Lakers lose again tonight. The Defense and Kobe shot selection is killing us. 1/5 from three again. Byron check this ninja

Kobe wasn't close to the reason they lost last night.

The defense is horrible. They had the lead, but when they put the second unit in :smh:

Byron needs to do better with the rotation, because the second unit is killing us.

Cousins ain't in Drummonds zipcode.

Damn... The Hornets beat the shit out of the Bulls tonight! Gotdamn, they slaughtered them motherfuckers, and D Rose is officially a C Class "Star" at this point. Dude is the 3rd maybe 4th best player on his team at this point (Butler, Gasol, Mirotic >>> )

This shit was ugly for an 'elite' team to take THIS kind of ass whipping so early in the season!?!? :smh:

D Rose :smh:

Harrison Barnes: It's All Basketball Now With Extension Talks Over
NOV 3, 2015 5:41 PM

Harrison Barnes set a deadline of Oct. 27th, the Golden State Warriors' season opener, to get an extension done.

Without a deal in place, Barnes and the Warriors broke off talks.

“This is a special locker room, a special team,” Barnes said. “I didn’t want my contract situation to hang in the air, hang over the first three games. Come to a conclusion. Either the deal is going to get done, or it’s not going to get done before the season. … It’s all basketball now.”

The leap in the salary cap motivated Barnes to bypass the Warriors' four-year, $60 million offer.

“The TV deal is big,” he said. “I’ve been paying attention to it for a while. The union had been talking about it a little bit. But once it finally happened and there wasn’t going to be any slumping – it was going to ‘boom’ spike – I was like, ‘OK.’"

Barnes consulted with close to 10 NBA veterans, childhood friends and agent Jeff Schwartz before turning down the offer.

Barnes loves Oakland and plans to keep residing there if he re-signs with the Warriors, even after the team moves to San Francisco.

“I love living in ‘The Town,’ ” said Barnes, referring to Oakland’s nickname. “I could see myself living here however long my career is. I can see myself living here when I’m done.”

Barnes isn't about to have a Jimmy Butler season. As long as Steph and Klay are healthy he's nothing more than a role player. Get a dunk in the half court set and hit 2 or 3 3's is all he's gonna give them.

:smh: man this is pure nonsense.

GS are going to keep their core together. Barnes is gonna get a nice deal.

Another lockout is inevitable. Dumb ass owners.:smh:

I love Harrison, but his game is flawed. Golden State is perfect for him. He's not a number one player. It's what many of us found out at Carolina.

He doesn't have a lot of natural feel for the game.

Putting the ball on the floor for him :smh:

Barnes is a fool.

And not just because he thinks hes worth more than he is... But because he last turned down $64mill. Even in this inflated market, he will probably "only" get another ten from someone willing to overpay next summer. You cant convince me that potential increase is enough to risk it all for in the event of injury.

he's maxed out as a player. this is who he is going to be and he is in a perfect fir for him there is no pressure and if he scores 25 points they gonna give him the key to the city and shit and then he can score 8 and nobody is tripping just play some good defense.

but he got the ring now he gonna chase the money.

Yea, but hes apparently too stupid to realize the money is actually chasing him. He's essentially running from it at this point. The game hes playing simply isnt worth the risk.

Yea that's a huge amount to turn down but Tristan fuck you pay me mental net him a $32 million increase

Damn, I didn't consider the aspect that he has reached is potential.

You're right. I don't think has superstar potential and likely will not be an All-Star. He hasn't improved his offensive skill sets much. He is actually trade bait where ever he goes. He is going to be that "free up cap space" player.

I understand why he turned it down. Maybe he want GS to offer him more.

People said the same thing about harden, that he wasn't a number one option. I can see Harrison being a decent number one option not a super star, but a star player. I can see him having great numbers playing beside an Anthony Davis. If Demarre Carrol can get 60 million I can see Harrison getting 80 mill. Reggie Jackson 80 mill. Eric Bledsoe 70 mill. I cant say those players are head and shoulders better than Barnes.

I see th arm chair analysis with their Harrison hate are around. The same things were said about James Harden.

You're right. All them regulars signing those healthy contracts widen Barnes' eyes. To be fair though, Harden was a 20 point scorer. I think Harden's offensive potential at the time he was in OKC is far greater than Barnes now.

At best he'll be a 2nd tier player.

I don't remember folks saying that about Harden. What I do remember is folks saying that he should have stay and solidified OKC as a contender.

Harden wanted to be the man, so that's why he left. Even at UNC, Barnes was a passive star. He lacks the offensive aggression you typically see in most stars.

Now under the right coach, like Gregg Pop, he could have got the Leonard treatment.

Totally different timing, players, and situations. The significant pay bump and salary jump for mid tier players has already taken place. Though next years numbers will have an increase, it would be nearly as drastic as the differences between summer 2014 and summer 2015. Def not enough to justify the risks associated with turning down $16mill per for the chance at getting $18mill per. Further, Barnes just isnt that good a player to garner more than $16 per even in this bloated market. The next pay tier would be that of a Draymont Green, and as much as i criticize Green, Barnes isnt in his class in regards to added value. Lastly, and most importantly, Barnes wont have a franchise player passive aggressively holding the organization hostage while demanding max deals for marginal players he happens to share an agent with.

Im gonna just pretend you didnt even mention Harden... but answer me this.. What have you seen to make you remotely think that HB can be a #1 option on any team? And #2, when in the history of the game has there been a #1 option swing man who cant pass or dribble or hit a consistent J ?

Yea I understand all that... and I'd agree with you everytime someone would go against what your saying...

All I'm saying in this current nba era "it's a great time to be a bball player"...
At first I was on that Tristan benefitted from being friends with LBJ, but looking at things and knowing where it's headed, I wavered from that thinking...

I mentioned Harden only because the Board went crazy when Harden wanted to be a number one option. Saying that he was equal to Tyreke Evans. I don't think he can be number one option but I don't think Reggie Jackson or Bledsoe are number one's either. I think his best bet would be to sign with the pelicans and be the number two behind AD. You say he can't shoot but his shooting % are similar to Hardens with OKC. So compared to some players that are number one's or are going to be number one's Like Chandler Parsons I think he can be a number one on a bad team.

Want to know something, Tyreke could be the numba 1 option in Nola...I'm only forming these comments from watching him take over plenty of games against top teams for two years...

So that might be far out there for some, but being a ticket holder for some years...that's something I saw front hand nightly...

That's no knock to AD either, just saying what Evans bring to the table...
I wasn't never a fan of dude, until he got to Nola...I thought he was a total different type of player...(a not so good point guard that got hype up)
