I've notice about the playcalling this year and last year are different from the years the team was good...does the team do the read option,because I've notice it's been missing,since last year and I'm wondering,if the GM and owner told Harbaugh and the new coach not to do it


I find it weird,since it was the reason the read option made that offense a threat and allowed Kap to deadly runner...

the read option is dead on this team because teams over play kap for it every single time AND the line is ass

kap would kill it in kubiak's system with proper zone blocking running and play action passes and being under center

that is where he's at his best.

When has benching a QB ever worked for the team, and the QB that got benched (where he's later gone on and been successful for said team)? All that get your head right, get refocused stuff sounds good on paper, but I can't remember the last time thats worked. I wouldnt be surprised if Kaep is gone after this season. So I would not be surprised if he is better than Kap at the short throws, quick slants, screens, etc
I guess they will probably roll him out the pocket, like they did in the preseason

I'm not going to shit on Kap, or jump to conclusions..... just yet
I'll just say this though...
There are a few things that Gabbert does well & there are a few things that Kap does well

Like I said Gabbert has a quicker release, gets the ball out quicker before the rush
Also Kap has a stronger arm, but all that muscle I think might be slowing his delivery/motion a little
Gabbert is better for the short stuff

Right now Gabbert is playing with "house money'
Teams have not yet schemed for him specifically
Dude doesn't have any game tape out
Also the Falcons have a weak pass rush & weak overall defense
So again even though Gabbert is looking decent, you have to take this with a grain of salt
But he's playing just like he did in the preseason

If Gabbert is still looking good after 5+ games then.... Kap might have a problem
