we sat in this thread begging for him to use macdonald, hunter and james. and the sole reason he wasn't is because he was using miller.

that's as simple as it gets right there.

the only reason we saw more of lmj and hunter is because we only had 3 active wr's

see what i mean? he refuses to just use everybody only when forced to. so now he's going to be forced to and we'll see what a difference using them makes.

all we need is a FULLBACK
we don't need a fullback that's going out for routes and shit. we don't need none of that we got talent to do that. we just need a FULLBACK to line up in front of gore on power runs and run straight make contact and let gore through.

We need to take care of business on Monday regardless of what happens sunday but here are the scenarios for playoffs for us..

No. 1 seed: 49ers win out, Seahawks lose out, NO-CAR winner drops season finale

No. 2 seed: 49ers win out, Seahawks lose out, NO-CAR winner wins season finale, claims top seed by virtue of head-to-head win over 49ers

No. 5 seed: 49ers win out, Seattle wins at least one of remaining games, doesn't matter how NO-CAR loser does in season finale

No. 6 seed: 49ers lose one of two remaining games

the Bears go from being in the bottom 6 last year, to being in the top 6 this year in scoring. Yeah...Thxs Trestman!!! The fact that you would consider comparing last years offense..OL included....which faced the 49ers....to this years offense is hilarious!!!


The Bears score at a MUCH higher rate and have more/better weapons on offense than the 49ers. Check the facts!!! And please dont blame your sub-par offense on Crabtree being m.i.a. Him not playing was a factor..but yall stil aint a high powered offense.


Bears defense is shit...but once again...yall aint known for offense. So stop acting like yall the Broncos or something. Colin is a sub-par QB when compared to some of the best in the league. Even Cutler. Cutler and "Mack"nown have better arms than Colin. FACT!!!The only issue we would have with you all is would be Gore....and maybe one of your WR's. ...Due to Tilman being out. But then again..Briggs is coming back..which should help stop some of those big ass runs that we've allowed over the last 5 weeks.

Regardless...it would be offense vs defense. A defense that is no longer consider the best in the league.

If we make it to the playoffs and play/eliminate u all in RD1...imma have a field day in this thread.

Scenario's 1 & 2 would be amazing to say the least.. But that's putting alotta hope in Arizona & St.Louis.. What I will say about the Rams is, these MF's Always turn up when you least expect them to. I love the convenience of the Shehawks closing they season with back to back home games smfh..

And their fans actually said they have a hard schedule this season.

Anyway... We'll lock up the #5 seed. We control our fate and we're getting better every day.

We know Miller is gone. Dixon will be the starting fullback. Will Tukuafu will be the backup.

We may see the return of the jumbo backfield with Dixon, Tukuafu and Gore all back there at the same time. That would definitely help our red zone rushing attack (if Roman calls the actual power running plays).

No matter what the last game at candlestick the offense and defense will be fired up.

This is what we should root for.

Root that N.O. somehow beats the panthers sunday

and root that the cards go in there and beat seattle.

They beat seattle and we win we're 1 game back.

it also helps us the final week of the season

we'll be in already, and face a cardinals team that doesn't control it's own destiny, win or lose won't matter it'll matter if the panthers win or not. so if the panthers win they're out if the panthers lose their in regardless of what they do against us and we're already clinches so they can't knock us out

and then it sets the stage for the rams to try and be spoilers...

if they can actually go up there and win.. then we become #1 seed as long as panthers/n.o. loses

and if that happens 3 teams from the nfc west will be in the playoffs
 
This is what we want.
We beat the Cowboys, then the Saints, then after the Panthers & Seahawks beat up each other first, we play the winner.
We want that #5 seed.

While Largebills is the official/unofficial voice of Niner Nation in this bitch & being the #1/2 seed would be nice.. I have to agree with Curt here.. We play a cupcake in the wildcard and if we lose.. well we deserve to be out.. but we win more than likely pretty easily with little issue, all whilst are dearest enemies are ripping at eachothers throats... Curt's is more likely to happen for sure. it wasn't a slight on him. that's pretty much how it probably will happen.

but it ain't over till it's over.

if the cardinals win, that puts all the pressure in the world on the seahawks and gives us incentive to go out there hungry against the falcon to get a win and get in.

and then in week 17 the cardinals won't be playing for anything against us.. they can't knock us out and they can't get in win or lose so it'll be a scrimmage we can go full throttle and hope the rams play spoiler. that's all i was saying.

if we win the division we get a bye and we get a home game 1 more for candlestick and don't even have to go anywhere until MAYBE the nfcg which would be in new orleans.

i was just saying the best possible scenario.

it's great because the game tomorrow now is for a playoff spot and they know it. on top of it being the last game for sure at candlestick they can win and get in and can win and be 1 game away from winning the division.. incentive

and with us being in the playoffs if we win, the cardinals game is nothing to them. they can't knock us out or spoil anything.

I wanted the cardinals to win because i didn't want the team to get a breath of air or even a chance to be relaxed. not that i thought it would happen but now tomorrow they will be as intense as they need to be in order to try and win the game. knowing that a spot in the playoffs is on the line the coaching staff has to be focused as well.

and then next week the game means nothing to arizona and they can't spoil anything. so we can go in focused knowing that we have a chance to win the division.

and seattle will be fired up next week and so will the rams.

the thing about this division is ALL 4 teams are built the same way, some better than others but the rams have some damn good pass rushers and the rams has a good front 7.
 
The Rams (even though they lost), 49ers, and Cards laid the blueprint for beating the Seahawks !!!

1) Refs need to call PI & holds on Seattle's DB's.
2) Pass rush.... Rush Wilson WIDE.... so he can't scramble to the outside. Contain him in the pocket.
3) Contain Lynch & gang tackle him.
4) Keep offensive shifts & motions to a minimum b/c you can't hear anything w/ that noise.
5) The Seahawks CAN be run on.
6) Again.... refs need to call those holds & PI calls !!!

3) I want to see how Dixon does as a FB
How does Gore play w/o Miller?
Does Dixon have the power/strength to open holes up the middle for Gore?
Dixon has the speed to block outside for a toss sweep or screens, for Hunter & LMJ.

4) I want to see Patton catch a few balls.
Manningham has not looked the same since coming back from injury.
Hopefully Patton can make some plays to give the coaches more confidence to play him more.

5) Hopefully Crabs keeps improving....no more stupid penalties.
