2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Yea well my lineup is just mainly for the 2nd unit. You need a guard to control the pace against livingston and leonard can lock of barbosa. everything else the talent is just there and higher
people not even appreciated the warriors havent' been fully healthy this entire year. whole starting five plus 4 on the bench have missed time due to injury. they're missing ezili right now..you think speights is supposed to be with the 2nd unit? he's a 3rd unit player playing 2nd unit minutes.

Speights is the only player on the Warriors I don't like. I just don't like that ninja for some reason, lol.

Same thing Bron does, would really work?

The key is defense. Use your defense to generate offense. That's what made the heat dangerous. That what the warriors do. Scoring ain't the issue for many of these teams. It's their defense.

That's what I'm saying they both play the same way basically with Melo being more aggressively offensively and Lebron being a more willing distributor but they still do the same shit and want their teammates to be a certain type of way

I don't know how it would work

There's nothing to really like he's undersized hella slow but he got the old man 15 footer down. he's a killer with the 3rd unit in a blowout because he can get buckets but good enough to actually run with the 2nd unit which is crazy
think about someone like rush who started for harrison barnes when he got injured and now can't even get in the game lol

What's the trade rumors?

Will Hoeward for Whiteside happen?

Blake Griffin on the move?

Read the Knicks are looking for a point guard

Hoeward may want to get traded to his hometown Atlanta Hawks

I can see Whiteside/Howard trade. Both organizations are sick of both

Howard would for right in with the Riley /Spo defense mindset. Bosh and Wade are unselfish enough to make sure he gets his numbers.
I could see some nice teamwork between Gorgon and Howard as well. Add to that being back in the East.

I agree. Surprisingly, Howard is a great fit in Miami.

It's amazing how a team can go from 60 wins and a conference finals appearance to blowing up the entire team

Not really.
They were full strength and got swept by a hobbled cavs team. Swept
They just waited too long to do it they should have done this shit before the season started.
Together they just not good enough

But usually your a piece away not blowing up the entire team. If you went a few seasons and failed I could see but after just one season and lose to a team (albeit swept) that everybody expected you too lose to is shocking.

I saw it as last year was their max
They have a bunch of good players. No great ones and if they keep winning they won't get a draft pick high enough to get one

I just would want to give it another go to see how my roster reacts playing against the Cavs again. There's no team that's head and shoulders above everyone else. This could be their year

just getting madder as i think about the hawks blowing this team up.only nba team available to watch and go see in my area now they fin to be garbage again.smh

if the warriors can start the remainder of the season w/ another 26-0 run then that 74 wins w/ 4 games to spare :eek2:

Report: Cavaliers offering Iman Shumpert in deals to shore up bench
Iman Shumpert has struggled this season in Cleveland. Expected to provide defense and floor-spacing shooting, he has taken a step back from what he gave them in the playoffs last season (as evidenced by his PER of 8.3, the kind of number you expect from a guy bouncing between the D-League and NBA). He’s an athletic defender who is good but not as good as his reputation (the Cavs defense is 0.9 points per 100 possessions better when he is on the court rather than off it). He is shooting just 32.2 percent from three, and he spends time trying to create shots rather than playing a catch-and-shoot outlet for LeBron James or Kyrie Irving.

The bottom line, depending on what stats you use, the Cavaliers are either a little bit better or a little bit worse with him on the court, but he’s not making the impact of a guy who signed a four-year, $40 million contract this summer.

The Cavaliers want a deeper bench heading into the playoffs, and they are shopping Shumpert to see if they can get it, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

Sources say that the Cavs, though, have been more and more active in recent days in pursuing upgrades to their bench, with center Timofey Mozgov and swingman Iman Shumpert — both in the midst of down seasons after their midseason arrivals in 2014-15 — said to be available. Players who interest Cleveland, sources say, include dream target Kyle Korver (who would naturally be very difficult to pry from Atlanta) and Kings reserves Ben McLemore and Kosta Koufos.

Korver is a pipe dream, the Hawks are asking a lot for their key pieces right now. The Kings are shopping McLemore, and he is shooting better from three (37.5 percent), but he is a considerably worse defender than Shumpert. Yes, you could trade the four players Stein mentions for each other, but why would the Kings do that?

That said, don’t be shocked if a lot of Shumpert rumors come up this week.

Report: Cavaliers want another star, not role players/draft picks, in Kevin Love trade
LeBron James declared the Kevin Love trade rumors to be “false.”

The Cavaliers probably won’t trade Love. They might even know enough about the current market to know they won’t find a suitable Love deal by the trade deadline.

But that doesn’t mean they made him untouchable.

Marc Stein and Brian Windhorst of ESPN:

League sources say that the Cavs have made it clear to interested teams — starting, of course, with the Love-hungry Boston Celtics — that they’d covet a star in return if or when they do reach the point of letting Love go … and not a package of draft picks and role players like the Celtics are offering.

Of course, the Cavaliers don’t place as much value into draft picks. They’re trying to win a championship this season.

But it seemed a strong collection of lesser players – say Jae Crowder, Kelly Olynyk andDavid Lee – could strengthen Cleveland.

If the Cavs are set on getting a star if they trade Love, that seems unlikely. Which team would trade a player better than Love for Love? His five-year contract provides stability, but that also helps Cleveland.

Perhaps, a three-way trade – where Boston sends commensurate value in young players and picks to a team ready to unload a star – would work. That’s why the Carmelo Anthonyrumors made some sense, but Carmelo Anthony has significant incentive to use his no-trade clause to block any deals this season.

When I read this report, I just see more reason to believe Cleveland isn’t trading Love this week.

Shump been a bum, so surprises here :hmm:

lol that's a ridiculous mark man. another 26-0 run.
i dont know if they get to 70 wins.

I think they are going to get it.. They will do their same formula.. Get up big by 20-30 pts and have the bench sustain the lead while Steph shit out more 4th quarters only playing 25-30 mins a game lmaoo
