49ers

Although it didn't end like we wanted, the team showed a ton of fight making it to the playoffs and getting on the verge of a Superbowl. Hopefully the team can make some upgrades in the secondary and Trey can stabilize the qb position for us. If we can get healthy and keep our key players healthy, we should be back stronger next year.

Health is the key. We have a Super Bowl contending team. Had it not been for injuries we would have been in the mix last season. Injuries were a part of our set back earlier this season.

If we can rock the 2022 season with a healthy RB core (imagine if they resign Mostert and pair him with Mitchell :eek2:), along with the rest of our roster (which is tight), then we'll be contending again.

Lance will certainly bring new things under center. We know #10 hit his ceiling and we need more than that. Just in the small sample size this season we've seen how Lance can let us run our offense the way its truly meant to be run.

It seemed like Mitchell was a bit slower towards the final games. I know he was injured and barely practicing.
Would of loved to mix In Sermon as a change of pace back..

Mitchell was dealing with a knee injury most of the season. Shanny wouldn't split carries and kind of ran the young man into the ground. He was looking good yesterday though.

I'd definitely work Sermon and whoever else we have into the mix. Keep pounding. Our guys have speed and the ability to break tackles.

Shanahan loves to stick with his players huh? Right or wrong. Injured or healthy I see...

John Lynch should be on the with Tampa, Pittsburgh, NY Giants, Washington, etc discussing Jimmy G. Pump his fake record as a starter and get us a pick or two.

LOL, yeah fam, I'm hoping we can get a mid round pick for Jimmy
Realistically maybe like a 4th rounder or a 5th rounder
Then use that extra money to re-sign some of our guys, like DJ Jones, Lakin Tomlinson, possibly Tartt, possibly Arden Key, etc, etc

Yeah man. Get something instead of nothing. Seeing as how there are teams out there that need a QB Lynch can definitely work some type of deal.

Dee Ford is definitely gone. He'll get cut and that will save us a bunch of money also. With the cap going up we'll have enough to sign our key guys. Lynch loves to keep the team together so DJ Jones, Tomlinson, etc will definitely get resigned.

If we can resign Tarrtt and Mostert to numbers they are currently making I would do it for depth. Perhaps 1 year deals to protect ourselves and evaluate long-term replacements.

I'm still looking for a real cover safety in the draft though. A guy with range who can protect the backend. It's what we're really missing in the defense.

I agree with you!!..I been saying that our secondary is the weakness of our team...Ward and Tartt been ours starting safeties for years now and to me they ain't big plays Safeties that we need..They both can't cover and not ball hungry to go get INT's...I think both of them gotta go and we need to find or bring in better Safeties!!...

Don't like this shit whatsoever

Nah fam, don't believe Solomon Wilcots
He doesn't know shit about our team
Wilcots just wants to play the race card

First off Kittle was already a damn good TE, from day 1
Jon Embree didn't do much of anything
But apparently Embree was promoted to "assistant head coach"
And I guess things didn't work out
So the team wanted to demote him back to just TE coach
But that would've meant a 60% pay decrease
So of course he said fuck that
Since they didn't want him as assistant head coach anymore
And he was not willing to go back to TE coach...they basically had to fire him

To be honest, I think they probably want to promote Mike McDaniel to assistant head coach
Pay McDaniel more money to get him to stay with the team as OC
Because he's been getting a few interviews already

He could be fishing for views but he really didn't lie tho..

The timing couldn't be worst with what's going on.

I wonder if this means that Mike McDaniel is leaving for a head coaching position? :(
I believe McDaniel was the main one who scripted all the running plays :dunno:
Yeah, that's what i was thinking.

Reading that it also could mean Tyrod Taylor coming over as a backup QB. I like that

Special teams has been trash for years
The only game special teams helped us win, was the Packers playoff game
He's Shannahan's boy
So they probably let Hightower look for another job before firing him
Glad he's gone, good riddance.....

Hold up what??

Damn, I just saw the news
Welp looks like it's official now, he's going to Miami !!! :(

But yeah, we get a 3rd round pick for McDaniel
The same thing happened when Robert Salah left us for the Jets job
The NFL has a some new rule in place
That when a minority candidate leaves for a head coaching position
The NFL awards us with a draft pick
