Jets fans are happier than us & I guarantee they win more games than the Niners... They went out & got a real fucking coach & they filling they cupboard with weapons.. TWO FUCKING YEARS IN A ROW WE SIGN BLAINE GABBERT TO OPEN FREE AGENCY!!

You still ain't explain how we're going to sign Revis to $40 million guaranteed. from where? with what money? answer that.

2 years $2 million dollars and little guaranteed money.

We are clearly going to draft Quarterbacks to be behind Kaep. There is absolutely no guarantee that he's going to even be on the team at the end of preseason but you can't just have 1 quarterback on the roster.

If everyone else in the room picks up a gun... Pick up a gun..

If everyone else in the room picks up a gun... Pick up a gun..

You let them shoot themselves in the head.
we just got Torrey Smith.. the deep threat we've been missing for years to go with VD.

we met with Parker and all things indicate that's who we're going to go with assuming white and cooper are gone.

Take a look at what Torrey Smith said

First question, why the San Francisco 49ers?

"For me, I had to end up leaving Baltimore and if you're going to go anywhere, you want to go to a winning organization and a team that has the chance to go all the way every year. I talked to [WR] Anquan [Boldin]. I watched from afar how the organization works and how the players are. I felt very comfortable being here and you know you have a chance, so I'm excited to be a part of something great."

Even with the turnover, every team has turnover, but to lose a running back like RB Frank Gore as well as you heard of LB Patrick Willis retiring. Just your thoughts on the turnover for this team?

"To me, it kind of reminds me of when I first came to the Ravens. They lost [former NFL WR] Derrick Mason, [former NFL RB] Willis McGahee, [former NFL TE] Todd Heap, a bunch of veteran players who were great within the organization, but we found a way to keep pressing on. And it's that ‘next man up' philosophy and that's everywhere on every team. So, I'm sure they've grown the right people to be ready for the opportunity. They had a lot of injuries last year, so clearly a lot of people were able to get some experience. So, I feel comfortable from the outside in and I have absolutely no clue the insides. You all might know a little more than me, but I'm sure they'll be ready."

On the field, how do you see your impact helping this offense, especially with your speed and what you can do?

"I feel like I can definitely make the big play. I can turn the simple play into a huge gain. I'm just trying to be an explosive playmaker for this team to help [QB Colin Kaepernick] Kap, [WR Anquan Boldin] Q, whoever's in there and be a spark and try to be as consistent as possible. That's my daily battle."

When you were researching where to go as a free agent, how much do you study the quarterback that you're going to be working with?

"You definitely study the quarterback, but Kap's a guy that I've known for years. If you want to be technical, since my redshirt freshman year when we played in a bowl game, we played against Nevada. He probably had his best game ever. I watched him since then and I knew he was a ballplayer. We, obviously, were the same draft year and able to watch how he works. We actually worked out together in Miami for a little while. So, he's a great player. I'm comfortable with him. He has a strong arm and I can run, so that's a good combination there. And I hope to help him out and take some pressure off of him and take some pressure off of Anquan and whoever else is out there, [TE] Vernon [Davis], whoever. That's my job to be the best player that I can be for the team."

On Sunday night there was a rumor that 49ers general manager Trent Baalke addressed about Colin Kaepernick being on the trade block. Did you catch wind of that and did that give you a reason for pause?

"Of course I did. That's social media. You all can get anything out there. But, I checked in on it and asked my agent, ‘Hey is there any truth to that?' and I also went straight to the source itself in terms of the player to see, ‘Hey man is everything good?' So, I've got my guy [Ravens QB] Tyrod [Taylor] to ask. He's down there with Kap right now. So, everything is good. I'm comfortable with what's going on. Kap's a great player."

"Sometimes there are guys hurting & hurting real bad. But we still go out there & lay it on the line for this game, b/c we love to play it & for one another. But sometimes, somethings just wont allow it.... no matter how strong we are... and this was one of those times for me"

Man one of the absolute best to do it. He gave everything and clearly injury and his future is the only reason he's hanging it up. It's a shock but I am proud he was a niner.

I'm glad Pat got out while he could... I can't wait to hear the excuses come October when this abomination of a rag tag patchwork "team" is 1-5. Smh

We gonna be picking top 5 in 2016, who Yall like... Not for nothing the more I think about this rabbithole, we've only begun to see the fuckery... If you're gonna dump Harbaugh, you might as well dump Kaep. If you're gonna keep Kaep you need to put him in the best possible position to thrive.. So after this 2015 disaster, we'll lose Kaep... Yo by this time next year we won't even recognize the 49ers... Shit is crazy smh

Tramon Williams is still available... I mean seeing as how we all settled up at the WR position with the acquisition of Torrey Smith

Lotta good corners available but I just cant see Trent doing anything other than making some chic pic at 15

Hear the plan is still on with one of the studs, and probably Parker for that 15 spot at WR.

Also supposedly closer to signing reggie for the 3 headed rushing attack Baalke said he'd like to have.

Db's I don't know at this point what the plan is but I am confident in brock and Johnson. Culliver got a lot of damn money, plus Washington is running with the 49ers old GM so they're going to do what we do move for move basically.

Another thing I heard is we're trying to find a way to possibly get Mike Wallace but it's looking like he might go to the vikings.

That's all I know so far as far as free agents and our draft. we've got extra picks this year I'll try and find just how many.. we might use them to move up if one of those studs (Parker, white) are close.

If we signed Mike Wallace I still say 2015 is a wash, but I'd be happy about that... How Reggie isn't signed yet is just silly.. We have like 17+ million in cap space smh

Latest up to date rumor is that Harvin hasn't sign with the bills yet and we're pursuing him hard. That's developing right not actually.

Wallace and Smith together would be overkill anyway

I'm excited. We have speed finally. That is the key to the offense. If they have to cover someone deep the entire rest of the field is open and they cannot put fast db's on vernon which means he's back to linebackers

and the only linebacker that could probably cover him, played for us and just retired.

You know theres a chance that the Vernon we knew is no more right? I see you putting alotta stock in him as a goto offensive weapon... VD been doing it for a lonnnnng time & he's been dinged up, not to mention he's like a social elitest high society art nigga now, so what says he even goes that hard anymore??
I'd be happy if he did do work, but it's year 10 and like I said dude is about that interior design now, so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't..

Killa is 100% correct
Yup Vernon is worried about Vernon
He's into his art stuff & his stupid Fantex stock
I don't have an issue with players doing extra stuff off the field BUT...
On the field, dude plays soft
He plays 'not to get hurt'

This is the last year of his contract coming up
He wants to get one last big payday before he retires
The ninja held out last year talking about 'he's worried about his BRAND' :hmm:

LOL @ dudes on here depending on Vernon to beast out this coming season
I told y'all before....
I fully expect him to hold out again like he did last year
He already saw how Boone got more money & his contract redone, when he held out
Also keep in mind, remember when Jimmy Graham wanted the Saints to pay him like a WR
Vernon was keeping track of Jimmy Graham's situation to use as leverage
I remember Vernon going on one of those espn shows & talking about it
Look at Graham now... the Seahawks are paying him like 10 million

Vernon wants to be paid like a top 3 TE, & he wants a long term contract
Jed York & Trent Baalke are NOT going to pay him that
Hell these mofos just got rid of Stevie Johnson because he did not want to take a paycut :smh:
Vernon is not going to ball out & risk injury without having a long term contract

Like I said again, don't be surprised if he holds out again this coming year
And if so, don't be surprised if Baalke trades Vernon for a draft pick !!!
LargeBills, its good to be optimistic, but at the same time, you also have to be realistic about the team as well
The 49ers are going through a lot of changes, & not everything is positive

#just sayin

We had no speed he was the speed so he got the coverage rolled to him family.

When your wr are slow and the Te is the only person who can beat you over the top you make sure he doesn't. Now they can't and he'll be on linebackers again because you have to make sure Torrey doesn't beat you deep. It's like when we had moss. Moss cleared out everything based on reputation and Vernon looked all world.

That's why everybody played single high safety against us. You don't worry about a wr beating you up the sideline you drop an extra defender near the los and you cover the middle where the Te would try to work. With Torrey way more cover 2 because he can and will beat you over the top.

Now that's just x's and o's if he can still run we can exploit this. He still can't run great routes or catch with his hands. That is never going to change.

Yea I just saw we signed Reggie
Does he still return punts/kicks
I haven't watched him in a while
How did he look in Detroit?
Still productive?

:cool::cool::cool:

Lions offense wanted him to be every down and he's not.

He's still got everything he had.
For us Hyde is the power
Hunter is the change of pace
Bush is the space pass catching and dare I say screen??? Back.

Solid move

Sooo we get rid of Gore & bring in Bush
That plan didn't work so well during the presidential elections
Hope it works better this time
(Al Gore joke ;))

But seriously,
We don't run screens & also Kap rarely throws to the RB's out of the backfield
I hope the coaches use Bush better than they used LaMichael James
I guess we will see

We didn't run screens and Kap wasn't instructed to look for the Backs. what we'll see if Kap does exactly what the coaches tell him to do.

It makes no sense to sign him and not use him for what he's good for. He won't be the every down back, that's Hyde he'll be the out of the backfield threat at running back. Really good move.

plus somewhere Baalke was talking about the 3 headed rushing attack. something we could've used years ago but Roman and them made sure Gore got all the carries and everyone else be damned.
