Matt Barnes has agreed upon a three-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers worth $11 million.

Barnes spent last season with the Clippers after the previous three with the Los Angeles Lakers.

You aquire assets for future trades as well as have your own homegrown talent

That's why my team sitting on the sidelines

Nah they just made that space to sign Iggy, they probably have a little bit left but they would need to dump Bogut and probably another salary to get Dwight

Mark Cuban plan has failed. the Mavericks won a chip but in the end they broke up a championship team to do what?

To see who gets to over pay Monta Ellis, Jarret Jack, OJ or Josh Smith.

Dirk will likely leave next year to chase a ring. He should have tried to rebuild this season instead of loading up with players that were done with.

The deal is as follows:
Lakers get Dwight Howard, Orlando point guard Chris Duhon (two years, $6.5 million remaining) and Magic forward Earl Clark
(Dwight left to join the Rockets, Earl Clark signed elsewhere, Duhon likely cut)


-Orlando gets Denver guard Arron Afflalo, Denver forward Al Harrington, Philadelphia small forward Moe Harkless, Philadelphia center Nikola Vucevic, Lakers forward Josh McRoberts, Lakers small forward Christian Eyenga, three future first-round picks (a lottery-protected from the Sixers in 2015, the lower of Denver's two first-rounders in 2014 and the Lakers' 2017 first-rounder) and two second-round picks (from Denver in 2013 and a conditional second-rounder from the Lakers in 2015)

-Philadelphia gets Lakers center Andrew Bynum and Orlando guard Jason Richardson
(Andrew likely to move on)

-Denver gets Sixers forward Andre Iguodala.
