JERRY HELLER'S ATTORNEY'STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON' LED TO HIS DEATH.

Jerry Heller was so distraught over the way he was portrayed in "Straight Outta Compton" it ultimately killed him ... so says Heller's attorney.

Mickey Shapiro tells TMZ ever since the movie came out painting Jerry as nothing but a crook, the former N.W.A. manager has been under a tremendous amount of stress. In fact -- Shapiro says things were so bad -- Jerry barely slept and was "heart broken" over the entire thing.

TMZ broke the story ... Heller was in a car accident Friday around noon, the initial investigation states he may have suffered a medical emergency to cause the wreck. Shaprio says Jerry's family has been told it appears he suffered a heart attack before the crash.

Mickey says he believes the heart attack was brought on by the stress from the film and tells us, "Jerry Heller would be alive today if not for that movie."

Easy was dead - you really think Tomika was going to voluntarily look out for the kids that weren't hers?
I'm telling ya - there are 3 sides to every story, nothing is what it seems - especially in the music industry -truly fucked up - Straight out of Compton was a great movie, but every one of these stories is only 20% facts 80% fiction and whatever sounds good...

Hopefully one day someone will do a top to bottom expose... of the entire Industry, No Limit and Ruthless - and while their at it maybe show what them boys at Uptown got away with

Never one to mince words, Ice Cube responded to the death of his former music manager Jerry Heller during an interview with Detroit's Hot 107.5 last weekend without a drop of sentimentality: "I didn’t have no emotions, you know." Heller died after having a heart attack while driving last Friday, he was 75. Ice Cube told the radio station:

I ain’t goin' pop no champagne, but I ain’t goin’ shed no tears either. It is what it is, you know. We come here to pass, and he’s outta here, so you know. Like I said, I’m not losing no sleep over that one.

As a music industry veteran, Heller helped play a part in bringing N.W.A. into the spotlight in the late '80s, but disputes over money caused a riff between Heller and Ice Cube in 1989 and then with Dr. Dre in '91. Their sour relationship was brought back into the spotlight last year when PaulGiamatti's less-than-favorable portrayal of Heller in the 2015 N.W.A. bio-pic Straight Outta Compton led the manager to file a lawsuit against the production company — which include Cube and Dre — seeking $110 million for defamation. A judge dismissed most of the lawsuit in June 2016.
