2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Ok... so in less than 25 mins he had 31 points, had Steph in foul trouble to the point they had to hide him from guarding him, and had his team up 26 points (this is not including the 4th).... Sounds like a roasting to me (8 minutes a quarter) :hmm:

Heard on TV they played him the 4th to send a message... Wouldn't have done that when you got to see them 2 more times though...

Nah the roast came in the 4th qt..

Yeah they see GS 2 more times..

Steph couldn't stopped a nose bleed if he wanted too, I'm surprise more guards matched up against him don't go at him..like they worry too much about stopping him than going at him..it's nice to see a player make the son of basketball Jesus work too

We'll see tonight if Golden State lost because they were looking towards the Clippers

Portland is a tough place to play

I feel you but part of what made them "special" was that they took it one game at a time and didn't get caught in trap games. They simply were not prepared, weren't into it and got their ass whooped for it. 1 team was out to send a message and the warriors just showed up. Part of their success this season was the fact that even though they were getting every teams best shot every night, they were trying to give every team their best shot too to prove that it's not a fluke. last night was none of that just based on the score and the defense alone. defense alone i know they weren't dialed in and intense as they should have been off top.

It sounds good but it's really not that at all. It's the help defense and the team defense overall that stops people. The warriors have probably 3 defensive stoppers really. But collectively they communicate and mesh so well it don't really matter. Guards score all the time on Curry so that's not it. The overall team defense had to have been extremely suspect...completely suspect last night and they got what they deserved.

I was actually out so I didn't see the game. My boy told me the score. All I can say is got that ass whooped tonight. Here when the wins come. Here when the losses come too.
Yup... no way around it GS got tossed tonight.... could be good tho... they should take NO team lightly cz every team will put out max effort against them. Props to the Blazers...

5 loses ass ninjas.

Y'all ain't disappointed at all.

Mavs got David Lee

Of course they did. One more nigga to take minutes away from Powell. They ass man. Like why waste my time with this shit if you the Mavs? Hell if Joe Johnson gets bought out I could see that move ok. But this shit man......David Lee ain't shit. I'd rather watch Powell.

Agreed

Kevin Martin another target

To take minutes away from Justin Anderson

The offensive flow Steve Kerr has designed may be one of the most fluid and beautiful sets ever! Literally no ISO ball, and the timed cuts are almost unguardable...

He is really an amazing Coach... Best coach in the league this season without question...

Pretty good game.

I like the intensity. I always felt the clippers play GS well, they just havent been able to get over the hump. I think a GS and clippers matchup would be an epic series.

Regardless of how this game turns out, I still think the Clips play GS well.

The bench is the ultimate downfall for the clippers, but they are definitely playing with more team cohesiveness without Blake.

warriors the only team in the league im hearing announcers saying its better for the team that all these people are injured lol curry was ass tonight still won easy

Clippers played hard tonight. To me that was clear. They didn't always play smart, but I can say the effort was there for the most part.

Clips played Curry fairly well.

OKC is in the convo too, but honestly, I don't think any of them can survive GS bench in a 7 game series.

The first two loses were on Doc, This game they needed blake bad. DJ should have never got a max contract, you cant throw him the ball down low because he has no post moves. If blake was there it would have been easy to go small and have blake at the 5 and you can give him the ball against Dremond

I don't know. DJ controlled the boards tonight, which is an advantage for the Clips, but Dray's ability to pull DJ out the paint hurts too. The ball has a tendency to stick in Blake's hands, which I believe, takes ball movement away from the offense. Ball movement is a way to make GS work on defense, but too many teams are running these 1 or 2 man games against them.

It was easy for him to control the boards because neither Festus or Bogut played; Clips aint beating GS no matter who plays though...

"Less than 30 games left, Bulls record likely shattered!!!"

Which means they cant lose more than 5 games.

I see them losing to the Spurs 2 out of the next 3.
The Thunder at least once.....
And Clipper once....
1-2 sleepers getting a close win vs the Warriors aint out of the question.

I see them going 72-10...like the Bulls..but not breaking the record.

imma quote my post when i happens.

So I guess GS is gonna lose to the Clips when they play them at home the next time? Right Chitown??.....:ssshhh:
