I know your game, but it's more so the lack of diversity to more than just seeing ourselves in music as playas or thugs. Exposure to various types of music helps, in a broader sense, diversity in general helps mold our youth. We can have our Rick Ross' and Keef Chiefs or whatever, but we no longer have that exposure of guys like De La or Jimi Hendrix and so on to balance it all out.​

Smart people like you and me, LBOP, we can watch the show, place ourselves as a fly on the wall of the drama and when it goes off we go back to real life. actually i am. Brothas told me they go to sleep listening to rap and wake up with it. Its a generational issue that our community won't address. Rap has poisoned many of our folks. We take rap literally and start acting it out ie east baltimore, inner city chicago , st.louis etc etc. Making a fast buck is championed over getting your education in many circles. Dysfunctional families creating a new life without the proper base ie education in place, home in place, parents committed to each other and raising the life they created.
