Also, shout out to DB Chris Culliver for coming back from injury and play well this year..:yes:

Damn, i hope we can get our offense back on track and get things rolling again for next year!!..

we will

Did he have just a little extra oomph today before the game when you guys were hitting shoulders and pads before the game? You and coach.

"Yeah, we wanted to make sure today was a good one, that we went out the right way. We knew this was a possibility and we wanted to make sure we laid it all out on the line for coach."

What did it mean for you to have the kind of game that you had today? To send him out a winner?

"It meant a lot. Especially that this could be my last year and it's his last year. I respect him a whole lot and wanted to finish it right for him. I wanted to finish it right for my fans who've been with me since I was 21 when I first got here. They've been great fans. They've been down with us. Even though this year was a disappointing year, they were still here. I just wanted to finish right. If I'm not here, I wanted to show my fans the way a 49er is supposed to play."

Do you even understand what happened? We're on the outside looking in. He's been a very successful coach. I don't understand what's going on. Do the players? Do you?

"No. But, we don't make those decisions. So, you're asking the wrong guy about that. If it was my decision he would be here. But, obviously not. It's not my decision."

You said you re-signed because of him. What was it about his coaching style that made you re-sign?

"Me and him had a connection. I just liked the way that he goes about his business. The same way that I do. No nonsense type guy. Loves to win. Loves to compete. You see it in the way that he comes to work every day. The guy loves the game of football. I believe if he still could play he would probably be out there. You can see that. So, that had a lot to do with, like I said, me signing back here."

Would you miss him if he left?

"I would definitely miss him. He's a great coach. He's my coach."

What is your hope for Harbaugh?

"Whereever he goes, I wish him the best of luck. It just sucks that we couldn't keep him here. It's a business."

interesting...
but in this offense he would never play and be relegated to decoy routes when he wa finally activated in week 13 :smh:

yea but we'd have him right now for another 3 years and a new coach to look at him and use the talent.

the next coach is going to come here and be like why in the fuck didn't you guys use all these people?

You know what!1..i was thinkin the same thing!!..Mike Holmgren will be a nice fit and also, the West coast offense will be a good offense for us!!..

perfect offense. kap has run it at times and looked spectacular. holmgren coached up montana, young, favre, got weak ass hassleback to 3 pro bowls
kap is ready to be a top qb right now.

Notice how the Cards started off the game with two conservative running plays followed by a third and long pass attempt, notice how fired up that play calling got the Panthers, and how it may have led to them pressing on the punt causing a short kick... A good team would have capitalized more than a fg, but you get the point...
This is the same shit we do in just about every big game... It seems like Habs fails to understand how poor play calling can lead to sloppy/passive play of the filed and how the emotional aspect of the game (momentum) requires more than just a good pep rally speech..

Another three and out with conservative plays now the Panthers get even more fired up, play more loser and become more daring and now the Cards are down by 10... Again this is a typical start to our playoffs games... I even called this shit before the score was big...
Now the Cards are going to have to scrap that dumb ass game plan and start making wise decisions... The difference is sb winning teams often start off playing smart, not waiting until they get in a hole to start playing smart ball...

I have an inkling that we'll go with a mid level whos still young like McDaniels or Gase.
Cant see a defensive coach hiring, nor a retread like Holmgren and Shanny.

Shanny is actually in the bay area right now lol.

I just want someone to utilize all the talent and for people to stop the bullshit with Kap.

Dude is just as good as any of the young qb's that's playing right now and has proven it time and time again.

he always comes up big and is just as good if not better than all of these dudes with pre snap and post snap pocket presence and everything else.

If Shanahan becomes the coach I think it will help Kap,but don't be shocked,if he drafts a quarterback, because he usual like his guy.....also better hope he keep the defensive coordinator and leaves him alone, because Shanahan has a habit of overruling guys...:smh::smh::smh:

I hope Shanahan learn his lesson in Denver and Washington....

There is no way that we should get rid of one of the BEST young qb's who has PROVEN success in the regular season and on the biggest stage in football.

The notion that if he doesn't have an all pro year next year he'll be gone is the most idiotic thing in the fucking universe.

Also whoever comes our DC is going to be here

and Mike will not have personnel control over this team that is given to the GM it's written in his contract so if Baalke doesn't want whoever the next coach is trying to pick up, then we aren't drafting him.

dont get me wrong, i think he's a fine coach. Just not one of the 49ers top preferred choices. Now if the ones they really want get scooped up or declines then I can see him getting hired.

Well my post was more geared towards Kap and the disrespect he receives.

Cam threw a pick fumbled and shit and they blew out the cardinals.

It would be nice if Kap could not have to do everything in a playoff game in order for us to win. We haven't won 1 playoff game because he got lifted up and helped out, not 1.

I don't really care for Mike at all. So I'm not pushing for him. just outlining how things would be different decision wise if he were to be hired.

I LOL'ed at Dr Truth making that dumbass thread about Rex Ryan
Anyone who has been closely following the team should know, we are going to either....
1. Promote Vic Fangio to Head Coach
OR
2. Get an OFFENSIVE minded Head Coach

Why hire a defensive guy, when we could just make Fangio the coach & promote Ed Donatell to D-coordinator
Bringing in Rex would undermine Fangio & probably cause him to leave next year

I think we might be targeting the Shanahans
I just saw on espn that Kyle doesnt like being in Cleveland
Mike Shanahan + Kyle Shanahan, could work
I've also head rumblings about
1. Ravens Gary Kubiak
2. Colts Pep Hamilton
3. Auburn Coach Gus Malzahn

On Thursday we interview Lions DC, Teryl Austin, to satisfy our Rooney Rule requirement
Jed should be narrowing down the search shortly thereafter

:cool::cool::cool:

pick him up in the 2nd round after we get Parker in the 1st round.

I like Dorial Green Beckham, but I don't think he will make it to our pick, in the middle of the 2nd round

I'm calling it now, if we go WR in the 1st, it is going to be....
Ohio State WR Devin Smith

Dude is the explosive deep threat, that we need to stretch the defense
I watched Ohio State's last couple of games
Dude tracks the ball very well
Boxes out defenders & gets in good position to make the catch
Has decent hands
And good body control to make those leaping catches, even in traffic

That new 3rd string QB Cardale Jones has a stronger arm than JT Barrett
Jones can chuck the ball down field, just like Kap, & give Devin Smith more opportunities to make plays
Check him out in the championship game next week
And he's also going to be at the Senior Bowl

Check out this article about him...

It's looking like another deep receiving class so as long as we hit on the 1st round pick and maybe the 2nd round pick with that specific skill then I'm happy.
no reaches
no trying to be cute
get the best one available that is the consensus best one available not a project a contributor

Hearing Dilfer and Young going to help out too.
Since we've got a new coaching staff the 49ers can begin off season stuff April 6th

He's going to be at this training thing from this weekend all the way until April 4th.

I dare someone question the work ethic of our quarterback. I dare them.

 as long as youre a black QB/person in America youll always be questioned about your work ethic :smh:

:eek::eek:
i stand corrected.
if he kills at the combine he can rise up fast on the big board; see Beckham, Odell

Highest he can be is 3rd wr. Parker and Cooper have the 1st 2 slots on lock.

he's so damn big though, 6'6"

he has some character issues hopefully he slips to the 2nd round and we can scoop him up
