We're getting healthy after all the damn injuries we've had. #2 defense in the league before aldon came back and most of it without pat.

Now with the emergence of Lynch to go with Brooks and Borland and the secondary which was top 5 without a pass rush?? And we just activated Glen Dorsey too? And Bowman is about to start practicing this week? :dance::dance:

Been injured but has played OK when he was in there some good some bad

Culliver was on that same track before he got injured.. remember he was a rookie basically during that playoff run and he was one of the main reasons we shut people down in the 2nd half of that run.

Started slow battling injuries, was in fucking shutdown corner form and is getting a pick a week. BALLHAWK


Brown and rogers never ever went after the ball they played the man to a fault. brock and culliver play the man and when the ball comes reacts to make the play.. they don't stand there and let it happen.

The shit is happening right before out eyes. Check out where brown and rogers are right now and say you'd want them still starting for this team? If they showed up to camp they would get CUT.



now keep in mind that eric reid is also a ball hawk but a disciplined one.. how many int's could he have had last season.. and how many fumble recoveries he had just having the ability to be around the ball?

No pass rush but did his job this entire season. a couple plays were on him but that's just part of being in the NFL nobody is going to be perfect. Got an int with more coming cause of pressure so far our secondary has had to cover.. no gambles just cover and play good defense.


now add in ward who is a go getter.. and im not predicting a million interceptions, what i am saying is there will be a whole lot more passes batted down which is just as good imo. you bat those passes down 2nd and long's become 3rd and long and 3rd and long's become 4th down's... see what i mean?

Ward had the hardest job he started off slow, got better as the season went on and then got injured he showed flashes and had brain farts as well as reid letting him down a couple times jury is still WAY out on him

HOWEVER we do lead the league in passes defended which was my entire point about this post many moons ago.

Cook got hurt but he was light's out for us when he was on the field. it was night and day from his time in minnesota.


We're about to see a level of defense played that we haven't seen on a 49ers team since 94'

if the offense gets it together it can get ugly for every team we face quick.

1 week of pressure produced 5 interceptions. And you can't use the Eli excuse because he had cut down his turnovers and was playing excellent football when we came to town with all his options healthy including their top rb who they had been missing for a month.

stay focused and remain hungry and humble on both sides of the ball

watch out.

Curt was 100% right about Lemonier Vs Lynch.

we both felt Lynch was the shit but only i felt Lemonier still had a shot, I was wrong on him completely.

On 49ers pursuit when he was a free agent:

I had some talks with them, general manager, Coach Harbaugh and things like that. It was a close call, I almost made the trip to come out there, but obviously Washington did what they did and kept me here, and made everything right. I did have a couple talks. Coach Harbaugh and myself, we played together back at Cal when he was at Stanford. I respect him and what he's done. It was a tough call, but I chose to come here instead.

On why he chose Washington:

At the end of the day, they made it right for me to stay here in Washington, and even though I'm born and raised in California and would love to be there, love to play there, it was just a better fit and a better situation for me to be where I'm at now. So that's kind of what played a part.

Just saying because we don't land someone doesn't mean we aren't trying to get him. It just doesn't work out sometimes. Would love for him to have joined us just as much as you and every other 49er fan looking for that legit deep threat.

Unless these niggas put the full court press and roll out the red carpet the champagne and skittles and bring Marshawn Home to the bay, I will continue with my belief that these niggas Aren't as serious about winning as they'd have you believe.

I understand you want the splash but we get the substance. Stevie has been money when playing lloyd has too the rift is that Baalke wants to get young on defense and Jim wants to get young on offense while Baalke wants the vets..that's what it would seem so we'll see.

but you can't deny what I said we were doing is exactly what we did. Everyone here and elsewhere was groaning when we didn't get whitner rogers or brown back.. I felt we would be better than before without them..we made them. Look at the secondary now.. Reid Bathea is a way better combo than reid and whitner because bathea can actually cover as well as play run support. Love whitner but pass coverage he lacked.

Brown and rogers wouldn't even make our roster. That's just a fact and they're not even playing where they are now.. Culliver is back in form Brock has been injured (I'm pissed at that) but cox and johnson have got "it"

I want us to go after him too though I don't know if we could land him because if he plays in the bay he's going to want to go to Oakland for real. Playing for Oakland would be more important to him than playing for a contender
 
I feel like RG3 & the Redskins will play very hard
