Leonard is 2 his defense counts
Steph is 3 his scoring is a beast mode effect and his defense can no longer be called trash it ain't

Kd ain't as good as hes going to be this is his 1st year getting coaching
He'll pass up steph

To me the Warriors did exactly what great teams do. Despite playing a bad game they found a way to gut out a win. Now they are just 7 wins away from a title. Great teams take advantage of opportunities and to me that is what separates good teams from great ones.

I just disagree... to each his own. KL is a top 5 player IMO but number 2 is a bit much...

Leonard's injury was unfortunate. The Spurs caught them flat. Brown's substitutions were ass. They gonna lose close games if Kerr isn't within earshot.

We let him get going with bad defense but we stepped up the pressure on him forcing him to do what he does

Our defense picked up in the 2nd half even before Leonard went out
Being that lazy to start was unacceptable and hopefully a wake up call
 
Spurs need to resign Simmons and get Danny Green the fuck out of there lol

Simmons can be the #3 scorer or 2 depending on Aldridge.. Spurs def got a PG in Murry

I think it was Kerr's initial rotations that fucked up the flow. You can tell that Kerr had his finger prints all over the first half. Kerr never plays Clark

Mike brown went back to Clark and it payed off
 
The league office has to step up and protect jumpshooters when they are in the air. Someone taking a jumpshot should be given space to land. The league needs to start suspending defenders who crowd jumpshooters with their feet not allowing them a clear landing. I say a five game suspension and 50K fine. That is a dirty play.

It should be a reviewable play on a case by case basis then. If you see a defender purposely sliding their feet under the shooter and not giving shooters a landing that should be a flagrant. I know if I was a jumpshooter and a defender did me like that he can expect an accidental karate chop on my way down.

Steph gets hit on his jumper all year long and rarely if ever gets a call on those shots
It even happened today multiple times with no calls.

So no

Nothing needs to be done suddenly

Coach Pop needs to sit Kawhi for Game 2 on Tuesday. Give that tender ankle time to heal. Game 3 isnt til Saturday. Go ahead and concede you're going down 0-2 headed back to San Anton.

Getting hit on your jumpshot is different from someone sliding their feet under yours while you are in the air. When a player gets a broken ankle or a torn achilles tendon maybe they will consider it then. It should not take all of that though.

i actually think this would be a good idea. You had a shot of stealing a game on GS court. That didn't happen, so just get ready for game 3.
