I dont know who is worse the parent or the counselor.
I wish I would buy either of my boys that shit for their mouths. After all the money I pay for dental insurance to keep their teeth straight and white? That dayum 500.00 could have went toward something like I dont know....A savings bond or even savings account..Something to teach him about life, making smart choices and earning interest...Meaning he could have invested in his future
One thing is for sure instead of embedding fucking trends in his sons head, he should have embedded some common sense. There is no way neither of my boys (or even my daughter) would let any one put their nasty as hands in their mouth...And start yanking too? Hell I would take a step to say legally she should loose her job....Having said all of that, if I was the mother of the little boy. As much as I myself do NOT comprehend why you would buy a child a "grill" as a good grades gift,one thing has nothing to do with the other.
If there was a problem with it and it was against some sort of school policy then it should have been directed immediately to the parents attention.
There is no way that any teacher/educator should be putting their hands down that child's mouth, no matter how overworked,underpaid they may be. You should still carry some code of ethics.

No one ripped anything out. The counselor thought it was some fake-ass shit and apparently tried to dislodge it, which obviously created some discomfort.
If a child has a dangerous object in his mouth, would you expect a teacher to reach in and yank it out, or just let the kid choke to death?
