Warriors do whatever they want to do.
Love what the Pacers are doing! Attacking them lil Niggas, fuck a 3!!
Thompson suffers an ankle injury
You would think after 22 games that ninjas would figure that out
You ain't going to beat them at their own game. They own the small ball and 3 point game.
up 32... they let them get way too close... oh well.... a wins a win and 23-0
I don't get this either...y'all wants to go small we gonna pound you inside and pound it some more...
33 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks for Inkosi tonight in Portland. Karl Malone shit.

Seriously. The math already says if a team and GS shoots 35 3 pointers apiece, that GS will win that percentage every time. The best thing to do is to constantly attack them in the paint like they do from the 3 point line. You got to put pressure on them to defend inside if they want to play small.

Lol
Bogut is 7ft ezili is 6"10 or so. State isn't small. I think that's the biggest misconception about them. They go small at times but they really aren't small. And in order to do what you say you need 2 skilled big men in the post. With lights out perimeter d.
The score so many points in the paint it's silly. It doesn't get recognized because it's not a big man back to the basket doing it but how many alleys and cuts and curry layups do folks need to see before they recognize.
The difference is curry is special and they rebound great and their rebounder can start the break. That's where they win. Rebounding.
When they miss shots they get easy tips or kick it out for a quick reset 3 pointer
On top of sharing the ball.
You are going to have to outscore them and mudding the game up won't really do it. You get hard fought 2s and they come and hit 3s. After the finals where they got ducked into slowing the pace down for 3 games they realized they don't need to slow it down whether you do or not. That changed everything once that light bulb went off they won every game since
Granted they have Bogut and Ezili and you don't have to have two skilled big men to attack GS. Teams that have at least played GS close have done one thing in common. Slow the pace and attack the inside. It's absurd to try and out shoot them. Toronto done that very well the other night. It's was just Steph being special that won that game.
Good teams make other teams play THEIR style. That's the nature of the game. And because the way GS plays is the way just about every team in the league wants to play, teams get caught up in GS trap. And you know as well as I know the main reason GS won that series after they switched their line up was because the Cavs stopped doing what they was doing to win in the first place. The Cavs adjusted their game to what GS wanted to do. The Cavs was successful attacking and playing bigger. Isn't this the most fundamental approach to any game. Stick to the game plan. Just because a teams makes lineup adjustments doesn't mean the game plan changes.
Plus GS shoots a lot of shots. Indiana, tonight, wasn't scoring like that before playing GS. The math is there. GS shot attempts versus FG percentage is off the charts. But those high volume of shot attempts are coming from other teams shooting early in the clock as well. Those teams are not as efficient, so they must have a slower paced game so they can stay in the game.
Warriors do whatever they want to do.
Mofos are not going to be GS at their own game.
Thompson suffers an ankle injury
Bruh GS had the 3rd stringers out there playing that's the only reason the Pacers got back in it

Cavs lost because Bogut stopped playing. That was the difference. Cavs big a beat him on the boards and down the court. Along with LeBron playing the best he's ever played in his life
That gets lost in translation. LeBron put up historic numbers over those 3 games and they won 2. When he put up regular numbers like 26pts and 8 assists and shit the games weren't close.
But all that is the past
Right now pounding the inside sounds good. You just have to be willing to trade 2 for 3s and like I said it don't matter if you slow it down when they get the ball they're not.
They're going to run on makes and misses so good luck
Mofos arent beating GS at any game!!!
Only thing that will derail them is injuries
Exactly
Like Memphis tries to do lol ok; Dude no team in the NBA is going to attack GS in the paint and win consistently, not happening
I agree/concur; They constantly outrebound their opponents and score huge amounts of points in the paint; its a misnomer that GS plays small ball but people who really dont watch the game will continue to believe that...
Pop gonna figure out what?? lol u guys continue to think Spurs will beat them if you want to; Basketball is a game of matchups and the Spurs have no dominant matchups over GS, none!!! so in a seven game series, unless GS is hurt, Spurs will get worked as well...
The math is not there; GS can play any type of game; Thats what most people dont understand; They can play halfcourt or run and gun; It doesnt matter because of how their team is constructed; No team is beating them over a course of a series because no team in the NBA has dominant matchups over them; Look at all the teams, no team can consistently match their backcourt and most teams cant even match their frontcourt; Have u seen teams try to play a slow down game against them; Those teams get blown out more...
You keep thinking "pounding inside" is going to matter if you want to...

Yep! The games are over in the first quarter but teams don't know it. Like last night, Indy was doing great, up 13-7, GS hits two 3s to cut it to one, and instead of taking a deep breath, sticking with their game plan Indy panicked and started to play GS's game, and no team in the league can beat them at that game! In the 4th when Indy made their run, they went back to what they were doing in the first 2 mins of the game but it was two late. GS isn't built to defend this type of attack for 48 mins. Only thing is, there aren't too many teams with the personnel to sustain it. Look at Curry in the 4th quarter missing those FTs?! He was tired! If teams force them to play defense physically, and not that frantic help defense stuff, it will wear them down and they won't be as effective with tired legs. Indy actually laid the blueprint in a way...
The Warriors are a very difficult team to match up against because they do many things well and if your flawed or weak in one area they will exploit it to their advantage..
So to even have a chance you have to be versatile, once you get past that the things you touched on comes to play... You have to have a good half court set, its not just slowing down the tempo like someone mentioned Memphis, its being able to execute these plays... Not only that you have to win the battle of the boards, I've seen too many games where the Warriors out hustled the team on the boards allowing them to win..
Next your going to have to have a closer, someone who can make the tough shots, all the close game that they could have lost were against bigger eastern teams who played the half court set, however one thing they were all lacking was a go to guy who can score in the clutch..
Right now on a normal day I say that only the Spurs have a chance at beating them, and if the Cavs get Irving and Shumpert back at 100 they may be the only other team who has a chance to beat them on a normal day..
The Bulls and several other teams like OKC has a punchers chance but a lot of things have to fall their way...
Well its sports, and just because you match up well doesn't mean your going to win... There is match ups and then there is execution, you have to first match up vs the Warriors but the hardest part is executing against them... This is why all my comments are based on match ups, but at the end of the day the game is played on the floor so its what they do "how they execute" that counts the most and no one has a crystal ball to determine what happens there..True, but all those things that you mentioned are intangibles. Memphis did not have any shooters to supplement their inside play. They was no threat from the outside, so beating them is very easy in a series because they can't shoot. Collapse in them down low and force them to take a bad jumper late in the shot clock. Again hustle and rebounding are intangibles. It's effort. To be out rebounded is to be out hustled.
Of course if you are going to slow the pace, you have to be able to execute. I already know how the Spurs and GS series is going to play out if they match up. The spurs is going to force the game at a slower pace. It will come down to end of game execution like all of Spurs game do. GS will show us that they can play a half court game. Curry will likely close out the end of game execution and GS will win. If not then the spurs will close. Look back at any game the spurs play and you know that early blowouts Pop throws in the towel. All he care about is having a chance to win at the end. The warriors blow teams out. We got to see some very nicely executed plays by them in the finals last year. It's going to be the same. Possessions become less in the playoffs. This is fact.
Cavs the same way. Can they close? My philosophy is just give yourself a chance to win by staying close. The Cavs actually done that in the finals. They just got out coached and GS executed some critical plays at the end.
The Raptors and by extension the Nets who would have beat them if Lopez didn't miss that bunny at the end of regulation...The raptors laid the blue print, IMO.
We all know that GS is versatile in many ways. And their is no misconception about them. To pretend they are a perfect team with no liabilities is silly. It's clear they have them. Can it be carried over a series for 7 games? That's yet to be seen this season because they are playing lights out.
This no different than when the Heat was in their shit. And to be honest, they was way more complicated to figure out because of that 3 headed monster. But their liability was that their team as a whole wasn't good enough. GS doesn't have that problem.
I put my bread on GS to win the West and I wish I would have put more. I had OKC and GS in the West finals. But the dubs are o fire.
Fuck it imma say it. If GS goes back to back, the Lebron era is over
