What would be a good internet software to use? I currently have MacAfee Internet Suite through Comcast and it's a load of crap. Now my computer is full of spyware, System Restore no longer works, and now Internet Explorer has been removed due to spyware. I tried using Malwarebytes and the same spyware screws with it and says there is no viruses in my computer when i know there is. Help.

great post. i have avg on my laptop and have never had spyware/malware issues. the science is the same - when you pay norton 50 dollars, you're just helping them to recoup money they spent handing over to the computer manufacturers like dell, for the right to be preloaded on their machines.
