310mph Train...You Riding? New York to Miami...3.5 hrs

I'd love to ride it at 310 mph on a straightaway for a few miles, but I'm not going from NY to Miami. A crash at that speed would be lights out for everybody!

EDIT: I just looked it up... a 3 mile trip would take 35 seconds! :eek2:

You say this as if people would survive a plane crash lol. Doesn't keep anyone from getting on a plane that goes 500+ mph. If that bitch falls out the sky you're dead just the same. Hell, people die in cars every single day doing under 100.

Yeah but pound for pound... planes are the safest means of travel. Millions of people fly everyday around the world and casualties are fairly rare. In Something going that fast on the ground that's not totally isolated, like in a tube, that shit is just a horrific accident waiting to happen. Too much can happen to get in the way of that train going that fast on the ground. That's just my opinion tho.
