49ers

Loyalty

But

we're going top prospect wr not a reach the draft is too deep they're not hidden like in the jenkins draft.. nobody knew an alshon jeffrey would be as good as he is.

just like if we had to draft a safety in that draft it probably would've been a bust as well. '12 draft wasn't good for us.

however

i think we move up and get who we need

then we go db

depending on if we keep whitner

and then center a good one that can come in and start

after that we just trade picks for more picks next year and use the ones we can't trade.

i think Kilgore got next

I would love to see Mike Evans in a 49er uniform. Or Benjamin for that matter.

  Mike Evans definitely...

On a side note , this Harbaugh/Baalke beef is gonna hurt us in the long run and the true culprit is Jed York... If Harbaugh and Trent aren't getting along it's ultimately York's fucking fault  ... The GM works for the owner , not he coach and if he's doing shit that pisses off the coach the owner needs to listen to his fucking coach... They need to give Jim a new long term deal Yesterday..

that's it

just give him a deal for $9 million a year extend him till 2022 and all of this goes away.

pay the man

that's just a show. he's going to get paid man. if he doesn't the fans won't forgive the ownership for it. and this is the last thing they need moving into a new stadium.

he'll get us a ring this year.

And expect the browns to be charged with tampering for doing what they're doing leaking stories commenting on it in the media all in order to drive up the price to make it harder to sign jim.

they've dragged us into their shithole

This whole situation makes me beyond nervous... It's funny because I can remember for yeeeeeeaaaarrrss feeling like a bum because you NEVER hear a fucking PEEP about the Niners in the offseason. I'm talking Erricson, Nolan,Singltary days.. You wouldn't hear SHIT ALL off season about us.. Nothing, no good, no bad, NOTHING.. It's like we didn't exist.. Now everyday we reality TV drama... I bet we end up on Hard Knocks this summer.. :smh:

Can't front, I'd love an inside look at the Niners via hard knocks

What the hell is going on with Jim Harbaugh and the organization.......

nothing.

he wants a new contract.

they should give it to him.

that's all there is to all of this and the reporters having nothing to cover are digging and poking and prodding trying to make names for themselves and get some national shine.

we resigned our o lineman just resigned boldin resigned the secondary coach bout to get the kap deal done

so while everyone is talking mess speculating etc using anonymous reports to get some pub. the organization itself is actually moving along as scheduled.

So there is absolutely NO TRUTH behind the animosity of the Coach and GM?

and the veteran players not liking his style?

I don't understand how he went from a damn genius to a crazed anti-social hothead who is gonna burn out early, doesn't care about defense and he didn't really do anything and all of his early success is based on "other people's" players.

They forgot what he did with Alex and Kap?

He acted JUST like this in college too.

But Bills this is a hella lot of smoke for no fire.

I was wondering, what the hell was going on...The 49ers would be very foolish not to give Harbaugh a new contract...

Thanks for the clearing things up...

I should of known,it was something like this though....:smh:

Any rumors who the 49ers will get through free agency...

Gotta get him the contract to shut everything up. The browns should be fined for tampering. They leaked the talks because they hired a shitty coach and they know it. And Jim talked to the browns because they were supposed to be going after our coordinators and instead pulled a snake move and tried to make a play for HIM. so yes they did get him on the phone...under false pretenses and set this whole shitty mess in motion. So for that I hope the browns lose ETERNALLY

The gm doesn't like the credit Jim gets the gm needs to go if push comes to shove and he feels he's too big for his britches.

It's Jim and then everyone else.

and vets.. we don't even have VETS like that. every core player is in their 20's and will be in their 20's coming up this season other than justin smith. so vets? that term is subjective.

as far as free agency I do not see us doing anything. We don't need to. we have 11 draft picks including 4 in the first 3 rounds. we resigned boldin gonna resign whitner and we have all of those draft picks coming back. ppl forget we lost our starting cb culliver for the whole season. we didn't have tank for the whole season dial got hurt and marcus lattimore coming up.

so

nah no free agents for us. need all that money for draft picks and resigning the studs we do have already.

Boldin
And naturally, he was asked about the rumored Jim Harbaugh locker room issues.

Boldin said he normally doesn't pay much attention to sports media during the offseason, but he heard about the Harbaugh stuff yesterday. He said his initial reaction was to laugh at it. He said he does not think there is any rift, and he has not heard any griping in the locker room. He stated that there is an open door policy in the locker room that can allow for gripes to be heard. He said Harbaugh wanted to win, and the team was on board with his mentality.

Jim From SI

"I see all these reports about how I want to be the highest-paid coach in football," Harbaugh said. "They presume I covet some kind of extension. I have never said to anybody that I want to be the highest-paid coach in football. I have never said that to anybody -- my wife, my brother, my dad. I make plenty of money.

"The other one is that I want more power. I have never said that, nor do I want any more power than I have. I coach the team. I've told my owner I don't want any more power. I want to coach the team. And I've never told anybody else otherwise."

"There was never any opportunity to leave the San Francisco 49ers," he says. "If that existed, it existed in somebody else's mind, not mine. I am too fond of my team, the players, the coaches. I really feel like we have one of the best, if not the best organizations in football."

He said that repeatedly: He loves working for the 49ers. Also, to be clear about this, in case there is any confusion, Harbaugh did not sound agitated. He was just answering the questions I asked.

The speculation about Harbaugh may persist -- that is part of sports and part of the media culture. A lot of people have opinions about the situation. Now you know Harbaugh's.

any questions?

I'd like to see us make a run at one of the homerun threat runningbacks , we have more draft picks than we need so if I see us actually pick at 30 & not fly up thT draft board & make a splash I'm gonna be pissed..

Worked out Garafollo today, gamesmanship from Baalke & Co in the Kaepernick contract negotiations or do we want a cheap backup we can groom?... Interesting... This draft has me excited/nervous.. We can do Big things if we let our nuts hang and go for the throat every round... Trade them picks to make BIG picks!!

we could kick the tires on devin hester

This is the first thing I thought of when I heard the news.. You know how I feel about our special teams, or rather not so special teams, and how it destroyed us the last three seasons and how it should continue to be one of our primary points of emphasis of improvement. If Hester still has some air in those tires, I say lets go for a spin, if not then we need to look into the draft and other free agents.

This draft may define who we are over the next five years, and there is very little room for error... The good news is that it is deep in areas where we need the most, the bad news is that the draft is so turbulent and unpredictable, everybody mock drafts is completely different..
We must get that big wr and that shut down corner as well as a safety, help in our nickel package and once again special teams..
I would not waste a pick drafting a qb, that is unless we can cop a decant one around the 6th round, the thinking is that why waste a pick on one when we have holes that need to be filled, especially knowing that qb wont make an impact next year.. We may as well grab a vet via free agent, basically saying its Kaep or bust, at least for next year, when hopefully we will be able to get that servicable backup..
The components we need are certainly out there, and we have more than enough picks, now the last and most important part if for us to be smart..
During unpredictable drafts, like this one, there is always a few teams that try to be too cute and fuck up by trying to out smart the world, my only prayer is that we don't be one of those teams..

yup we need impact in the return. someone who has sure hands and isn't scared to break one.

I'm not worried about corner back. culliver was shaping up to be a shut down corner the year before last. he's big and runs a 4.3- 4.4 the only weak spot was carlos rogers and his contract is such that he'll be cut and we won't have to worry. T brown Brock and culliver is a hell of a backfield to go with reid and whitner we'll be better on defense this upcoming year with those people as well as tank and dial and okoye going with the line.

In a perfect world (in my world ) Mike Evans, Dennard or Verrett, Hester & Cj2k or MJD are Niners in 2014

To be honest, I really don't see us doing much in free agency next week.
We just don't have the money !!!
We still have to re-sign our core guys (Phil Dawson, Kaepernick, Aldon, Crabtree, Iupati, T.Brown?).

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

We will probably just do like last year & get a couple of 'filler type players'... like we did with Adam Snyder & Dan Skuta.
We're not breaking the bank for any top tier players

:cool::cool::cool:

We have enough talent no need to poach. Just resign our guys we need everyone healthy.. nobody was healthy last year.

culliver and brock lock down the outsides. draft us a speed wr a good top speed wr and some o line db and d line cause you can never have enough of those.

Our nickel package let us down way too many times, plus if you look at the championship game again, you will see that our poor special teams play shifted the momentum to the hawks.. This has to stop!

In 2012 after the Giants beat us, we signed Mario Manningham & Brandon Jacobs
In 2013 after the Ravens beat us, we signed Anquan Boldin

Now in 2014..... I bet money we go after one of the Seahawks players
Who is a good player in Seattle that we can snatch?

Seattle Seahawks Key free agents:
DE Michael Bennett, WR Golden Tate, K Steven Hauschka, DT Clinton McDonald, OT Breno Giacomini, QB Tarvaris Jackson.

I noticed we still have not re-signed our kicker Phil Dawson !!!
How da hell do you go from shitty David Akers to 'almost always money' Phil Dawson, and not re-sign him ???

Akers single handedly cost us games in 2012(both Rams games, especially the tie)
Dawson single handedly won us games last year

Do we replace Phil Dawson with Steven Hauschka, who is much younger?
Do we replace Colt McCoy with Tavaris Jackson?
Do we go after Golden Tate?
Hell we still need need a backup swing tackle. Who is this Breno Giacomini?

:dunno::dunno::dunno:
