I hear ya but Tyson learning from the Dram is like "feast to feminine" STAT learned and did well because he has the mechanics. Tyson needs something basic like learning the Sky Hook from Kareem. Now I know the "current players" don't like the sky hook but it's an unstoppable move which will take less mechanics to learn then Dreams repertoire. Big man sleep on that move but if you get it going it can't be stopped unless you double team leaving someone open from Melo JR or shooters.

The Sky Hook was the MOST UNSTOPPABLE move... IN NBA history...

Kareem held on for at least 6 or 7 years extra solely based on the Sky Hook...

Yeah it's not much but I give props to Stephen A Smith when he says (I'm paraphrasing) How can you be in pro sports for years and be the same player?? I agree when Stephen A says that and I believe that is what separates the average player and the elite player. Jordan Magic Bird Kobe LeBron Durant Melo Rose Dunca Parker etc. work on their game they just don't settle on their greatness and look for ways to improve their game. there should be no excuse for one dimensional players.

LMA for Noah - I'd do that but to include Jimmy Buckets also hell to the naw.... Or, I will just wait until he becomes an UFA if I'm the Bulls.

NBA superstar center Dwight Howard has yet to provide any public indication of where he will choose to sign his next mega deal, but the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets now feel good enough about their chances that they've started to prepare sign-and-trade offers for the Los Angeles Lakers that feature players like Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson, Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin.

Howard has the raw talent to fundamentally alter the course of a franchise, and with a variety of rumors swirling around, the Lakers have realized the need to prepare contingency plans. L.A. is now "bracing for the worst" and reconsidering its stance on sign-and-trade scenarios, so the Rockets and Warriors are priming fresh offers, according to Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.

Most experts had initially assumed that the Lakers would be unwilling to take on any obligations in a sign-and-trade, because the franchise will certainly be involved in free agent bidding during the summer of 2014. Now L.A. is losing confidence that Howard will re-sign, and both the Warriors and Rockets appear willing to part with valuable pieces to facilitate a trade to give them more salary cap flexibility.

The Warriors are "aggressively attempting to trade away players" to clear space, but they would need to shed roughly $30 million in obligations to do so. Trading Andrew Bogut ($14 million), Richard Jefferson ($11 million) and Andris Biedrins ($9 million) would do the trick, but that's not an easy task. The ESPN report suggest that the Lakers would be willing to consider a sign-and-trade deal if either Klay Thompson or Harrison Barnes is added to a package that includes Bogut. A future first-round pick could always be used to sweeten the deal, and a third team could be used to take on any additional veterans.

The Rockets plan to offer Jeremy Lin -- who played his best basketball under Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni -- and Omer Asik if the opportunity arises, but that deal would test L.A.'s dedication to the 2014 free agent class, because those are long-term contracts that run beyond next year. Houston would aim for such a trade as a way to free up space to sign free agent forward Josh Smith, who is a friend of Howard.

At this point, everyone is waiting on Howard's next move.

LA is likely going to go through a cool off period with championships.

The pattern is there.

After Magic, Kareem, and Big Game won their last chip in 87-88, they didn't win another until 99-00.

The Lakers are 16 time champs because, eventually, some big time talent will be drafted or wooed out to LA.

There is no telling when that will be again...

...but they have too many NBA legends in their history to believe it all dies forever when Kobe retires.

Of course, I won't give a shit what happens after Kobe retires, but LA will figure it out again.

I'd rather keep Noah then. And just go after LMA in 2015 if he's there.

The whole point is for him to dwell in a system with Rose and Noah. LMA work high post, Noah work low post. LMA provides offense, Noah provides defense. Rose draws double teams, he has an offensive guy to kick it to.

So if they want Noah for him, they can keep LMA. We ain't trying to put LMA next to Boozer. He's not that much of an upgrade from Boozer to give up Noah for him.

...well, I just like blue. It don't even have to be blue, but purple and gold are just colors I can't put with anything else, to my satisfaction. Back when I was a Griffey Jr. fan, I used to want to rock Mariners gear so badly, but my family was broke.

I REALLY like sports apparel, btw.

Around the time I went down to Atlanta, I had actually decided to move to Dallas, partially because I liked the Mavs gear so much, but max-dawg and D-Town Rep said the sistas in Dallas were sub-par ... and well ... that was over and done with.

I did a quick search on 'em...

...and neither is a GREAT player. Barnes averaged 13 on 43% shooting...

...and Klay Thompson averaged 16.6 on 40 from threes. Not much better from inside the arc.

I think that's a fair deal.

Dwight going there immediately put them in championship contention...

...but LA gettin' both of them doesn't do the same.
