My 49ers Brothers,
What's going on with everyone??....I check out our first preseason game on last week..We got some nice young talent on the team this year!!...I see we might have some nice depth on the roster this season!!..Also, the running game should be on point this year as well..That rookie RB we got (Davis-Price) ...He should be alright for us!!..

Trey Sermon might get cut

Going into that preseason game
Trey Sermon had a minor ankle issue
So I'm not sure how much that had to do with his performance
But yeah, dude has not really looked all THAT good throughout camp
We have some decent RB's this year
But not all of them will make it

I think Shanny was hoping to stash Jordan Mason on the practice squad
But that shit probably ain't happening b/c dude is putting out good preseason game tape

The other 2 get cut or traded
Or have one of those "phantom injuries", to stash them on the PUP list for half a season

I watched our 2nd preseason game on last week...Our young players we got on the team this season is pretty good..That RB Mason we have..He's alright!!...Him and Davis-Price can run the ball pretty good...
We got some good young defensive players as well..

The have 1000% complete trust in Trey Lance. The last preseason game where the O-Line played garbage has nothing to do with the decision.
Lynch said from the beginning they didn't just want to give Jimmy away. The #1 thing that was holding a trade back was his salary. Now that they've reworked his contract they have extended trading him until the October trade deadline (not to mention saved a ton of money).
Also, if Jimmy stays the entire season and leaves as a free agent next year the 49ers receive a 3rd round comp pick. It's a win-win situation.
Lynch & Co. are playing the long game. Checkers if you will. They are putting the team in the best situation for the future.
No. They let him walk for a reason. Plus, bringing him back would mean taking up a roster space. With the depth we have our roster is tight enough as is.

I don't think they cut him. We get a guaranteed 3rd round pick next season for letting him stay on the roster. You know Lynch likes to build through the draft. They're not passing that up.
Now a trade is possible. With the base salary lower and guys getting injured during the season, it can definitely happen. But there is no rush to do so.
