I'm not talking about his base though. Breitbart, fox news... the people that consume that shit are gone. You can't save them.
However, there are a lot of "independents" and enough moderate republicans to be completely turned off by learning that details of the shit Trump did.
Look at Iowa.. despite Trump with 80% support from republicans there, over 40% want him to be primaried. That's really significant.
Impeachment proceedings would absolutely burn Trump. However, Pelosi is smart enough to know that it can't be completely partisan. Which is crazy because any other POTUS would have been impeached at this point... the but environment is way more partisan right now and she's not going to move forward without evidence from Mueller. That much is clear.
I honestly think is the far left doesn't give the media too much fodder (with this socialism, anti-israel shit, etc) + they put a strong candidate at the top, Trump is going to lose.
I just don't trust the Dems not to find a way to fuck this up.
It's literally:
Find a strong candidate for Potus + put a fucking strong dem woman somewhere on the ticket
Keep the caucus together. Let the new congresswoman keep the progressive movement happy but you gotta real Omar and some of that other bullshit in.
Have the impeachment papers ready for Mueller's report.
Have one or two consistent messages to keep the energy you had at the midterms.
