!!!2008 NFL Free Agency Thread!!! - Updated When Signings Occur

The Eagles are actively shopping Lito Sheppard and guess who one of the suitors are... the New England Cheaters.

Lito was their shut down corner right...that would be dumb. but so be it I am a skins fan

Lito is injury prone at this point in his career ... Asante and Brown will do ... The eagles are looking to trade Lito and someone else for a WR ... hint hint lol ahahah

peace!

Lito is much better than Sheldon. Lito is better than Asante. This can help the pats even more. They gotta sign Randy. And pick up Vernon Gholston in the draft. You could see another dominate season from the pats.

WHO the hell is Kelly, a why did my Raiders give him 50 mill?

He started last year 7 games before he got put on IR. 30 tackles and 1 sack last year. Never more than 5 sacks in his 4 year career. They signed him before he had a chance to get away and Al caved in on his asking price. WAY OVERPAID!!!

Good. Looks like a solid possession receiver.

I don't know if it's been posted but QB Josh McCown is going to be in Miami.

He is from Cali, but from a small town. He went to Fresno State. Just as long as he is not in the NFC I am good because as a Saints fan, he stuck it to us the last two years.

Dolphins get QB Josh McCown (Raiders), WR Ernest Wilford (Jaguars), and OL Justin Smiley (49ers).

Spending that money. That cat is trigger happy, he overspent for Pace and and the guard Justin Smiley. Wilford was probably the best pick up and I think he and Ginn can do damage providing they draft Matt Ryan.

Yeah I been saying the same shit about Wilford. He's a solid receiver, but he just didn't really fit in our system. If he's in the right situation, he can be a valuable asset as a posession receiver and a big red-zone target. Keep an eye on this guy come September because you'll have Ted Ginn Jr. to stretch the field and Wilford underneath like the Patriots did with Moss & Welker.

the saints aint spendin shit.....all they did was trade for vilma....they gon let lito and the other corners get away from em.....

Giants rejected offer from Saints for a second round pick for TE Jeremy Shockey. Giants want either a first or a second combined with a starter. They are saying Saints may counter with that second rounder and Josh Bullocks since the Giants defense is being depleted through free agency.

Falcons signed S Erik Coleman to a four-year, $10 million, including a $3 million signing bonus.

And they are now going into day 2 of Michael Turner's visit. If they don't sign him, their front office sucks.

Buffalo Bills have completed a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars for defensive tackle Marcus Stroud. The price the Bills paid to the Jaguars was a pair of draft picks, third- and fifth-rounders.

Officially the only two teams that are left in the bidding for the services of Lance Briggs are now the New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bears. The Bears are offering slightly less money than the Saints, but it strikes me as interesting because Briggs was fed up with the Bears after they franchised him last year. Money might heal all wounds.

Now if the Bills can help Edwards develop a bit more as a QB and give him a TE to help him out, because that defense is looking solid.....

Damn man...I know the Cowboys don't have any cap room but I figured they would've at LEAST made a trade or somethin by now.
