2015 CHICAGO BEARS Offseason Thread

another close fucking loss :smh:

Langford :smh:

As much as I hate MSU, I was ridin for Langford to get more touches going into this game too.

We a bunch of losers right now. I'ma go get some White Castle chicken rangs and sulk in the car :crymeariver:

yes easily the worst secondary in the nfl:smh:

Im mystified, cuz Donatell is supposed to be a great secondary coach and we have at least average talent. I dunno whats happened with Fuller, but I think its something off the field. He doesn't seem motivated at all half the time (although it was nice to see him get a pick today).

I've never had any confidence on McManus... is Ball hurt or did he lose his job since he was stinkin it up? Even Rolle caught the okiedoke brain cramp on that long pass play that put the Queens into scoring position on the winning drive. Dude said "FUCK attacking the ball, lemme just wait right here for it...wtf?!"

I think we're showing promise, but we're just not a good team. We can be competitive with everyone besides Green Bay, but we're going to get and need a high draft pick.

I'm hoping Kevin White gets on the field so he won't be a rookie next year

Langford looked good. That catch

Defense was able to limit them to field goals

Jay with the key passes

Good road victory

good comeback win on the road

thats the difference with this season team
there are better coaches on the sideline/coach box
that can adjust during the
game

not that much talent on the team but coach fox
got them to play hard in each game this season

GO BEARS

For the first time I was actually impressed with the offensive play calling by Gase. He called a great game, the ENTIRE game for once.

Langford made amends for that crucial drop last game. Jeffery got angry with Verret sonnin' him early and started beastin'.

I'm still havin a hard time projecting our Defense into the future though. Whats it gonna take to get us to the next level there? Back to a Bears D? I guess some more corners, but do we cultivate the young talent there,go the FA route, or draft more young talent? Also, we have talent at LB, but I feel like we need even more explosiveness there. And speed. Someone like that dude that plays for Notre Dame...a quick rangy LB..

Anyway, good to get Ws...we'll see how things go from here...

He has them playing hard until the end

Didn't know Langford could catch like that

and Alshon has come up big after that hammy. Amazing we've never had a receiver get three 100 yard games in a row. :smh:

Yeah man, BEARS WRs and QBs have been futile positions historically.

Sweetness aka Walter Payton has the most Receptions (492) in team history.
If Matt Forte (468 receptions) comes back healthy this season,
he may break the team reception record.

WR Johnny Morris, 1958-1967 still has the most receptions (356) by any BEARs WR.
B.Marshall was only here for 3 seasons and have broken many receiving records.

It's kind of embarrassing when you think about the QBs and WRs
records that are over 70 to 50 years old.
:smh:

When Forte gets healthy, what do you do :dunno:

Langford is balling

Make Forte the third down back :dunno:

IF there was any doubt that this is Forte's last year in Chicago, Langford is removing it play by play; had he not dropped that pass in OT against Minnesota this team is at at lease .500....dude looks like the future with each snap.

lol fisher

instead of drafting a real qb you just plug n play with a trash ass quarterback that everyone on the earth knew was trash

knew it!

offensive line good. weapons everywhere. defense is crazy as fuck and you guys bout to be 4-5 cause nick foles is your qb

Yea I like what I see from Langford....AND Carey. Loving the distribution in carries and play calling today. Miller is doin his thing too, finally stayed healthy enough to stay on the field (knock on wood).

This dude Mariani tho :smh:....these coaches realize we are getting NOTHING in the return game this year?? Its insane!

The confidence is growing, another big road game

The Broncos next week

complete the sweep of the AFC West :dunno:

There must NO ONE on the street who can return kicks because not only can Mariani not get any return yardage but he's not even sure handed enough to secure the ball.

Someone needs to show them film of Hester, Daniel Manning, Azumah and Vasher and let them know that THAT is what we're used to.

Right. People thought it was all Hester, but special teams in the Chi were great for awhile. It's been awhile since I heard Jerry Azumah!!!

Langford been doing his thang the last two games.
Got a feeling Forte wont be back.
Maybe he signs wit hthe Broncos next year.
:dunno:

Btw...that Rams defense aint a mediocre defense....fyi. THey missing a key Pro-LB, but they rarely allow running backs to own them like Langford did today. Go check!!

Bears defense has actually been good this year...if you all didnt know. Take away a few fucks ups/big plays here and there and the Bears are in 90% of the games that theyve played this year. ANd thats even with a shit load of injuries.

Bears win 2 in a row...Packshits lose 3 in a row.
Vikings sitting @ 1 right now. But I can honestly see them losing 3-4 straight starting next week. I dont believe in them.

Kyle was talking about the Bears making a playoff run this year. Yeah...this year. :hmm:. I dont know about all that...but the way the Bears are playing...i wouldnt be shocked if we made a late season push. We're playin with a lot of confidence.

Like Ive stated before....we've had a tough schedule. Only be blown out 2 times. ANd those two blow outs were mainly because 1) cutler got hurt and 2) the defense slipped on a few plays.

Ive been impressed with what this new staff has done with this team, Cutler etc. Looking forward to seeing what we do when we're all healthy.

BEARS!!!!!!!

The last two times they've played Denver, the Bears have lost to Tim Tebow and Brock Osweiler........:suicide:

Man Fox and the OC went too conservative on that two point play. You weren't going to get them twice with a run up the middle.

Good game by the D. Offense played about how I expected against Denvers D. All in all, sucks to lose at home. But with the expectations so low I'm not mad. They're not getting embarrassed, they're developing players to be here going forward, and I'm good with it.

Concur. Cutler has been your best weapon all season (giving points to the fact he's played every game this year as opposed to Forte who's missed the last three) and you take the ball out of his hands, especially when Bennett spent just about the entire 2nd half being defended by Broncos that he had a SIGNIFICANT height advantage on? WTF! :smh:

Respectfully I differ in opinion fam; that's now THREE winnable games that this team has let walk away; in a year when few were expecting much it makes it even more nauseating that the Detroit, Minnesota, and now this one were all there for the taking, the first two w/o the multitude f Cutler mistakes that had become the norm, and we whiffed on all three; granted with Alshon and/or Forte playing today I think we win but this close losses....it's a year by year league and the moral victories are :smh:

I feel you. The Bears COULD be 7-3, realistically SHOULD BE 6-4. But this isn't a team full of talent and the mistakes that lead to those close losses are exactly what I expect from a team without a bunch of talent. It sucks, but this team was getting embarrassed last year. On some old school New Orleans Aints shit. Now they look like a team that fights. Of course ID prefer wins, but I see progress and for me, that all I ask for.

I was pretty much embarrassed to say I was a Bears fan last year.

This year, despite the record I can hold my head proudly

Last year teams were going up and down the field and putting up 40 against us.

My expectations aren't low at all, because we've been in almost every game.
