49ers

Am I really making a bad choice picking up Hunter for my fantasy league...

theoretically no you're not. he is a starting rb in the league he looks lightning quick and he's faster than he was before the injury.

the only thing you have to worry about is predicting if we'll keep using him little or more. if we use him more he's going to get 5 yards a carry and break a couple td's he's going to break a td a game if he gets 12 touches.. that's just a guarantee.

I should of picked him up earlier, because Green-Ellis wasn't helping me at all....:smh::smh::smh:

Im going to have him starting with Moreno....since he's been giving me decent points so far....

I picked up Boldin in my other league and he came through..last week....I hope he continues to play great on Sunday...

the problem those 2 games was simply kyle williams. you don't have to respect him at 5'10" as an outside wr so they could double boldin

enter badlwin who's 6'4" with 4.4. speed, and you can't double boldin or baldwin will eat you up.

if we continue to run strong plays and not cute ones he'll come through.

and just think about when crabtree comes back...

:hmm:
not saying I know more than Harbaalke but :cmonson:

ps our other 7th round pick this year that we cut 6'2" Marcus Cooper is now balling as KCs nickleback

Marcus Cooper had an INT to help the Chiefs beat the Titans this week!
Damn Harbaugh & Balke fucked up big time, by cutting him!

:angry::angry::angry:

eh it happens.

who's to say if he was on this team he would even play? it took rehab for us to get corey some run.. and an injury to get brock on the field..

anyway let's get it

Seahawks just lost to the Colts!
We just need to take care of business tonight to keep it close in the division.
Houston Texans will be tough.
After the Texans, our next 3 games til the bye are VERY winnable!

:dance::dance::dance:

i keep getting the feeling that our offense is holding back the arsenal til the post-season

i keep getting the feeling that our offense is holding back the arsenal til the post-season

not even, we're hurt. our #1 wr is hurt.

we still didn't use hunter and james like we should have

and kyle williams still played entirely too much.

HOWEVER

we didn't get too cute, we ran the ball and im happy with that. fuck the stats we don't need the qb to throw it 100 times... if you get the type of to's we got you supposed to run the ball. and we did.

we gave the defense a reason to keep it up they scored 7 offense scored 7 then kept it up.

we survived. we played the packers seahawks colts at rams and texans and we're only 1 game back in the division and we played the last 2 games with out nnamdi willis and aldon and STILL getting it done.

what everyone thought would be a weakness is a strength. our pass defense is ranked 3rd and we haven't even had aldon the last 2 or willis or a plethora of sacks to shield them.

and so far we've faced roger, wilson, luck, bradford and now schaub.

You guys see it right? It feels good right? The return of Niner football. Oh yes!

Defense
Lights out as usual. Houston is a good, balanced offensive team. They were averaging 22.5 points per game before last night. Our defense shut them down.

Screw the analyst blaming it on Shaub. It was the 49er defense that made him look bad. Despite playing without with Ian Williams, Aldon Smith, Patrick Willis, Nnamdi Asomugha AND Chris Culliver (people seem to forget about him) we held Houston to 3 points.

The backups & young guys are stepping up exactly like we needed them to.

Special Teams
Finally looking like the unit we want them to look like. Andy Lee "The MVP" booming 60 yard punts. Spillman, Osgood, Ventrone, Dixon all providing great return coverage. Controlling the field position.

Offense
i keep getting the feeling that our offense is holding back the arsenal til the post-season

You're seeing 49er football. Power run game, short passes, set up the deep pass. That formula equals winning.

The passing game is there we're just short on personnel. They are coming though. Davis' hamstring will heal up and we'll be deadly. We took some deep shots last night. Missed on a few but hit the big one for the Davis TD. Once we get our receivers back we'll be good to go.

The power running is being called consistently (thank god). All of the runs last night we're not good. Some lost yardage. It wasn't abandoned though. It was called and we continued to gain yards.

We still need to mix in James and Hunter more but I digress...

This play let's me know we're playing real 49er football. We lineup and let you know where going to run this ball down your fucking throat and there's nothing you can do to stop it. (Sorry fellas, I'm too lazy to make a .gif)
power-run1.jpg

EXACTLY

there were people complaining about this game and complaining about Kap.

my friend called and was complaining i had to explain. Kap only had 15 attempts it was not a passing game.. it was a grind it out keep the clock running and score td's in the red zone by power running breaking their will game. 6 completions for 111 yards and a td

and we still didn't use all our personnel and unfortunately kyle williams was in way more than he should have. but the texans have the #1 pass defense in the nfl...

we did what we were supposed to do, we dominated. we don't need to throw the ball 30 times a game... as i keep telling people even when alex was qb'ing that is not jim... when he had andrew luck at stanford they still ran it 30+ times every single game..

we just need to work on getting everyone else involved man the talent is there.

macdonald needs more passing snaps he's been excellent blocking

james needs opportunities to be explosive.. he came in at the end and was breaking em

hunter needs more snaps to change the pace to go along with the power run game.. he can run between the tackles too.

baldwin needs to be in every snap.

and we need to run a bunch with patton and williams and that could free them up.

we're getting there. and we still haven't been healthy yet nobody played a tougher schedule to begin than us and we're only 1 game back in the standings.

i see a streak coming of excellent play and kap rising more and more...

game plan killed his mojo in seattle and continued with the colts.

the team responded though. totally responded.

people are going to say its all schaub but our defense did that. they studied the tape they hit hard they filled in

brock is a stud he has the aggressiveness as brown and brown is criminally underrated.

he locked up andre johnson...

and everyone he's faced this season.

ppl forget we're missing willis and aldon and we lost culliver for the entire season still haven't played with our #1 wr

we're getting healthy... and eric wright is with the team and will be eligible to practice next week... we're going to get stronger and stronger as long as the offense does its job. the defense been stellar all year.

This is the #1 thing people seem to forgot, not realize or have no clue about.

Our offensive identity is to run the ball. It's old school. Use the run to set up the pass.

We normally run the ball 30+ times a game. Last night for instance, 36 runs for 177 yards. It's also the style of run. It's power stuff. Good old smash mouth football.

Week 1 fooled everyone because they saw Kaep put it up 39 times. What they greatly overlooked however is that we also ran the ball 34 times. Quote that number to people. Watch how their mind gets blown.

We have the ability to throw the ball if we wanted/needed to. As I said earlier, it's a miss right now because we have so many guys injured at the WR position. However, we can pass despite this. If we stick to our basic principal and use the run to set up the pass the completions will come.

not only will they come they will come in bunches.

they point out how many passes go to wr but don't point out the inconsistent snaps that they get which makes it hard to get a rhythm.

they don't point out injuries and new faces..

like brady gets a pass cause his guys are new but kap doesn't?

we will show them. i really think baldwin will be big

and then you realize we've been doing this without our willis without aldon without culliver without crab and manning ham vd missed a game.. and we're doing this...

we're getting better, and above everything else the team responded.

we're fighting back. and after the performances we put up there's no reason to change it. and again, all it takes is 1 pass... bam 69 yards to vd

and kap actually scrambled and gained the 1st down.. that's a HUGE sign he's getting his mojo all the way back. he would refuse to run the past 2 games.... once he's back to fearless its a wrap. he wasn't shaken just needed to adjust to the wack ass game plans.

we were on cruise control last night and put up 34
and most encouraging when we got to the red zone we didn't get cute.. we didn't fuck around.

we straight up powered that shit

and it still stings that if they decided to do this in the super bowl we would be wearing a ring right now

and oh yea

in case we need a reminder 49er fans

Jim Harbaugh today said the 49ers' two rookie defensive linemen, Tank Carradine and Quinton Dial, are on track to begin practicing for the first time next week. After they start practicing, the team has a three-week window with which to add them to the 53-man roster or shut them down completely for the season. Carradine, a second-round pick who is coming off an ACL injury suffered in November, will play defensive end and is ostensibly the long-term replacement for Justin Smith. Dial, who Harbaugh said was up to 340-350 pounds, would play nose tackle. "Moving real well," Harbaugh said of Dial, a fifth-round pick. "So high hopes for him."
Like the others listed above, cornerback Eric Wright currently is on the non-football injury list, and Harbaugh said he, too, could start practicing next week. All of the players on NFI are eligible to start practicing after Week 6 to Week 11. From that point, there is a three-week window for putting them on the 53-man roster.

:yes::yes:

for sure.
we destroyed them 34-3

and nobody has said a peep about that. these are the texans. we did watch the film we did execute...

nah its texans not us

Its funny, because they say the same thing about us...:hmm:

I don't know how anyone can disregard the 49ers,that's fucking insane....Yall and the Seahawks are the most physical teams in the league and yet I hardly hear anything about them...

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Down to his final strike, the Cleveland Browns might be trying to sell high on receiver Josh Gordon.

Gordon, who served a 2-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, has been rumored to be on the trading block since returning in week 3.

Monday afternoon, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Browns and 49ers have had preliminary trade talks for Gordon but nothing is imminent. Schefter added that a deal with San Francisco may not be likely with receivers Mario Manningham coming off PUP and Michael Crabtree scheduled to return in November.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network also reported Monday that the Browns are actively shopping Gordon and they are asking for at least a 2nd round pick in return.

The Browns already shocked the football world when they sent running back Trent Richardson, who was last year’s No. 3 overall pick in the draft, to Indianapolis for the Colts 2014 first round pick on Sept. 18.

Gordon, who has 18 catches for 303 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, admitted on Sept. 16 that one more violation and he faces a 1-year ban from the NFL and he would have to apply for reinstatement.

His first catch of the year coming off the suspension went for a 47-yard touchdown against the Vikings. Gordon caught a 37-yard TD in Thursday night’s 37-24 win over Buffalo and all 7 of his career touchdowns have been of the plus-20 yards, big play variety.

The NFL Trade Deadline is Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. and expect the Gordon rumors to persist until then.

I enjoy it though. cause keep in mind. we lost our starting cb culliver to acl injury for the year. got a rookie safety starting after letting goldson go, lost aldon smith to rehab haven't had willis these past 2 weeks and haven't had our 1st or 3rd wr play a single snap...

and the help is coming. the team is going to get better and better.

yup knew of that but nothing concrete was done. might give them the 2nd but might now... again we just played the damn packers, seahawks, colts, rams and texans without all of our players...

and they're all coming back

If the Broncos go to the Superbowl, the two teams Im scare of, is the 49ers and Seahawks, because of their defenses...:smh:

Yall have two bad games, which was the offensive coordinators fault and people forgot about the 49ers...which makes no sense at all...They make it seem like yall aint elite no more....

We our had our fist bad game defensively and everybody is acting like the sky is falling...

I don't understand the media sometimes...:hmm:

I just heard they might not do something now, since someone is coming back in two weeks from the PUP list...but never know :dunno:

If,they would of traded Josh Gordon,it would be riot up here....:smh::smh:

it's all the way good though. we don't get passes for that. take out all those players for other teams and what do they do? and we could have won 4 of these 5 tough games but i'm patient just taking note at everyone doubting..

well they're probably asking too much for him. we just got through a tough ass stretch without him... and have manningham coming and crab coming.. so i don't know. i'd trade kyle williams and a 3rd rounder for gordon though.. in a heart beat.

Just have to stay humble stay hungry and stay focused and we can keep getting better than we have been, we're not even close to what we will be

The 49ers claimed QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson off waivers and released QB John Skelton.

49ers front office has been looking pretty stupid these past few weeks!
What the hell are you doing Baalke?
We cut BJ Daniels to sign John Skelton.... only to cut Skelton 2 weeks later!

And don't get me started on the rookie DB Marcus Cooper that we cut.
Dude is in Kansas City ballin, I just saw an article about him on the front page of NFL.com

just making moves to make moves. that's all there is to it makes no sense.

im not mad at cooper cause there's no guarantee that he would have even played... you know how they do.

brock wouldn't have gotten a chance if nnamdi was healthy

whihote wouldn't get snaps if willis

if aldon was in corey wouldn't get any time.

they just refuse to rotate and use depth.

but

tank says he's ready dial says he's ready... that's much needed. eric wright said he's ready too.

also manningham starts practice next week so hopefully they move kyle williams all the way down the depth chart... he's just so fucking weak but he still plays while macdonald barely gets run and lamichael barely gets run and hunter barely gets run

but kyle williams playing almost every snap

:smh:
