2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

You know we talk shit over here, I have no problems with that, but he sound like some young fan boy that is riding a little too hard for me to feel comfortable with online..
Ol boy is type suspect if you ask me..

Yeah man, may have eaten glue or some shit growing up. Just don't go back and forth with him, just agree man. Normally, people who have that type of issue need validation. Help him as much as you can you feel me?

whatever bruhs.. talking shit is good with me, but at some point you just come off as bitter haters...

Didnt see any games FUCK!!!, but from what I can gather looks like Detroit/Chicago was a great game, Clips choked again, Miami lost at home again(they in trouble), Bucks balled and battled GS to the end; Much props to them, I was wrong, thought they would get blown out; Hopefully Bucks can use this as a stepping stone to play better

If this and that, then the Clips wouldnt be choke artist, Knicks and Lakers would be good; Kyrie wouldnt be injury prone, etc etc...
Trust me the Spurs and the Cavs are taking notes because they both can do the same things the Bucks can do plus they have outside shooters and closers to finish the job..

Trust me come playoff times, 1 or more Cav player will be hurt; Also Cavs have one closer and there shooters stay hurt(not worried); Spurs have one shooter and thats green, and they have no one that can post up curry or consistently dribble penetrate from the perimeter in their backcourt; different teams and the bucks still lost; I really dont think GS is concerned and Barnes still isnt playing...

Man you are really banking on them being hurt.. You realize that Irving is playing only half of a season, with reduced mins and is changing his style of play being more of a jump shooter... Trust me if he was that fragile he would have never made it playing so reckless, being the first option, playing as many min that he played... I said before LeBron came over, he was playing incorrectly and that his style would keep him injured, its the same thing I said about Wade, Rondo and Westbrook..

Im not banking on them being hurt; Im only going by what has consistently happen in the past; Its like someone(like u) taking the Clips to win the west:lol:; Why would someone or u do that when you know whats in their dna; I on the other hand wouldnt never take the clips to win the west; because their history suggest and also what they continue to show is they are chokers; And the Cavs players every fucking year continue to show they will get or be hurt...

The Cavs played one season together, last year their bench was weak and they got mugged in Boston by a team that was more interested in injuring the Cavs rather than winning a game..
Other than that they were good.. Prior to that Irving and Love were the main focus on bad teams and their style of play is not conducive to staying healthy on those types of teams, so their past injuries comes to little surprise to me..
But now they should be good, they are deep not over extending their mins and they are not working too hard during the regular season... Matter of fact the only one I worry about getting injured is LeBron due to his age, type of style he plays and his mins he put in on the court.. As long as the have Thompson Love mins should be min and he should be good, Shump injuries are more bumps and dings so he should be good..
The only way I see them getting injured like you say is if the league allows a team to do the same shit that the Celtics pulled last year, injuring both Love and Irving on dirty ass plays...

I think the cavs suck... lebron is overrated... he's lost a lot more ships than he's won... the rest of his team is toilet paper. The LA Clits would beat the Cavs pretty bad... not to mention the Spurs.. or Grizzlies... or any other 1-8 Western Conference team...

Steph Curry-led Warriors turn tables on Bucks with late comeback

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The pregame chatter about Milwaukee's exuberant celebration after handing Golden State its first loss of the season last week carried on throughout the game, peaking in a postgame dustup betweenDraymond Green and O.J. Mayo.

Before that, the Bucks and Warriors played a thrilling game.

Stephen Curry scored 26 points and Green fueled a key fourth-quarter run that helped the Warriors avenge their only loss by beating the Bucks 121-112 on Friday night.

"I'm not satisfied because I thought we should have been better," Green said. "We're a long way past trying to beat the Milwaukee Bucks in December. We're trying to compete for a championship."

The game ended with Green and Mayo exchanging heated words before Mayo put his hand on Green's head. Green slapped it away, and Khris Middleton then pushed Green. A few other players got involved before everything was broken up and both teams retreated to their locker rooms.

"No man is going to touch my head," Green said. "Point blank."

Mayo said he was upset that Green called out Michael Carter-Williams for a post-dunk celebration at the end of Milwaukee's win last Saturday that snapped the Warriors' 28-game, regular-season winning streak dating to last season.

"Show a little respect," Mayo said. "You talk about one guy's class and then you go the same route, that's not class. They're the world champs, good luck to them for the rest of the season and the same for us."

What some thought would be a revenge-fueled blowout for Golden State turned into a hard-fought victory. The Warriors trailed by as many as 15 points in the third quarter and by 11 with less than eight minutes to play before Green and Curry took over to improve Golden State to 26-1 with their 30th straight home win in the regular season.

"We were very public about the fact that we wanted to get revenge. Then we didn't come out and play with that edge and that mentality," interim coach Luke Walton said. "If you're going to say that about another team you should expect ... they're not going to fold."

Green scored eight points in a span of 1:06 to cut Milwaukee's lead to 100-97. Curry then got fouled on a 3-pointer and made all three free throws to tie it at 100 at the midpoint of the quarter.

"We were searching," Green said. "I know I needed to step up and make plays. I was able to get a couple of buckets and spark our run. That's what we needed at that point."

The game stayed tight from there before Curry used a slick crossover to score a layup that put the Warriors up for good with just more than two minutes left. Curry got a steal on Milwaukee's next possession and made two free throws, and then fed Andre Iguodala for a 3-pointer from the corner to seal the win.

"They hit shots, and the tide turned," Bucks coach Jason Kidd said. "For us, a lot of good things came out of this. We competed. If we play with that kind of energy every time we take the court, we'll win a lot more games."

Klay Thompson added 27 points, and Green had 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

TIP-INS

Bucks: Carter-Williams scored 24 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo added 20. ... Former Warriors player Sonny Parker, who is the father of Milwaukee FJabari Parker, got a nice ovation when shown on the scoreboard in a Warriors shirt and Bucks hat.

Warriors: C Andrew Bogut did not return after the first quarter because of a back sprain. There was no further word on his prognosis. ... Curry hit a 3-pointer in the opening minute to extend his streak to 100 straight regular-season games with a 3-pointer.

HIGH-SCORING HALF

The Bucks, who are the second-lowest scoring team in the NBA, had 70 points in the first half to take a 12-point lead. They shot 60 percent in the half as they easily picked apart Golden State's defense with the highest-scoring first half against the Warriors since Oklahoma City scored 71 on Jan. 17, 2014.

"They came out, they wanted a piece of the champs, and we weren't fighting back," Walton said.

MOCKING T-SHIRTS

Golden State fans showed they can get into the T-shirt message game, too. A week after Milwaukee fans predicted Golden State's first loss with "24-1" T-shirts, a handful of Warriors fans responded by wearing shirts with "10-18" written on the front for the rematch with the Bucks in reference to what they expected Milwaukee's record to be after the game.

"They took the time out to waste money on the T-shirt, which is cool," Kidd said.

Bucks: Visit Phoenix on Sunday.

Warriors: Host Utah on Wednesday.

Impossible to talk basketball with fans of teams that are champs. We can acknowledge their greatness all day but as soon as you try to make an assessment about that team you get labeled. Heats fans done it, Celtic fans done it, laker fans done it and now it's the warrior fans. People been hating the spurs since forever so we rarely or if ever get to hear how they're fans feel, but I'm sure their fans are the same way. Fucking impossible to speak basketball with some of you ninjas.

I have teams I like and respect, but not a fan of no team. I just like basketball. I like talking about strategies and approaches to games.

Warriors-Bucks feud continues as Draymond Green, O.J. Mayo scuffle

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State forward Draymond Green and Milwaukee guard O.J. Mayo had a heated exchange after the Warriors' 121-112 win Friday night, leading team security to get between Green and Bucks players.

Green held up his hand as Mayo made contact with Green's chest after the buzzer. The two then traded words, and Mayo touched the back of Green's head. Green brushed Mayo's arm off, and some pushing and shoving between the teams ensued.

"I'm not really into talking about what guys say. What you think he said he may not have said or he may have said," Green said in the locker room. "Just, ain't no man going to touch my head. I'm a grown man. That's all I've got for you."

Asked whether that was what the altercation was mostly about, Green said, "Once again, I'm not going to go into what he said, what you think he may have said, he may have said or may not have said, but no man is going to touch my head. Point blank."

According to Bucks players, Green's comments to the media earlier this week sparked the altercation. Green publicly criticized Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams for staring down the Warriors' bench last Saturday in Golden State's lone loss of the season. Green made reference to Carter-Williams losing his starting spot, telling Bay Area radio station KNBR, "Michael Carter-Williams getting a dunk at the end of the game and looking at our bench; like, 'Dude, you lost your spot. So, it's not quite common that you should be looking toward someone's bench yelling. You've got some ground to make up.'"

Mayo said he was standing up for Carter-Williams.

"I told [Green] he's a heck of a player, but at the end of the day, that's my teammate," Mayo said. "Just respect my teammate as well as we respect you guys, and some things you shouldn't say in the media. Show your class, you know."

Mayo continued, saying of Green, "You talk about one guy's class, and then you go the same route. Not a class act."

Green wasn't the only Warrior to call out the Bucks during the week. Golden State did not take kindly to how Milwaukee celebrated Saturday's outcome.

"Oh, it was a nice celebration. We do remember that stuff," Stephen Curry said Wednesday. "We were kind of laughing at some of the stuff going on. It was a big game for them. Friday will be a big game for us."

Klay Thompson also predicted the rematch would "be fun."

"There's nothing wrong with the dunk, but the stare-down, trying to talk nasty in the game like that," Thompson said. "And it's like, 'All right, you're going to see us next Friday and in our building, too.'"

Continued Thompson: "Obviously a team that gave us our one in the loss column, and we felt they could have won with a little more class."

Carter-Williams, who started in Friday's game, said of the situation, "I think Draymond, he motivates his team in different ways. I spoke to him on it. I'm not a big fan of trying to call somebody out in the media. He spoke to me and said, 'It's all love, all part of the game. I'm just trying to get my team going.' But speaking on somebody's basketball, coming off the bench, starting, whatever, [is] something I don't think you should really do."

Green also said after Friday's win that he was not satisfied with the Warriors' performance, despite the victory.

"We should have been better," he said. "We're a long way past just beating the Milwaukee Bucks in December. We're trying to compete for a championship."

You can but they have to be objective and not on that ra ra shit... When the Heat won I was still me I never wrote one "ha ha in your face" thread.. One reason I knew I didn't actually win shit, and the next is because both winning ans losing is part of the game, but the games and the ones who get too up from winning are the ones who actually cry when their teams lose, and sorry I would never be that guy..

I get the fans perspective, especially GS, considering how many people tried to down play their championship. But they or any team is not above assessment. No team is perfect and it's up to the opponent to exploit their weakness. Yeah we know about the health issues and how healthy teams can do this or that, but in the end you have to work with what you got and play the team that's in front of you.

They get mad when you talk about how you should play them and the styles it takes to give them trouble... When your the top team this is the subject that is the most fun, and is the conversation that is most interesting... I am the first one to say, just because you match up well doesn't mean your going to beat them, its all about the actual execution... But I guess they want us to sit back and preach that they are unbeatable and that match ups don't matter... Now that would be a boring conversation...

Mayo shouldve punched Green in his face.

Really wish the Bucks and Warriors played 2 more times. Kidd had them boys ready to play.
