Frankie seemed to be very gracious and accpeting of the decision after fact. Perhaps his fans might disagree but i call bullshit on the majority of the judges scoring it 49-46
Rogan's commentary in the Aldo fight was terrible. Maybe Aldo's counter punches were too fast for him to see while he was snuggled on Jersey Shore's nuts.

Rashad just doesn't seem like the fighter he was coming into the sport. He's lost his confidence and doesn't use his quick jab or speed to pick apart opponents.

When Joe asked Frankie is he thought he won the 3rd round he said 'yes'. This after Joe said Aldo won the first two rounds and Frankie won the last two. If Frankie thought he won the 3rd, that basically means he thinks he won the fight. I'm all for confidence, but the whole 'got robbed' narrative has gotten old.
I'm gonna catch it from my partners now. I did a whole lot of talk about how O was gonna beat Bigfoot. I said he wouldn't last one round. O underestimated Bigfoot and didn't respect him.
Reem is overrated. He fought a stupid fight.
He's been had piss poor striking defense, but dude got big so some people felt he was gonna suddenly be unstoppable.
Dana White just announced that Anthony Pettis texted him during the post conference for 156 and said he would drop down to 145 and fight Aldo.
That would be a hell of a fight.

Might as well, they are stalling him on the 155 title...but on a side note, imo it's only impressive if you move up and beat a guy that's been bigger than you...I don't see what's the big deal about fighters moving down and fucking over smaller guys. Pettis is big as shit compared to Aldo at least in reach.

- Props to Bobby Green on subbing Volkmann. He was the underdog in many peoples' eyes given Volkmann's stifling wrestling pedigree.
- T. Woodley with the massive KO in the first 40 seconds. Damn. Who saw that coming? Respect!
- Maia was solid at 185lbs, but he's looking even better at 170lbs taking out Dong Hyun Kim, Rick Story, and Jon Fitch. He neutralized Fitch completely. Impressive.
- OVEREEM didn't give enough respect to Bigfoot Silva. He's got decent cardio for a big dude, but in close his striking is crisp. We were all laughing in the first round like "Is Silva gonna throw much in the way of strikes at all? The fuck is he hoping to do ... counterstrike?" But damn ... 3rd round ... that final minute of his striking he caught Alistair cleanly several times. VERY HARD to bet on Silva. He loses to guys like CORMIER & VELASQUEZ, but then does the damn thing against guys like FEDOR, BROWNE, and OVEREEM. Where does he rank in the division, lol?
- Props to EDGAR on hanging tough in there. ALDO's on a whole 'nother level, and it's impressive to watch the kind of damage his opponents can take from him over the course of 20 - 25 minutes. Cats like Faber, Florian, Hominick, and Edgar are no punks, but damn Aldo's a tricky match-up for anyone being a Top 5 P4P fighter in his own damn right.

Sure thing, bro. It was an interesting card on the whole. Some highs, some lows. Many are saying the worst fight was the tepid jab-fest with Nogueira & Evans which was the co-main (when many had wanted to see Silva-Overeem in that spot). As for Bigfoot Silva ... really tough call with him. People aren't in a hurry to see his rematch with Velasquez just yet, as Cain demolished him in the spring of 2012 in about 3 or 4 minutes. That was something else. Cain gets knocked out in 1 minute in November 2011 by JDS, and then comes back the following spring and runs a bloodbath of G&Pound on dude's grill. Silva was leaking all over the place (like Joe Lauzon-Jim Miller from Dec. 2012). Wild

Frankie Edgar has to be the most consolation prize wining ass fighter in the UFC. EVERY TIME this dude loses a fight, Joe Rogan and company cry "terrible judges" and he gets to feast off rematches. This dude lost. Everybody else gets taken down a peg when they lose, but, somehow, people dap Frankie more for the way he lost than they usually dap the cat who beat him for winning. Two chances to decisively beat Bendo and lost both times, but they still keep crying foul on his behalf. Can't keep coddling dude like that.

Dana White loves Edgar. Seems like they have a personal friendship. If you look at some of Dana White's VLOGS, they are always talking like they are the best of friends.
I'm guessing that's why he gets a lot of title shots and instant rematches.
Another thing with Edgar that a lot of people respect (including the UFC brass) is that he's a blue collar muthafucka. If I remember correctly, he tried his hand at being a plumber like his father or stepfather in the past. He's durable as fuck with mad cardio. The major comebacks against Maynard (draw & victory) in 2 of their 3 fights. The fact that their trilogy over the years reads as follows for Edgar - Loss / Draw / Victory (showing his resiliency) and other fighters noting on radio shows & tv broadcasts like UFC Connected and others that they consider him one of the P4P best. That he was hardly cutting any weight to reach 155, and even cutting down to 145lbs went smoothly (and still many of the guys there are going to be NATURALLY bigger than him). GSP was asked in 2012 and he noted Edgar amidst Aldo, Jones, Silva, and so on.
