Naw man Kerr could learn something from coach Brown. Brown used situational substitutions which Kerr never does.
Kerr sticks to the same rotations no matter what. The way Brown handled McGee mins were impressive. Kerr never has him with the closing team.
Yeah McGee closing it out was huge.. Kerr might want to mix it up.. he also bought Curry back in around the 7:30 mark instead of the 6 to 5 min mark Kerr likes to do
McGee look like a champion. The Shaq beef seems to have inspired him.

McGee been capable but coaches couldn't look past his bonehead decisions to give him a chance. Glad he's on this team so he can get noticed for how good of a player he is.
When Shaq said McGee wants to act like he a good player all I could do was laugh because he did the same shit he's doing now when he was on the Nuggets but Shaq admitted that he didn't pay too much attention to the Nuggets even when they were winning.
So there's no way you can judge if you let the media shape your perspective of a player. I would go to bat for McGee at times because I felt it was ignorant that his Shaqtin a fool highlights got played more than his playoff performance verse the Lakers or his turnover vs the Pacers got played more than his coast to coast jam in the same game. Just a few examples.
