Lemmas ask you this.. Where do "barely" wins go in the Win/Loss column? Im just askin. And with all the adjustments that they made, which by the way GS didnt make any, they still barely won; at home on a back end of back to back...

Umm steals dont negate or determine whether turnovers are forced or unforced. Dont work like that. The 8 turnovers in Q1 were mostly not forced.
And Parker played great defense man. Mills had a dam good game as well... Impact was outside of scoring.
And with all the adjustments that they made, which by the way GS didnt make any, they still barely won; at home on a back end of back to back...
Spurs had 14 turnovers and the Warriors had 11 so they were about even. I would definitely be worried if I were the Spurs because for a second game Golden State shut down their offense.I wouldn't be. Your points are mitigated by the fact that the Spurs had almost as twice as many turnovers. That's the only reason they kept the game close. But they were able to shut down Curry in the 4th.
Amajor is right haven't won there since i was shitting in pampersLol, at least you can admit that. But I understand. It's a new feeling, lol.
Aye I'm just looking at the game what went right and what went wrong. What was the difference. who played good who didn't and why didn't they. none of this means i don't respect the win the spurs got but if you try and box someone in to where they can't even talk about the loss or discuss counter talking points, you just have to say a team won and be quiet then what's the point of this thread? and if that's the rule then it is the rule going forward then lol.

It's been like that since I've been this board (2007).
Wrong. The Spurs had 17. Warriors had 10. That's not nowhere near even.Spurs had 14 turnovers and the Warriors had 11 so they were about even.
I wouldn't be. Especially if they're confident in shutting Curry down like how they did.I would definitely be worried if I were the Spurs because for a second game Golden State shut down their offense.

i was well aware of that. i got what i wanted though. I wanted them to fight, try and see what happens. i can accept the l. they showed up. they didn't win but they showed up and played hard and sometimes it isn't there like last night. they're good enough to support the fact that, that is an anomaly not the norm. klay and steph have had off nights like this... and usually they only need 1 of them scoring in order to win.
will be interesting developments going forward.
I know what you saying and I feel ya; Im just not impressed with the win; A win is a win I agree; I just expected the spurs to dominate that game, and they didnt; It was kinda interesting to me that GS had opportunities to win that game; Im not a believer in the Spurs win the play GS; You know that nba basketball is about matchups, especially in the playoffs; and the spurs have no dominant matchups against GS; GS wins in 6 maybe 5...A win is a win, Day. You know this. This ain't the Bucks we talking about. Both of these teams are trying to stay healthy enough to even see each other in e playoffs. And a MAJOR injury on either side change the entire dynamics of these discussions. I place no significance on how the game was won by the Spurs or lost by the Warriors. the standing did change only the game to the 1st place spot. Now these teams don't have to think about each other until mid April. And likely not again until late May or June!
I'm honest in saying I don't know what to expect between either team. Warriors are great, but I can not ignore a team that is only 3 games behind a team that is chasing the Bulls record. That doesn't make sense to me. I just don't know what to expect. I know you do, but I don't.
Not really lol only in certain spots. Depending on who the mob likes or dislikes but i always buck trends and am always me lol
If you can only hope for a close game under those circumstances than you may be in serious trouble. The game showed again that the Spurs have a hard time scoring points against Golden State.Bruh, you acting GS is a bum team though, lol. They ain't lost 7 games on no fluke ish. Why are kats in here saying they should have got their ass whipped? No, theyre a great team that is defending a title. They are not going to lay down just because they were short handed on a back to back. They did what I expect a championship team to do, which is play to the last second and give your chance to win. They did that and lost. Chalk it up. The only thing I took from that game last night is that the gap is closer for the 1 spot in the west. That's it.
Pop understands that he can't out score that team when it is in the 100s. I've been saying all season you ain't going to beat GS playing their style. You have to win playing yours. Coaches don't approach games saying we going to play the other teams styles. Good teams force you to play theirs.

Parker, Manu, and Green are pretty useless against the Spurs and when Iggy is in the line up Boris Dia is made useless as Iggy has his way with him. So that leaves k Leonord and Aldridge to carry the team. The problem I see with the Spurs is outside those two no one can consistently score.
Spurs are a great team that simply does not match up with GSw. Watch how the heat pick apart the Spurs next week.
People now see how important Iggy is to the Warriors. Just like how Bosh was so important to the Heat. With Iggy, Diaw is exposed on the offensive end as Diaw and Aldridge are a joke when it comes to rim protection and defending on the perimeter.I disagree I think they did great especially on the perimeter.
And if 7 were unforced where did 12 steals come from?
Parker and Mills were a non factor. Kawai didn't have his usually pretty dominant performance from driving and posting up.
down low is where they were hurt letting diaw get points and be effective and aldridge finally had a game that he was supposed to have.
Also the lane was open due to no rim protector in the game which the spurs rightly took advantage of but what killed the warriors last night were the rebounds. spurs got tons of 2nd chance points that sometimes led to timely 3s which were the difference.
spurs killed the boards completely.

Being happy with those type of wins is called "Fools Gold". Being content with those kind of victories are just an ass whooping waiting to happen.Hard time scoring with a win. I don't know. I think my philosophy of the game is different. I would be completely fine winning a low scoring game and shitty on top of that. I guess that's why I liked those 2004 Pistons so much.

The Pistons ain't walking through that doorThat's your opinion, family. Teams have won ships with that style against great teams. They have also lost.

Bruh you a Heat fan. Was you saying that when the Spurs was giving the Heat that work in the playoffs the year the heat won a ship against SA? Of course you wasn't because you knew that SA wasn't that much better than the heat.
All I'm saying is, none of that really matters when teams are great. You get your ass busted and you come out with a different mentality the next game.
U know I bleed black and red
Stop with the non sense.
