steph basically has offense over lebron scoring the ball.
lebron has everything else over steph.
they're both so prolific at what they do...all time great prolific that you can't afford to not have them for an extended period.

now this warrior team might win 40 something games without steph. and the cavs might win 30
but with steph they won 73 and that counts for something.

lebron the best doing it right now
next up is steph
then whoever.
I actually agree with this. LeBron has to carry much more of the overall weight for that team its ridiculous AND frustrating with the underachieving talent he has around him.

If Curry's injury is serious then they might beneiifit from this drawn out series. GS don't want ito advance without a healthy Curry for the second round.
I think if it was serious he wouldn't be testing it..i think they just being extra careful and they know they playing the Rockets

Exactly, a rockets team who ain't got shit to lose especially that cock sucka Beverly who purposely try to hurt mofos.. I'm surprised nobody ain't punch that nigga in his face yet

I would say they were regressing if the team was losing. But neither one had been in a playoff game before Bron came to town. They were on sub .500 teams where they dominated the ball and scored a bunch of points in losses. Now they play together so their opportunities are down but expectations are much higher. To win a chip they will both have to play better than theyve ever played. Wouldnt say theyre regressing just their bar is raised. And its also a known fact Loves best games and production come when Kyrie is absent and Bron is feeding him the ball.

As for Steph being more impactful, thats debatable. His primary role is scoring and playmaking. Bron does ALOT more in terms of playmaking, rebounding, and defense. Steph is only 3 years younger than Bron but this is his first season outscoring him and hes about 17,000 points below him on the scoring list. He's a waaaaay better shooter than him but Bron does everything else better.
LBJ doesn't do everything else better than him he only plays defense better than him but Steph is a better overall playmaker he's a better score he's a better passer than LeBron.. everything on the offensive end stepg does better than LeBron everything, LeBron does better on the defensive end so that's a wash...

Me personally I think

Passing - even
Importance - even
Ability to dominate - even

Scoring - CheatCode
Locking in defensive - Bron
Body - Bron(shockingly, with the mileage)
Mindset - curry(only because Bron only body fools at certain times, not nightly)

Bron is a better scorer (higher average, more points head to head, 17,000 more points total), passer (averages more assists), better rebounder (has led 2 championship teams in rebounding, Steph never led in any rebounding categories), better defender (6 time all defensive selections, Steph 0), etc. Steph has 8 career triple doubles (less than his teammate this season). Bron has 42. Steph is a better shooter but theres really nothing else you can point to and say he does better at this point. I wont even bring up DURABILITY. When you look at Stephs body of work vs. LeBron its not close, his team accolades are comparable but individually he's got a ways to go. Ill also add LeBron outperformed him last playoffs and so far this playoff.

Rick Carlisle: Kevin Durant, Thunder took cheap shots at Mavs

Durant, Thunder put the hammer down on Mavs

  • Tim MacMahonESPN Staff Writer

DALLAS -- Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle made a point to call out the Oklahoma City Thunder -- and specifically Kevin Durant -- for taking unnecessary cheap shots that led to confrontations during Dallas' lopsided home loss in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series on Thursday night.

"There were four, what I would categorize as non-basketball physical escalations that were initiated by them, including one intentional, unprovoked elbow at the free throw line, which I didn't understand," Carlisle said Friday. "And I've never seen a guy like Kevin Durant ever do that to a player. Then ultimately, that led to two more escalations between the teams, the fact that that was missed. I'm concerned about that. There's no place for that in our game."

Carlisle was referring to a Durant elbow that hit reserve center Salah Mejri in the chest while they were fighting for rebounding position after a free throw during the third quarter. The blow caused Mejri to fall to the ground, and he animatedly complained to the officials about the elbow during a timeout seconds later.

The ensuing possession ended with double technical fouls called against Mavs guard Raymond Felton and Thunder center Steven Adams with 7:19 remaining in the third quarter.

Felton was angered after being elbowed in the face by Adams when they were boxing out under the basket. Adams, a 7-footer, laughed when confronted by the 6-foot-1 Felton.

"I'm not going to let you just elbow me in my face and I let it go," Felton told ESPN after the game. "Whatever. I'll take a technical or whatever, fine or whatever it is. I'm not going to back down for nothing. I'm definitely not going to let anybody hit me in my face freely for no reason. I'm just down there trying to battle a big 7-footer for a rebound and he elbows me to my face.

"Like, you're that much bigger than me, what you need to elbow a little guy like me to get a rebound? I didn't like it, so I let him know that. But whatever, it's over with now. I ain't trippin' no more. You can smile and laugh all you want to. You ain't just gonna hit me in my face and think everything's sweet. But like I said, I'm gonna let bygones be bygones."

Andre Robersonlowered his shoulder and ran over Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki, who was setting a screen. Nowitzki got up and shouted his displeasure at Roberson.

"I didn't like how he ran through the screen right there," said Nowitzki, who found humor in the situation because he played with Roberson's father two decades ago with a German pro team. "It's the second time it happened, but that's really it."

Carlisle wanted to make sure the issues were raised again Friday, repeatedly referring to the Thunder as the initiators. Oklahoma City holds a 2-1 edge in the series entering Game 4 in Dallas on Saturday night.

"We're not looking to do it unless it's within the rules," Carlisle said. "But there were some things that I know are going to be looked at today, that going into Game 4, we're going to be ready for."

Warriors star Stephen Curry optimistic about Game 4 chances
HOUSTON -- Stephen Curry says he'll be very surprised if his sprained right ankle keeps him out in Game 4 of the Golden State Warriors' first-round playoff series against theHouston Rockets on Sunday.

Curry was injured in the series opener and missed the last two games. Golden State won the first one without him, but Houston took Game 3 on Thursday night to cut the series deficit to 2-1.

Last year's MVP was on the bench for Game 2, but watched from the locker room Thursday night because he didn't bring a suit to Houston. Though he's still listed as questionable for the next game, Curry sounded pretty confident that he wouldn't be on the bench again.

When asked if he'd go buy a suit in case he doesn't play on Sunday, he said: "I will not be going to any suit store."

Hoe ass Dwight Coward.

Nah if anything it's the "Hoe ass" fans that are looking to have an issue with everything.

Dwight pumped his hands in happiness saying "Yes" because they were all nervous that they were giving away the game. Not to mention there were 2.7 seconds left in the game so the game wasn't over.

And if the "Hoe ass" fans paid attention, they would've noticed that a player ran up to Harden jumping up and down cheering and Harden told him to calm down because the game wasn't over.

Right and they're playing the Dubs...so that's added pressure not to be happy

Damn, I forgot how long it's been since there have been a playoff game in the palace. I had a flashback of billups and them boys. Good times.

Brons bitch ass.

Also, im been out of the nba scene all season, but that dudes hair situation is creepy ass hell

im tough on him because the tools are there. not because i hate him. i was the same way with westbrook initially. i had a LONG history of shitting on him because he frustrated me. then he worked on his game, i respected it and i defend him.
i want to defend klay thompson because he can be so much better than he is.
you should never say "2 guard give it up to the power forward because he's a better play maker than you"

never. you should never think that lol

but you do if klay gets a steal.
Klays young and he will get better; dude plays good defense, can shoot lights out; he will get better just by practicing with Steph; add in his own work and dude will be a beast; consistent all star and all nba player...

We not talking about careers, we are talking about right now; so going by right now, LBJ is only better than Steph on the defensive side of ball; Steph is clearly better than LBJ on the offensive side of the ball; every category you can think of offensively hes better, and its not close; only category that is even is assist; LBJ averaged 6.8 and steph averaged 6.7; but lets not get carried away in stats because Rondo averaged 12 assist, but is he a better passer and/or playmaker than Steph???:hmm:; So when talking about those players, lets not create career talk; And Steph is gonna get more rings so by your logic, that you have stated several times, regardless of the career stats Steph will be viewed as better than LBJ right???:hmm:

Right now LeBron is a better player than Steph Curry and people who understand the game of basketball is more than just scoring will recognize that. LeBron averaged a near triple double in the playoffs last year, post Steph's #'s. Dude never averaged over a 23 a game before this season. We not talkin bout 4-5 years ago, we talkin right now. By your logic a few years ago when Melo led the league in scoring he was "better than LeBron", and those 3-4 seasons Durant lead the league in scoring (31 a game in 2014 a higher clip than Steph this year) and won an MVP he was "better than LeBron". Let Steph show up in the Finals and win an MVP before we start declaring him better than a guy who's possibly going to his 6th straight Finals and is already the best ever at his position. Let Steph become more of a force on the other side of the court before we say he's better than a guy who's guarded the Roses, Garnetts, Duncans, Pierces, Parkers, etc in big games. And stop acting like Steph is 23, he's 28, this is HIS prime and he still aint surpassed Bron.

League said the shot shouldn't have counted last night.
Why announce that bullshit? Don't say it shouldn't have counted we fucked up now you're up 2-1 instead of 3-0 it does nothing
just keep that shit to yourself.
and i disagree that it shouldn't have counted. it should. warriors should have trapped harden and made one of the off brands beat them.
