49ers

Hell no, we wont completely run the table
Honestly, I really don't see that happening
We will probably lose 1 or 2 more games before the season ends
12-4 or 11-5 should be good enough to get in the playoffs though

Our O-line has been holding the offense back
Vernon Davis & Michael Crabtree have been very disappointing this season
Our special teams is very average
And our defense is out of sync

Even when we get most of our guys back, in 2 weeks, it still will take some time to get in sync
On top of that.... Harbaugh just said looks like KilGore fractured his leg/ankle
Dude will be out for the season
The rookie Marcus Martin isn't good enough or ready to start yet
Sooo who's going to play center
Our O-line was bad enough as it is, KilGore was actually one of the bright spots

You can't really say the Cards will crash & burn
I actually think they are a solid team
Shit they almost made the playoffs last season
Both the Cards & Seahawks had their bye week really early, so I'm hoping they get tired down the stretch while we get hot
But again that's no guarantee

o line yes due to health.
special teams is not average they have bubby and osgood out there just like you wanted and the coverage unit has tightened all the way up correct? yup. defense isn't out of sync they were simply down too many players. everybody coming back knows the scheme. and everybody coming back knows how to play with each other they're just not out there. the ones out there now with their 1st game experience are the ones out of sync... we've had some stellar performances let's not play this defense after 1 night down half of it.

While kilgore has been excellent martin is the future and if not for an ankle injury probably would have overtaken him. he's younger meaner and stronger than him and he already came from an offense with the same system all signs point to him knowing all of the calls plus we depend on the guard to make most of them in this offense.

you can say they will when they get ready to play a stretch against some good teams and not just a good team here then tomato cans for a couple weeks in a row.

seahwaks are who they are there are no reinforcements coming for them.

cards have carson palmer, better believe if we faced carson in week 3 we would have had a w. they barely beat the raiders today and that's because of palmer.

things are way brighter than you're saying.

get that offensive line fixed completely

i think our best line will be davis boone marin looney and staley. that line is best run and pass blocking line period.

once the core defense comes back there isn't an adjustment they've been playing together (that front 7) for a couple years now.

also our back 4 especially our safeties have gelled but our corners are going out too much we need both brock and culliver in with cox as the nickel work in some johnson and cook and we're good.

we have simple fixes that can happen and make this team the best in the NFL.

if not for 2 choke jobs we would be 6-1 going into this buy and look at the teams we played.. murderous row nobody had it tougher to start.

Yea I'm not even upset about this loss
Going into the game I knew it would be hard as hell to beat the Broncos, in their place, with all of our injuries

What I was upset about, was when we lost to the Bears & Cards !!!
I am worried about that injury to KilGore though
He was playing pretty well this season, for the most part

After the bye, we should get back....
A healthy/in shape Brock
A healthy Culliver
A healthy Cook (he got injured this game)
A healthy Jimmy Ward (step up rookie)
A healthy Iupati
A healthy/in shape Anthony Davis
A healthy Marcus Martin/or backup center Farrell Dillon

We wont get Aldon Smith or Patrick Willis back until like week 10
Then they can also activate Lattimore around the same time

After that...
Bowman & Dorsey should be ready a few weeks before the playoffs

Our next few games after the bye are...
The Rams again, The Saints, The Giants, The Redskins
We will have to run the table & win all of those to keep pace with the Cardinals & rest of the NFC
There is no guarantee that a wild card will come out of the NFC West
The Cards have the Eagles & then the Cowboys
Hopefully they will lose at least one of those games

We just need to tread water & hopefully not get anymore major injuries

:cool::cool::cool:

Yeah, i feel you on this..i believe once we get healthy and get our players back..we can make a good run and get strong as the end!!

i think the bye week will help us...we just have to regroup and get back focus and healthy ... and hope we can make a run...

i'm not upset neither with this broncos lost..they were a better team and they got us tonight...but we be alright!!..

let's go 49ers!!

First I'd like to say shout out to the lurkers. Glad you guys appreciate that we were smart enough to have our own team thread in the proper section of the board.

We'll run the table in the 2nd half. We'll be getting healthy when it counts.

The Bears & Cardinals game pissed me off. 2 games that were easy W's for us. Even hating ass analyst agreed to that fact.

Last nights game should have been 21-17 at halftime. A close game. The 2nd half should have been a typical Niner dominant half but it just wasn't our night. The execution on offense just wasn't there. But we'll be alright.

Looking at the 2nd half of the schedule I can say we only have 2 road games.
1) Week 11 At the Giants. I'll be in the building and I can tell you there will be a sea of ref there. Giants fans have been selling off their tickets like crazy.

2) Week 14 at Raiders. You know the red jerseys will be deep there.

That leaves at Saints and at Seattle. Both places where we should have won the last time were there. If the damn refs act right we'll be ok.

The only thing that pissed me off is we weren't physical like we should have been with their wr's

don't play zone. press and let lynch get his sacks.

Other than that, I am fine with everything. you cant play the broncos as short handed as we were and expect a w. just like if they were missing the players we were missing and we were healthy they'd have an L on their resume. that's the shining light nobody wants to talk about.

we just played a tough ass schedule without a healthy team. we played the cowboys the eagles the chiefs the bears the cardinals the rams and the broncos

there isn't a cupcake game on that schedule and 2 of those games that we lost we should have easily won.. we were up big and didn't finish.

discouraged or encouraged? We should be encouraged. the teams that played us the 1st half of the season were lucky. in the 2nd they're going to be upset with how we impose our will on both sides of the ball.

you tell me we're going to get our o line back together we're going to miss kilgore but i believe in martin now and in the future

you tell me we're going to get our starting corner's back dorsey back and 3 all pro linebackers back?
lol

no team "missing people" is going to get that level of talent back going forward. these teams are who they are and we're nowhere near what we could be.

just let the cardinals go through their "tough" part of the schedule and rack them palmer l's up

and we go through some cupcake parts and get those w's

^^^I hear ya homie.

Forget the missing people part. You hit the nail on the head. Defensively it was too much zone. Too much cover 3. What made it worst is on their big plays they were in 11 personnel and we were in base defense. When we did match up nickel and play man we stopped them. Not sure why Fangio stuck with the zone so much.

A-A-Ron was showing out last night. Bull rush, speed rush, spin move, he did a little of everything. Dude gets an A+ grade from me. Just imagine whats going to happen when 99-Problems comes back. You run from 1 and get hit by the other.

Report: Aldon Smith may return just a tad earlier: http://49ers.247sports.com/Bolt/49ers-could-get-LB-back-early-32193891

Harbaugh just confirmed Kilgore has a fractured lower leg. Hello Marcus Martin.

Am I the only one who see's how Ridiculously slow Frank Gore is :smh:

i don't believe he's slow..the holes aren't there like it should be!!..our o-line isn't giving those holes and not up to par this season so far...but frank still the dude..once he see a hole and keep giving him the ball, he gets it going!!..:yes:

On top of that, we have to really start rethinking our smash mouth football approach... Number one we are not as deep and tough as we think we are thinking we can just ram the ball down folks throats when they are stacked up and ready for us.. It is getting our players hurt and we are way too think to afford to lose anymore of us..

it's not getting us hurt. we are already hurt and that's why we can't do it.

the line hasn't been healthy the entire year and it wasn't smash mouth related. just injured. we are deep considering we should be 6-1 at the moment and haven't put out a complete roster yet having played almost all of the top teams in the nfl.

I was about the say the same thing. We've played with basically 60% of our line all year. For the remainder of the season we'll only be at 80%. Not many teams would have survived this.

Also 49ers place center Daniel KilGore on IR
Also 49ers sign safety Bubba Ventrone

"Source says CB Chris Cook suffered a torn hamstring in Sunday's game at Denver."

According to my count that leaves only 52 out of 53 roster spots filled...
Sooo... that means ALDON IS COMING BACK !!!

"@RapSheet: In Aldon Smith’s settlement, he could return as early as Monday with good behavior. He has shown that, I’m told. Would be a boost for #49ers"

Like I said before...
The Cardinals are a legit team
They have gotten a few lucky wins, but they still are a dangerous team
They didn't even have Patrick Peterson for the 2nd half of the game

One positive is that we might be fighting the Eagles for a wildcard spot
If we have the same record as them, we hold the tie breaker
Again there is NO GUARANTEE that a wild card will come out of the NFC West this year
Realistically, we can only affford to lose 1, maybe 2 more games AT THE MOST !!!
A 10-6 record may not cut it, to get to the playoffs

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Patrick peterson has been getting toasted all year, we do it regularly.

foles cannot handle the blitz and it's literally the only thing the cardinals do.

and i do not believe in carson palmer. he almost threw the game away on 4 different occasions today and that's not going to change.

absolutely nothing to fear. just need to handle OUR business

DT Tank Carradine :hmm:

Rams Inactives
CB Janoris Jenkins
S Maurice Alexander
S Cody Davis
LB Korey Toomer
OL Brandon Washington

:cool::cool::cool:

Aaron Lynch is a damn BEAST !!!
Ya'll hear me !!!
Already a pass batted down & flushed the QB out the pocket, made him throw the ball away
That first stalled drive was ALL b/c of Lynch !!!

:dance::dance::dance:

Line has to do better. that's the key. just give him time also keep running it..commit to it they'll tire out by the 4th quarter.

defense get off the field on 3rd down.

Good adjustment by roman having kap roll away from the pressure.

good we got the td and not a field goal.

defense come out and do the same thing again.

and then pound that line I think a 3wr set pistol formation would murder the rams just put hyde in there and have him burst it will kill the rams pass rush. right now they're just pinning their ears back so we need to do something that will make them come out of that and play honest defense.

let's keep it going

Cox with the INT
Then Gore fumbled the ball
We got VERY LUCKY on that fumble, the refs helped us out there

Our O-line looks like swiss cheese

:smh::smh::smh:

This has been the problem all seasson now
We will not go far with this horrible O-line
These dudes are just FUCKIN TERRIBLE

:smh::smh::smh:

Yup don't know what it is but we should be up 17-24 to 3 instead of tied up

the defense has done it's job and some.

offensive line giving up 5 sacks and roman not adjusting to the pressure they're bringing in just unforgivable
