► Jerry Heller: N.W.A Manager ... Dead at 75

To all the haters talking reckless you all need to salute this man for giving NWA a chance when nobody else would.

That's over stating the facts. He did not give them a chance they gave him a chance by allowing him to represent them. NWA was making hit records and well on its way to making more hit records when he found them. He had no hand in writing or production all which could have been done without him.

Jerry dying is kind of like a mix bag, he did some fucked up things but still helped NWA get signed and get their music out so to even it out I will say RIP Jerry you CAC.

At least his insurance policy can cop another boob job.

whenever they come out with these biopics somebody always die..especially old cats..biopics= cursed
Lol..they come out with the biopics when it's 2 late..Brah and fuck this Jew..I was always secretly hoping for a reunion with ez b4he died...NWA WAS MY CHILDHOOD..

Another pale face that inserted themselves into our culture, and profited more than we did.

The older I get, the more tired of that shit I become.

RIP
We can also talk about how he ultimately broke up NWA.
Brian Turner really broke up NWA...
Heller was the scapegoat he used
If it wasn't for Easy-E, there wouldn't be an NWA.
true - but without Heller - we might not have heard of them and definitely not Bones or the rest of the stable... Easy didn't know enough to set up Ruthless Records and didn't have access to the right people
But who took a chance and signed them?
you don't know what you are talking about
Jerry Heller signed them to one of the most diabolical & sadistic contracts in music industry history.
:giggle: - not true, not even close to being true.

Brian Turner from Priority records.

They would have eventually been signed. They were selling out shows at the time Jerry came along. Oh, and you can blame Alonzo for hooking Eazy up with Jerry. I think E paid Lonzo $600 bucks for the hookup.

without Jerry they would have been artists signed to Priority - instead Priority only distributed NWA for Ruthless

Jerry may have been a lot of things but he taught Easy lessons of the industry many never learn... only other setup similar was Master P - I only wish the whole team were able to get it in. Might have become the first black owned distributor(s)

Eventually means nothing, Jerry signed them. Case close.

Both sides gave each other a chance. Ok. That don't negate the fact that Jerry signed them.

then you must be pain free - cause your posts in this thread show you, like most in this thread, don't know shit about that business
I know that Jerry signed them, that's what my point was about. People keep bringing up other stuff but all I was saying was Jerry signed them which is true nobody can deny that.

Hope it was worth it... All the money in the world can't keep the inevitable away.

The sad part about this whole thing is, you don't give two fucks about Jerry Heller. You're only persisting with this shit because Jerry Heller is non-black, and you feel the need to troll black people with your cooning.

How you know what I don't care about. Shut the fuck up. I salute the guy for signing NWA and giving them a chance. That's that.

RIP Jerry Heller

I was there from the beginning, so I know. I knew E personally and worked for Dre at Ruthless and Death Row, fall back Colin Cacpernick. You are way outta your league here boy.
Give Jerry Heller his respect, he signed them so thats that. I don't give a fuck what you say, nothing I said isn't false so I don't give a damn what you say.

Why did you ask then if you already knew?

:smh:

Dealing with kid like mind folks like you make me scratch my head sometimes I tell ya.
I'm sure you're always itchy for many hygienic reasons -cause according to you Jerry gave Easy E a chance and signed Easy E to his own label. o_O
