2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Yup parker is going to be younger at the end of the year and grow 5 inches

the spurs beat teams who aren't discipline and who don't practice good ball movement. then they take advantage of those teams not doing good on the defensive end.

none of that described the warriors.

Why are you even acknowledging that dick pumping coon?

Yup we yell cheat code this cheat code that...I may be wrong bout this but seem like most of his doings is within the offense...

no ALL OF IT is within the offense. that's why you can't defend it. None of it is forced and he has the green light AND he is a guy who only takes the green light if he knows he's on or if it's a timely shot.

Last night from the 2nd shot on, those of you who were with me live, heard me say curry was on fire. If you watch them you can tell when he's on and when he's not. And even when he's not he's still damn good but when he's on he gets 37 in 28 minutes.

He took 20 shots.

He's not jacking up 35 shots.

I'm saying look at the offense and how it flows whoever has the hot hand that's who gets it. When curry was out and klay had a nice run they fed him the rock green scored when it made sense he didn't care about scoring

the entire team doesn't

If Curry sees a clear shot at the rim no matter how small the space he's taking that shot and making it more times than missing.. As a defense that shit is demoralizing..

he hit 3 3 pointers off of loose balls and missed rebounds the teammates found him he's wide open and you know its in. he did that 3 different times.

like i was saying, right now at least the margin of error is so small. So small. You have to take care of the ball, you have to keep pace, you have to defend them. You have to keep livingston and them from extending the lead against your 2nd unit.. livingston came in on parker and they just ate that shit alive the entire time. parker couldn't get around livingston and he was getting posted up and so was patty mills. now what do you do with that 2nd unit?

just right NOW they look hard to beat. things can change but right now they're dialed in. people keep moving the goal post though.

to start it was well you didn't play the clippers- beat em

then it was well wait until you play the cavs and the bulls

swept the season series.

well you haven't played the spurs

dominated.

next up the thunder.

the thunder are the team i think can lightweight hang because westbrook is not kyrie or parker
westbrook is not going to sit around and let you do those things. he's very much a fuck this shit we not losing this and we gonna run just as fast if not faster than you type of guy.

Werd... However the thunder 2nd unit and holding GS second unit.. That's the key lol

That's an understatement. I haven't seen anything like this since the 72-win Bulls. Curry is top five in scoring if you just take the first 3 quarters. He is having arguably the best season any player has ever had. Green is a beast that should be starting in the all-star game. Still can't believe TT compared himself to Green.
Jury still out on them

Yup you gotta have that fuck attitude...
They have that fuck it state of mind from jump.

Green likely gonna have more motivation, not being name a starter.

It just ain't stopping, they came into the season fired up about title not being respected.
Curry wasn't happy for finishing 3rd in the finals MVP voting....

That plenty of rage for those consistent high energy guys...:smh:

I still think the Cavs can matchup, maybe next year...because they're in a transformation period....(from top to bottom, everybody has to be on the same page)
Lebron can get you there but it's a team game and everybody gotta do theyre parts.

The fucked up part about the Cavs vs Warriors is it's only been "ONCE" where both clubs were in tip top shape.

Thunder cant beat them because they dont play good enough defense and their offense becomes stagnant at times..no one is beating them in a series...

Heres the thing about the Cavs; their 2nd and 3rd best players have bad match ups against the warriors; Green can easily handle, basically dominate, Love; and Irving cant stop Curry at all; They only have 1 advantage and thats LBJ and he cant do it by himself; every other matchup on the court belongs to GS; Cavs cant win like that...

Well the half court set tends to get ugly, and thats what you want the game tempo to be... The problem with playing that way is that if you let them jump out to a big lead, you are going to have to speed up the tempo thus risking a blow out...
But its the only strategy you need if you want to have a shot of constantly beating the Warriors..

Here is the thing; GS can play in the half court lol; They play just as good in the half court as they do up tempo; Why, well because they share/pass the ball; their team has a high basketball IQ and their offense is constantly moving; They are tailored made for the halfcourt; thats why I keep telling you it doesnt matter; fast or slow they gonna win...

I keep telling these cats if they stay healthy and keep their team together, they will go on an epic run; Barnes, Thompson, Green, Festus, havent even come close to their ceilings yet; Hell Curry is still improving; Thats 3/4 starters that are still getting better!!!!!!; They are so young; Im telling you ninjas, we havent seen something like this since the 80 lakers and celtics; And TT is a fool; I told you Gene he was a bum last year; I just dont see why the Cavs paid him that money....

Thunder cant beat them because they dont play good enough defense and their offense becomes stagnant at times..no one is beating them in a series...

i never predicted a win. i said they can score. their defensive effort will come into question but their scoring and killer instinct matches the warriors even when it doesn't work out for them...

also they are the super stars who have managed to figure out how to play FULLY together.

like with the cavs, lebron is going to drop 40 and kyrie and love will have 15 combined.

kyrie drops 50 and lebron will have 17 and love will have 11.

but with the thunder durant will drop a healthy 40 on you and westbrook will drop that 30 on you on the same night.

im editing this because i just watched the highlights and durant had 40 tonight and westbrook had 30 with damn near a triple double.

they know how to play together regardless of how many times a year the media tries to say they hate each other.

well everyone keeps fueling it. i love it. i enjoy the hurdles people keep putting on them instead of respecting what they've done.

it went from well you got the best record from start to finish, best offense and defense and have the league mvp but can you do it in the playoffs?

do it in the playoffs... well you didn't have to play the clippers or the spurs and the cavs weren't healthy that ring don't count you won on an easy year and harden was the real mvp.

then they have to beat the cavs have to beat the bulls have to play the spurs to see where they're at now we're down to the thunder. next they gonna say well they gotta play utah so we can see if their young talent matches up with theirs....

how about the warriors didn't have their coach for the 1st HALF OF THE YEAR.
we sit here and talk about coaching. we talk about who's a good coach. we talk about blatt being bad. we talk about doc and all of that shit but they ain't even have their coach....no mention.

oh they're so healthy.

really?

every starter has missed a game this season. every single one. as well as reserves have been out at one point. still have the best record.

keep it coming though you see how they respond to the shit.

Folks wanna talk about GS, Spurs and a team w/ a good record, but aint gonna win a title (Cavs), but the Thunder still getting ignored. Im surprised that Durant is still able to ball. I actually thought he would fall off a bit after his injury.

All the regular season owning is good to watch.....but still. These aint 7 game series. "Middle of the pack defense" or not....adjustments will be made. I think the Warriors will have a tougher test this year. That shit last year..... (Pelicans, Mem, Hou and basically, just LBJ) was just a teaser. If things stay similar to how they are.....the Warrios will probably play OKC R2....and if they make it past them....Spurs WCF....if they make it to the finals....a healthy Cavs team.

We'll see how it goes.

If things stay how they are GS will play Clips in round 2; The Spurs and OKC would play in round 2 also...

Mask got some questions for you...

Mask do you think the warriors will beat the bulls regular season record? Also who in your mind will beat them this year if any? Can and/will anyone beat the Cavs in the east? I still havent figured out Miami yet; What do you think about them? The whole east to me is very up and down; West is top heavy, bottom is bullshit; I like the Jazz young core; Do you think they have the best young core(besides GS)? Do you think the Clips should trade Blake? what about the Cavs trading Love?; any of you basketball heads can chime in if you like; except RR I dont wont his over analysis ass talking:lol::lol::lol:

I'm think 73-11

Can and/will anyone beat the Cavs in the east?

Cavs is still top 3, first in east... I think we bout to see the Cavs team we been waiting on...it's funny they started really pushing around this time last year after those trades...

I still havent figured out Miami yet; What do you think about them?

Man "Let Go Heat" is a mess, They need to play faster but they need to play Spo grind out ball...

The whole east to me is very up and down;

The easy is solid 1-10(Knicks is my 11th)

West is top heavy, bottom is bullshit; I like the Jazz young core; Do you think they have the best young core(besides GS)?

Jazz is nice, but they're the jazz...best young core would be Boston, them Minn. but they're Minny :smh:

Do you think the Clips should trade Blake?

Clippers trade Blake and return to the bottom. CP3 is up in age...that probably should be the first option.

what about the Cavs trading Love?;

Man I don't have a problem with Love. They haven't done right by him anyway.
Feature him, flow thru him, everybody else gonna eat.

If they want to, me personally I want Ryan Anderson but money won't work straight up...

Kings backup center looks promising also...

any of you basketball heads can chime in if you like; except RR I dont wont his over analysis ass talking

Yes, I think the Warriors will break the Bulls record.

No, I do not see anyone beating them in 7. The only possibilities would be the Spurs, OKC, and the Clips. I say the Clips because they do have a tendency to play the Warriors well. They just can't get over the hump, but considering how discombobulated they have been during this up and down season for them, that possibility is very slim.

I'm not sold on the Cavs doing anything outside of the East during the playoffs. That team is not even close to being ready to handle GS or the Spurs in 7. They could handle OKC because KD be bitching up when he plays LB.

The East is doing well. Very competitive and building of players and core units has gave for solid foundations for the future. Chicago is like Memphis. Good, but gravely underachieved over the last 5 years. That window is closing for these two teams and unless they make a solid trade or free agent signing, these teams will likely be going into rebuilding mode.

I like Minny and the Bucks as my favorite young squads. Utah is cool too, but I'm not a huge fan of how they play. I really like Minny though. Towns is the future for big men in the league and Wiggins has a solid future. Under the guidance of KG, maybe he can put together some championship pedigree in Minny. I really like the Bucks though. They're a fun team. Not a lick of shooting on the court, but them boys have potential to be a defensive juggernaut teams.

I think if the Clips trade Blake, they would become more team cohesive. Blake is just a stat filler. Not a game changer. His impact on the game really isn't felt. He is not very good defensively either. Clips won't trade him because he is worth too much, but maybe the trouble he has go into recently will hurt is value some. But trading Blake will definitely take them out of the elite status.

Cavs can't trade Love unless they pick up a pure shooter. Love is one of the best shooters they have on the teams, so he is going to keep the floor spread. If you can replace love with a good consistent shooter, then it would make sense to trade him. Love stays. As Mask said, Ryan Anderson would be an interesting pick up for sure.

To be honest they can pull Anderson in with getting rid of love...that depth would be deep...

That's if things are as they seem with Tmo(1 is for sure he gonna want $$$$ & 2 he feels like an outsider)

Trade TMo & 2 million trade exception to nola for Anderson...

That will free up minutes for Andy as the backup to TT.

More energy in the front court

while adding shooting and spacing...

1st unit:
Irving
Smith
James
Love
TT

2nd unit:
Delly
Shum
Jefferson
Anderson
Andy

What do you think bout that

I get it but that second unit is still mad suspect. I think it's because of Jefferson. Then again it may workout better.

Right you also have to think when have the 2nd unit actually manned the floor as a whole.

Also factor in Mo Wiliams with Delly whenever he iron out his problem

Inkosi broke Kobe's record tonight. Hit the 26,000 points mark. To put it in perspective, Tim Duncan just passed 26,000 this season, and he came in the league 6 years before him. Bron also passed Derek Harper to move up to 20th all time in assists (6,582). He and Oscar Robertson are the only 2 players in NBA history to be top 20 in career points and career assists.

I don't know what's worse, the shooting or the defense

They're using Scott to get a top three pick and then he's probably gone.

Cavs gonna get that probably by trading Love to Lakers for that pick which would turn out to be Ben  sorry 76ers...
