Massagod bait

I'm kinda wondering if the Cavs gonna get credit now, regarding they're depth.

No Kyrie, Shum nor Williams

Thats that bullshit espn theory... How they explain Kobe sucky record against LeBron also, he takes it easy also?

Buddy, I play ball and I see it with my own eyes. Fuck ESPN. I don't know what's going on there commentary wise. I'll watch some games but that's about it.

KD is too cool sometimes. Same with PG. And that's my team. I wish they would pounce on dude like KL.

But thats his game, so why are folks knocking it only when he plays against LeBron... Matter a fact a few years back I told everybody how he is... He is a great player but like every other player he has his lane so instead of making him the next Kobe folks should appreciate him for what he does and who he is...

But that game was a nutshell on why OKC don't want to see the Spurs in the playoffs..

Spurs dont have LBJ; so OKC will be fine against them; I keep telling you Spurs are easy to guard; just dont double team; Only one that can consistently beat you on the spurs team is Leonard and I dont know if he can do it all the time; plus he will spend a lot of energy on the defensive end; OKC matches up well against them and they will see each other in the playoffs for sure..

A healthy OKC has the Spurs number....no matter what the Spurs regular season record and analysts try to tell you

That said I am kinda impressed that the Cavs won this to be honest....to be down double digits....without 3 of their rotation guards

great game .this the only concern with okc to me. they will easily let you back in a game and they will easily get back in one, ...lol. billy donovan and his staff as the season go along gotta get them to have that killer instinct to put good teams away. they up by double digits then the cavs go on 16-4 run.smh. only good they a grind it out team so far.every game they gonna be in down to the wire.frustrating as it is. lol.

Not really that impressive even with the Cavs shortened roster. OKC is not consistent by no means and will give up a lead as quickly as they gain one because they play so reckless. They had the Cavs down double digits multiple times last night and won the free throw battle. They are turnover prone and bad shot takers. Any team that sticks to their game plan (like the Cavs did last night) will always be in a position to win. OKC just have two serial killers that can finish you, so all they have to do is just stay in the game and give themselves a chance to win. Serge shooting jumpers and shit. While he can hit them, what team wouldn't live with him shooter jumpers? Keeps him away from the basket and the ball out of the serial killers hands.

You say that but I can assure you that neither GSW or the Spurs want to face OKC.

The nba schedule has most of their duels against these two teams next year though so we should have a better opinion on all of this next year

I gave the Cavs credit because those guys have been playing shorthanded all year..

Clippers and Spurs matchup tonight. Folks talk a lot about GS and SA matching up, but the Spurs bigger problems are OKC, Clippers, and even the Mavs matchup well.

Dallas and Memphis go at it tonight. Memphis is such a disappointment.

That the thing that kills me about OKC. The danger they can be...

You know they are a handful, but it's not consistent. For some reason, I feel OKC have better chance against the Warriors and Spurs versus the Cavs.

Look I mean I dont think the Warriors or Spurs are as unbeatable as is made out on this board..

After all the excuses I see people make for why the Spurs left the postseason in the fucking first round I cant wait to flambee them motherfuckers again .

Spurs are always susceptible to good athletic teams...which is what OKC is....that said the Spurs bench execution is so much better than OKC that it could be a difference maker..

Spurs vs GSW....they will put Kawhi on steph and take their chances trying to nullify everybody else....

GSW will try to counter by throwing Iguadola, Draymond, Barnes and Thompson on Leonard.....and to be quite honest that is a hell of a 4 player rotation to try to slow him down...

None of these teams will ever have to face both of the other big 2 names in the conference.

Enes Kanter just has to not be a defensive disaster for them in the playoffs

Spurs will face OKC and GS in the playoffs if they win and they aint beating both of them, I dont see it; You are correct with the Spurs lose win the face athletic/dominant pgs because Tony Parker is no longer dominant; The problem with OKC is they are just inconsistent but you would think they will have it figured out by the playoffs; Only reason they have lost the last couple of years is because of health; If the Spurs put Leonard on Curry the whole game, advantage GS; It will take a toll on Leonard offensively and GS will punish parker whomever he guards; No one is unbeatable but a healthy GS team Im taking them over anybody else in the league; GS matches up well with Spurs or OKC; and they wont have to play both of them, unlike the other teams;

OKC is like the 90s Orlando Magic

2 man band with a lot of ass behind them

Hmmmm

The only part where I disagree with you is that I think Kanter, Adams, Ibaka, Morrow,Waiters should be enough for them to make noise provided that everyone plays to potential or contributes..

Those guys are good enough that they should be each able to throw 10-15 points in a night easily

How they won't have to play both...

Let's just say, which is very possible

1 vs 8
4 vs 5
3 vs 6
2 vs 7

1. Warriors
2. Spurs
3. Clippers
4. Thunder
5. Grizzles
6. Rockets
7. Mavs
8. Suns

Why they pay Kanter a max contract and they aren't playing him

I know he can't play defense but they knew that too

Putting him next to Ibaka should hide that some

Wouldnt have mattered; they were going to get blown out no matter who played for the bucks :lol:

I think it's the same cats that took the dubs to double overtime, haven't heard of any trades yet, so thinking it the same squad who we're partying like it was 1999 last Friday

He should be getting big minutes early to help them smash teams even if his minutes decrease late in close games

Shit russ and KD gonna ignore whoever is on the court late anyway

I know Donavan probably can't stand him

Adams is more of his type of center

The only good match up OKC has on the Spurs is in the guard position but keep in mind they played a Cavs team who had Cunningham, Delly and JR as their guards and they still beat OKC... To me thats a red flag, especially if thats your game plan to beat the Spurs.. Also the Spurs have Leonard who, like LeBron did last night, they can throw on both Durant and Westbrook

People been talking about the potential of OKC for the last 5 years and now its at the point there we have to consider that maybe all that so called potential just isn't there.. The main differences I see between teams like the Cavs, G.S. and the Spurs with OKC is that the Thunder parts do not equal to their whole while thee other whole are greater than their individual parts sum..
Meaning OKC are a bunch of individuals with good numbers but as a whole unit they are lacking.. Yesterdays game was a perfect example of this, when they had a big advantage over the Cavs in the backcourt match up, but instead of trying to exploit this as a unit, they simply did what they always do, turn to Durant, Westbrook, and sometimes Ibaka .. Until they learn to adjust to their opponents weaknesses as a team, instead of always attempting to overwhelm with their strength individually they they will always be that team with good regular season numbers, failing to be able to beat the teams who can adjust to their style of play..
