I think they should be aware of negative stigmas that come with "not being normal" according to societal standards. Double standards are common amongst idiots like these people. Their problems are the only problems that exist in the world, because when you live in a bubble, your reality is the only reality. We've seen far too many examples of parents that don't conduct themselves as role models for their kids, and these people orphaned their fucking kid because they wanted to tag team argue with a neighbor. Once that husband said, "I'll make your life hell" and openly threatened to fight the neighbor...that was an invite to get busy, but everyone isn't trying to throw hands. This is the privilege that got him killed. Growing up in North Philly, I know that antagonizing someone is a deadly game to play, so I keep my shit talking to playful banter with friends and family.

Also, I don't think the guy was calling the shooter a queer in the derogatory sense, but how we did as kids when you wanted to call someone a punk.

Autistic child or not, they felt that the neighbor was being a faggit. So they called him a faggit.

They have a child so I’m guessing some felt that they should have been more sensitive to the female genitalia and thousands of women having complications with pregnancy each year.

So they were mad when the husband called him a pussy!

Words matter fam. Some words are fighting words. You call the wrong person the wrong word, and you're going to have to deal with the consequence. I don't think dude started bucking at these people because of being called a queer, he was already in the mood to do that, but their constant needling made him go over the ledge.
