America
  5. The Color of Money: Black Banks and the Racial Wealth Gap
All demonstrate how a lack of wealth and the inaccessibility to capital were practically built into native Black American life with an almost surgical precision. Now what is a caste system? A caste system is a closed social stratification system in which people inherit their position and experience little mobility. And if you were to study of the data and read the above books, you would understand that we have been economically locked into a bottom caste. But guess what? You and I both know that you won't read a single word of any of them, nor will you read the Cliff's Notes, nor would a you watch a video summary. Because you don't give a fuck and you're asking dumb-ass questions just to be asking and distracting. The fact that you said "free shit" tells us everything we need to know about your mentality.

And then you say "that gap is closing" when all data shows that the exact opposite is occurring?

Soul on Ice was being a gentleman when he told you to fall back and respect the movement. I say you just need to shut the fuck up and get out of the thread.

Some of these ADOS haters use to be like :dunno: or "you don't understand how Government works" when President Obama looked the other way as race soldiers and cac citizens killed unarmed ADOS and ADOS kids with impunity his last term. As long as a light skinned black man was in the White House, it was "oh well, theres nothing he can do. Vote Democrat harder next time".

Pay attention to the grieving, sympathy, and concern the ADOS haters show these mass killings in Texas and Ohio. And they will blame Trump totally for it happening and lack of response. None of that "you dont know how Government works" crap or "what can he do about it" talk.

They will show far more concern for the non black victims of these white nationalist then the millions of blacks slaughtered and oppressed by white nationalist thru out this country's history. :smh:

Funny thing is these WS killers are standing up for what they believe in, even if it means the death of innocent people they don't care. The El Paso killer literally wrote a WS manifesto filled with everything we knew if you spend any time online and on social media about White people and what happens when they don't get the attention and privilege they need. They're no conversations, nothing, just kill your ass and keep it moving.

On the flipside with got this liberal bougie ass niggas literally getting excited a black man is a judge or has another high profile position and when they get fired due to obvious racial reasons they wanna "complain or write letters" or whatever, all they can do is complain and bitch and moan, begging cacs for a job, some chick gets a degree, can't get a job, she complains and here comes Huffington Post to exploit this for views "Educated black women can't get jobs" or "Why can't educated black women find love"?

So far deep up cac ass, they see no value in their people.

Firstly, "Go in on me." was a joke.

You can't go in on me with tweets division.

"Caste System" implies that because I was born poor, I'm going to grow up to be poor.

Which is BS. Just because the system is rigged doesn't mean you can't reach the same heights as others.

If white people wasn't threatened by the progress we made as a people, why is trump the president?

Free shit was meant to describe what so many of people think reparations is.

What type of reparations could ADOS receive to remove this wealth gap that in your opinion is so insurmountable?

Has ADOS agreed on what reparations would be? Free education? Money? Tax break? Get out of jail free card?

I don't need to read a book to know this country is racist.

But what I have read a book about & it's how this country's government works.

And if Democrat & Republican were the same as so many put it, ADOS would be throwing half-truths at the Republicans.

I keep hearing about Democrats focusing on immigrants & gays. But gays are made up of whites who vote.

Last I check white people are the majority in this country. If getting elected is your goal why would you not focus on them.

And probably in 10 years Hispanics will be the majority at this rate. Again you can't make changes from the couch.

So since gays & lesbians are made up of all races, white included not helping them would be career suicide for a politician.

With all that said, 13% of the population in this country is black. What's the percentage of ADOS?

How the heck are you going to get anything passed in this country without allies?

I'll get out of the way when you all get a clue & a direction.

So far deep up cac ass, they see no value in their people.

Basically, they are literally in this thread tag teaming with CACs like "gutsdabeast" why we shouldnt get reparations and should focus on "stopping Trump". Some literally threw the entire ADOS community under the bus in 2016 and blamed us for Hillary Rodham Clinton sucking as a Presidential candidate. :smh:

I laugh at you calling me a CAC. When you're the one saying CACs are your daddies.

I'm not the one with the name King or Soul claiming to be somebodies step stool. You're their bottom bitch.

And you're taking your ball (votes) into the corner until you get what you want.

Republicans don't care about a black ball. They want you in the corner.

And you're giving them exactly what they want.

Not me. This country is bigger than me. Real lives are on the line. And the future of this country.

There are people with pre-existing medical conditions that can lose their insurance depending on the choices of upcoming elections.

So your in here fighting the good fight for them. And who you calling a "bottom bitch" in here campaigning for Democrats. What position do you hold in the party? What salary does the DNC pay you? You working for them for free. Why would we listen to anything from you?

If you were serious about stopping Trump, you wouldnt be on a black porn board that is overwhelmingly Democrat, youd go where Republican cacs dwell. You wont though cuz you pussy just like the rest of the party. Trump is gonna end your health coverage.

BGOL used to have black people here, now we got a bunch of liberal comic book geeks. :smh:

Call it what you want, what solution have you put forth short of sitting on your hands as the world burns?

Tweets don't accomplish anything of significance.

Stricter gun control laws are a liberal agenda. How many lives could be saved?

But Democrat & Republican are the same.

I don't work for the DNC. Salary is $0.

My bank account has swelled into excess of 6 figures since trump has been president.

Was it because of him? Hell no. It was because of me. But I say that because I'm in a position regardless of the political landscape, I'll be fine.

Short of being set-up, I'm good. But there are others who aren't in the same position that need assistance.

I base my decisions on giving everyone a chance, not just myself.

So while you say, "Fuck those people living in cages like cattle." I say, "Fuck you for not having empathy for those people stuck like animals."

How many whites you convinced not to vote for Trump?

If you so worried make a "border" thread and see if it reaches 43 pages here on BGOL. Ill even promise not to interfere and muddy the waters like youre attempting to do. Shit might get 2 pages.

This is the ADOS thread, so we discuss ADOS issues here

How many whites have you convinced to care to about "tangibles"?

As far as I'm aware, whites are over 70% of the population in this country.

Aint nothing getting passed without them. Unless the plan is to start a new government.

Is ADOS appealing to Wyoming, Dakotas, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah, Montana?

You know those white ass states that wield as much power as a more diverse state like California.

Firstly, "Go in on me." was a joke.

You can't go in on me with tweets division.

"Caste System" implies that because I was born poor, I'm going to grow up to be poor.

First of all, learn how to construct a paragraph. I gave you an Oxford definition of "caste system." I can show you EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE of how the property values of a neighborhood drop when the black population rises above 10% without any other extenuating factors present.

I could encourage you to read this article about how even black boys born and raised in the middle-class tend to fall into poverty.

You won't read it anyway and you won't educate yourself about anything.

Which is BS. Just because the system is rigged doesn't mean you can't reach the same heights as others.

If white people wasn't threatened by the progress we made as a people, why is trump the president?

Show me the progress that we have made!!! I want real data and stats. You think Obama getting elected was progress for US?

Free shit was meant to describe what so many of people think reparations is.

No, "free shit" is what YOU think reparations is, which is why you said it. It's clear you're one of those "I-got-mine-so-the-rest-of-these-niggas-need-get-theirs-on-their-own" types.

What type of reparations could ADOS receive to remove this wealth gap that in your opinion is so insurmountable?

Has ADOS agreed on what reparations would be? Free education? Money? Tax break? Get out of jail free card?

Motherfucker, did I not tell you that William "Sandy" Darity, a Duke University professor, is the leading economist and researcher in this area, and if you were to read his works, or even listen/read his interviews, your questions will be answered.

But you don't want answers. You want to foment confusion and ignorance.

I don't need to read a book to know this country is racist.

I doubt you've ever read a book in your life beyond "The Cat in the Hat", and that was probably a tough read. You wouldn't be saying such stupidity if you had any understanding of these issues

@Autobot8655 Please shoot me!!:gun05: Why am I debating this ignorant fool? Why am I answering questions that I have answered previously?

I know bruh. You are doing this because you want to help our people.

Some are sincere, but many are trolling.

At this point it may be best to direct them to other websites or twitter accounts for questions.

We can only hope that more can get on board though.
