^ Had a similar incident 20 years ago at my college graduation. It was an evening event, and I was driving my grandmother home later on. She was out of sorts and confused. Where were we / where had we come from / how come my parents weren't there? Wasn't slurring her speech though.

We had spent 3 - 4 hours at the event, and she had sat with my parents.

She had no recollection. I talked to a classmate of mine later and she noted she spotted a bit of confusion with her earlier that evening ... getting lost walking to the washroom down a hallway. She helped redirect her.

I didn't have a cellphone at the time, but knew something was wrong & got her to the hospital and also called my dad (later on) to meet up with us at the ER.

She had also had a minor stroke babysitting us as kids some 12 - 15 years prior ... lost vision in 1 eye and was confused when my mom returned home.

That's the key ... like Dubrow said in the clip ... listen to your loved ones and get medically checked out when something is awry. Don't just let it slide.

Grandma went on to recover and live 5 more years.
